Adhikshit's pov

Sometime the people you thought were loyal to You.....trusted to You.....Betray you and then your home isn't home and you don't feel Happy anymore!

And right now, I am feeling Betrayed....Frustrated....Helpless!

Yes, the Singha Legend is feeling helpless but what to do.... Without my mate....i am powerless!

Looking at the quite Moon, I repeated the same words I have been chanting these past months -

Dear friend,
I would have loved to hold my Roshni in my arms and tell her how much I love her, but since I did not get the chance, so would you please hold her in your warmth and tell her how much I love her?
Please Tell her that I love her so much more than just to the moon and back.!

Tell my love that, even if I can not see her, the only thing on my kind is and will always be - HER

But like everyday, I have been greeted with Silence.

THREE heart wrecking months have passed and yet there is no light in my Life!

How could it be, when my Roshni is not present with me!
It has been three month that i saw my mate!

I have been living like a corpse!

She is nowhere to be seen!

And I am sending out my prayers every day and every second -

Angels of Earth and Heavens, please hear my plea, Take care of my Mate, my nightingale, just for me!!!!

It's not like I have not been looking for her, I am loosing my mind every passing day.
My Beast had not rested even for one night. He has been out in the search of my mate!
He has been mercilessly killing everyone who stood in his way to find Roshni.

I have been looking all over the Valley, even the Karakorams but there is no sign of her, I can't even get a whiff of her as if her scent has vanished from this earth.!

It's like the Nandingha Duo have vanished in air with my Roshni!!!

But I am not loosing hope I know I will find her And when I find her, i will keep her in my heart, away from all!
She has to Come Back to me!

My Beast is devastated!
I just hope we find a way out soon or I have a fear that my Lion is going to give up on his life, in the remembrance of his mate!

Roshni!
Please be Safe!
I promise, I will Find you Nightingale!

You all must have read what happened in the safe chamber, before Samar had informed dad about the situation.
How he is injured and How my Roshni was in Danger!

I had immediately transformed into my Singha and ran as fast as I could towards the safe Chamber.

I just prayed that I reach them on Time!

The nagging feeling inside my Heart was weakening my concentration but thank God, Aadarsh and Adikrit also followed me!

Let me tell you what I saw when we reached there!

Flash Back (writer's pov)

After receiving the message Samar singh had sent through mind linked, Vijay Raj Singhal was bewildered.
He was in a state of shock with the information.
Samar had told him, that Sugandha had betrayed them.
Not only that but the girl he had adopted long back, whom he himself had gaven the name "Ahalya" was also involved in the planning.
But what had snatched the earth under him, was the Fact that NAKSHATRIKA was present there!
And she had Taken Roshni!
And Samar Singh was probably going to Die!

He could not muster the courage to tell everything to Adhikshit but he did tell him that, Roshni was in Danger!

Adhikshit's Lion roared in Anger and he wanted to turn into the merciless Beast. He knew he would rip apart each and everyone who touched his Mate!

He shifted to his Lion and cautiously rushed towards the safe chamber, followed by Aadarsh and Adikrit.

The entire special wing was destroyed and turned into ashes. Dead bodies were everywhere and the amount of blood that was flowing made him nauseatic.

Smoke was everywhere, making his eyes blurry. He looked at the Purohit brothers who seemed to have the same expression.

Adhikshit's eyes had turned scarlet and his muscles tightened, the hair of his mane stood up.
Finally, he reached the Safe Chamber.

The sight in front of him gave a chill. The special Chamber's door was ajar and there was no sign of Samar Singh or his troop.
This did not look good to him!
Where was his Mate?
Why everything seemed so Quite?? - he wondered nervously

Eyes focused on any hidden danger, his heavy paws moved silently like a hunter.... Adhikshit entered the chamber with a nervously thumping heart and with a slow whisper and a lump in his throat he voiced out - Mate???

R.. Roshni???
I know you are in Here nightingale!

Don't play games now???

Please, i beg of you!

Come out of your hiding!

Please?

No reply came in return and adhikshit shifted back to his human form but his legs stayed rooted to their place.
He could not track the familiar mate whiff!
Aadarsh too called out for Roshni and Samar but it was dead silence.

Adikrit moved in further with light steps, holding a sword....a strong pungent smell hit his nostrils and he almost puked....he signalled Adhikshit and Aadarsh that they must walk in more.

The entire chamber was engulfed in Darkness and a suffocating smell lingered in the air.

And then, the three of them reached the place where it all happened.

The scene in front of them was a mess!
All around was nothing but a whirlwind of disorder and violence, a blur of color and vicious motion.

Adhikshit walked in a daze.
Deafening, blood pounded in his ears, drumming to a ferocious beat. The mild sound that he could hear was barely enough to ensure that the cries were of his own people.

Blood was everywhere!
Everywhere he saw, he found Dead bodies, beheaded bodies, scattered bodies.

It was like the after scene of any battle field.

And then he saw two familiar figures, whom he loved with all his Heart, laying in the pool of Blood!

And madly, his beast Roared!
The whole jungle thundered and the chamber's wall began to collapse!

His Eyes Scarlet, his Singha appeared and screamed their names in Horror!

Infront of them were Samar Singh and his sister Aloki!
But never in his dreams he had thought that he would see them like this!

They both layed there lifeless!!!

Their body stabbed and unmoved!!!!

Aadarsh and Adikrit too watched them in horror. Adhikshit was too numb to react at the scene in front of him.
But Adikrit quickly, reached them and tried to check if they were breathing.

It was difficult to find the fainting pulse but to his relief, both of them were Alive!

They are Alive!!!
Alive!!! - he screamed at the dumbfounded Adhikshit and Aadarsh

Their heads moved so fast towards him that he cringed.

A.. Are you Sure??? - asked Adhikshit

Singha!!!!
Don't play Dumb here!!!!
Come back to your senses!!! - shouted Adikrit, trying to hold Samar and Aloki

Aadarsh Bhai, come and help me carry them out of here! Please!!!
If we do not take them to the Doctors right away, I am not sure if they can survive!!!
On a queue, Aadarsh rushed to him and carried Samar Singh whereas Adikrit held Aloki and they ran out of the chamber!

Aadarsh roared at Adhikshit -

Snap out of it ADHIKSHIT!!!!
They need our Help!!!

And you Need to Find ROSHNI damn it!!!

But Adhikshit only heard the part where he had to Find Roshni, his chosen one!

Ignoring the two brothers, He shifted to his Singha and took a sniff in the air.....rushed towards the Jungle and soon he was Gone!!!

And since that night, I had been Lost!
There is no sign of my Roshni!

Or the Traitors !
Sugandha and Ahalya!!!

Why did they betray us???

Why Damn It????

Sugandha, I could understand but Ahalya was one of us!
She was close to Aloki and my other siblings.
Why would she team up with Sugandha.?

Samar Singh and Aloki has also not woken up from their slumber yet. They have been transported to a world beyond our control. Sugandha had stabbed them with special Nandingha sword, so they are still under the effects of its powers.
But the Royal doctors are trying their best and we are hopeful that they will be awake soon.
They are my only hope!

Only they can help me!

And I must thank Aadarsh and Adikrit for saving them on time.
To think it now, I think I acted like a coward. I left my two loved ones un-attented.
But at that time, all I could think was about Roshni!

My Beast was too enraged to focus on any thing other than my Mate!

But things are way more complicated than they seem. I was told by my dad that it was Nakshatrika who took Roshni with her.
Clearly, the Nandinghas wanted to take advantage of her powers. I even asked Dad about the same but he just said that sometimes our past is too complicated to explain. He asked me to wait till Samar and Aloki wake up from the effects as he needed to know what they knew.

According to him, if a Chosen one who has not been in the complete bond with his/her mate and is claimed by another one of us, the Bond is broken....and the bloodline changes.
He feared that if Nian knew this, he would try to form his bond with Roshni in order to control her powers for his benefits. We all knew he would go to any extends to avail the Singha powers!
And not to forget Roshni's exceptional powers that she earned!

And with every second that is going away from my grips I fear, what if Nian did something to my Roshni?

What if he was able to break our Bond???

What if he changed the Bloodline???

Even though, she has my potion but Dad doubts, if that would be strong enough to stop Nian if he forced himself!
My father has spoke to many scholars and we have checked many manuscripts related to our doubts but nothing seems to work.
I have been lookin out for any references but nothing till today, I am clueless.

I regret not completely marking Roshni as Mine!
I regret not forming the Bond sooner!
None of us could mind link with Roshni except for Aadarsh.

Well, that is another story!
Aadarsh has been a rebel since the time Roshni has been kidnapped.
He is going on searches to look out for her on his own!
He has as well killed many!!!

But I totally understand his frustration....only he can track her that is, if her powers are still pure and have not been manipulated by Nian.

Currently, I am restlessly reading one of the rarest manuscripts about The Chosen One. The old beliefs said that if the Chosen one is not willing to surrender, it is forbidden to form the Bond by another bloodline, for it will bring Destruction.

Well, I really hope this is true!

As I am not sure what ways Nian and Nakshatrika would impose on Roshni to accept their Bloodline.!

Roshni, please be Safe!!!
I will Find you real Soon, I promise Love!!!

I was drowned in her memories.....her beautiful Honey locks.....her infectious laughter....i heard mom speak -

Adhikshit!
Son, please eat something?
I know you are worried about Roshni, we all are child!
But do you think refusing to eat or sleep would help you???

I sighed and said - I am loosing Faith ma!
If she was not to be with me, why did she even enter in my Life??
Why did Goddess Jagadamba (goddess of the Valley) send Roshni to me???

It hurts ma!
It Hurts so damn much!!!!

Putting her plam on my shoulder, Mom said - Son!
Faith is about trusting your Goddess and her blessing, even when we do not understand her plan?
Roshni is the Chosen one for you, there has to be a strong reason behind it!

She has to be With You!
I know this is a very difficult time, but you must not loose Faith!

Roshni will be with you, with us, very soon!

I put my head on her lap and whispered -

I hope so Ma!
I really hope so!

She patted my head lovingly and said -

I will Pray for you two son!!!
Now, please eat something?
You know I don't like when you ignore your Health!
Besides, you need to be in right shape to prepare yourself for the War!!!

Don't underestimate those Nandinghas!

They won't let you claim Your mate Back without a War!!!!

I growled and replied -

I am just waiting for the right opportunity ma, I swear I will drink their Blood!!!

They have awakened my Beast!!!

And he will not rest until he behead them all!!!

Suddenly, the doors Burst open and with a lightening speed, arrived Aadarsh!!!

He roared -

I think I have found her!!!!!

How's the chapter guys???

Finally, Aadarsh seem to have track down the Enemies!!!
Adhikshit is finally going to meet Roshni!!!
