"The Battle Of Righteousness"

Writer's pov

Another day passed and yet there was no news of Aadarsh!

Samar Singh was asked to keep an eye on his development.
They wanted Aadarsh to return back to his senses and check with him if he remembered his other avatar.
His body had shifted back but he was unconscious from last 36 hours.

All of the people present in the castle waited eagerly for him to gain his consciousness.
Goes without saying Especially the Purohit Family.

Roshni was visiting the green house, as this had become her second favorite place to visit in the morning.
She touched the roses, the poinsettias, the tulips and other greens.
Her touch made the flowers to bloom further.
She thought for a second and went to a corner where some plants were almost dead. She caressed them and just like she has wondered, they became alive.

She giggled, learning another use of her magical hands.
What Roshni was still unaware with that her power was not only limited to this. The power she was gifted could heal everything that was withered or wounded.

Except of death, she could cure almost everything but she was yet to discover this.
All in its due time!

Someone seems to enjoy her Magical powers! - she heard Adhikshit

She turned around and blushed looking at the Handsome Singha who looked freshly showered.

I.... I....am just exploring! - she spoke shyly looking down

Adhikshit in a blink was standing in front of her and lifted her chin and felt so loved. His Nightingale was blushing and this new shade of pink was now his favorite.

He caressed her soft jaw and spoke sexily -
Roshni! Am I making you Blush?

Roshni looked into his eyes and they were golden brown something like honey. His orbs were something so magical, she had observed that they changed color with every possible emotion and recently she found herself willing to drown in them.

She spoke, spell bound -
You have Beautiful Eyes Adhikshit!

And his face brightened.
His heart fluttered, his Singha howled in pleasure acknowledging that his mate was paying attention to his features.

His arms itched to engulf his mate to his chest but he refrained.

He asked Roshni to close her eyes and then went somewhere.

After a few minutes, Roshni felt something being kept on her head. She asked - What are you doing?

Just adorning my mate with Nature! - Adhikshit replied

He again held her hands and took her somewhere and asked her to open her eyes.
Roshni opened her eyes and saw a lake in front of her.
It was crystal clear and the slow humming caused by the wind was making it look so surreal!

This isn't Real!
How can a place like this be real! - she whispered

Well it does in my world!
And now Miss Roshni, you are the queen of this land.
The crown is the Proof! - he smiled

Roshni giggled looking at her reflection and touch the flower crown, Adhikshit had placed on her crown.

The flowers bagan to glow with her touch and she felt so loved.

Thank you! - she voiced out

And Adhikshit back hugged her and they watched the beautiful nature in front of them in silence.

I want us to work! - roshni spoke softly out of nowhere

And Adhikshit tightened his hold and whispered - Me too Mate, me too!

The beauteous silence was broken by the grumbling of Roshni's stomach.

Adhikshit chuckled and said -
Let's get you something to eat Queen!

All the Singhas and Roshni with her Dadi and Adikrit were having their breakfast, when a panting Samar Singh came and announced -

My King!
H.....he is up!
Aadarsh is awake!

Roshni dropped the spoon that she was holding and sprang up from her seat.

Are you telling the truth?
Bhaiya is Up!
Dadi, did you hear Aadarsh bhai is awake!

H....how is he?
Please i want to go meet him! - she spoke with tear filled eyes

Pardon me my Queen, I can not say if it is a good idea! - replied Samar hesitated

What is it Samar? - asked Vijay Raj Singhal

My King, I have a feeling that Aadarsh
doesn't remember anything!
He sounded normal as if nothing happened before.
In fact he was himself surprised how he reached this place! - replied Samar thinking

Hmmm!
Let's go and see him first!
I think, it's a good Idea if his Family accompanied us.
Hopefully, he will remember something! - replied the king thinking for a while

Amma!
I think you should tell him the truth before it gets complicated! - vijay spoke looking at the grandmother

She nodded and They all reached the Basement and Roshni held Adhikshit's  hand as if she was unsure what was coming in front of her.
Adhikshit smiled at her and asked her to go to Aadarsh!

B.. Bhai? - she whispered entering the chamber

Aadarsh who was sitting on a chair jerked up his head and gasped - Gudiya!?!
Holy Ganges.... You are here... In front of me! Are you ok?
Am I dreaming!?!
Where were you!?!
I have been looking for you like a madman!
What are... What are you doing here?
Where am I?
Why can't I remember how I reached here!
And I saw Samar, remember he came to meet us?
He was asking me so many things and I.... I am not sure what to tell him! And there are so many men keep coming to me! - Adarsh rubbed his face and spoke, confusion clear in his voice

Roshni quickly went to her brother and held his hand - Bhai! Please Calm Down!
Relax! Look I am here, all fine!
We all are here!

All??
Who??? - Aadarsh frowned

Granny and Adikrit Bhai! - replied Roshni and walked in everyone on a queue

All the Singhals and other important men surrounded the area and some watched Aadarsh in suspicion and some in pity.

Aadarsh sensing several weird gaze, spoke -
Who are these people Rosh?
Mr. Singhal??? What are you doing with my sister???
Why am I here? And why Roshni?
What is going on here?

Adhikshit decided to speak first - Aadarsh! We all here, have something to tell you!

But first, i want to ask you something?

What is the last thing, that you remember?

Aadarsh Frowned and tried to remember and spoke -

What do you mean by what I remember???

I....It was the night of Eclipse.!
We were sleeping like usual, granny kept talking about the Myth which I frankly don't believe.
But next day, when I woke up, things were changed.
Our Roshni was missing!

We looked for her all around, all her possible hide outs but she was nowhere.
It was then Granny said that Gudiya must be claimed by some jungle Singha.

To tell you the truth I laughed at her,
But, as time passed, there was no sign of Roshni, I was panicking.

Flashback

Aadarsh didn't know where to find Roshni and police was of no help.
It was the next day, when he saw something blurry, running towards the jungle and he followed his instinct, something inside told him that may be this is where he would find my doll.

Jungle anyways always fascinated Roshni.

He jogged through the jungle and then  saw a man, standing at a rock.

I knew you would come! - the man spoke

Who are you?
And why are you here in this dark jungle? - Aadarsh asked

That does not matter My Friend!
What matters is your Sister, who if I might add is missing! - the person replied

How do you know about my sister?
What did you do to her? - Aadarsh asked angry

The man chuckled -
Cool down your nerves man!
I didn't do anything, it is someone else!

Someone kidnapped her and now I don't think she will ever be back!

Don't talk Rubbish!

Who kidnapped my sister and why!?!
I will search in the whole world for my sister and she will come back to me.! And I will make sure to break each and ever bone of  that person! - Aadarsh spoke gritting his teeth

Well, it's not so easy my friend!
The people who took your sister, are not any normal humans!
They are mythical creatures!

Mythical creatures? What the Hell? - Aadarsh snapped

Believe it or not!
They are the ones who kidnapped your sister. But you can save her!
If you follow my instructions!

I know where she is!
All you have to do is make a promise to me that once you have your sister back, both of you will come to me straight!

Why?
I can take care of my sister! - Aadarsh frowned

Aadarsh, if you want my help, you have to come to me! - the man grunted

Aadarsh frowned at this weird sound but since he was desperate to find Roshni, he agreed.

So, it's a deal!
I will give you something of mine and you will bring your sister to me! - the man spoke
He touched his arms and Aadarsh felt a strong burning in his entire body. His bones made weird noises and his whole body felt like a molten lava.

What have you done to me?? - Aadarsh grunted in pain

Shuuush!!!!
It's nothing Aadarsh!
Just a little something from my side to fight with your enemies! - the man spoke

Do not fear Aadarsh!
It's who you are!
You have always been!
Go Save your Sister!
And do not back on your words!
Or you will see the Worst! - the man warned and his eyes.....

And then....

Flashback ends

Aadarsh could not speak any further as if he himself was not sure what was he talking about.

And then what Aadarsh?
Who was that man? - Adhikshit asked horrified

I....i....don't remember!
Why can't I remember??? - Aadarsh rubbed his forehead

What did that man look like to you Aadarsh?? - asked Adhikshit sternly

But Aadarsh looked clueless!

I don't know, ok! I never saw his face....He just touch my hands....and.....but his words stuck in his throat and Aadarsh grunted, his voice shook like a volcano.

His eyes blazed....hands shivered....Di...did I do something ho...horrible?
What happened to my voice??
Why do I sound like some animal???

Why do.....do I feel so H....Heated?? - Aadarsh suddenly felt pain in his entire body and he curled up into a ball

His bones began to twist again and the pain was unbearable. Aadarsh could not help but let out a scream in pain.

Som..... Someone save me! Please!
It's too painful!!! - he cried like a child

It didn't take Adhikshit to figure out that Aadarsh was infused with some kind of evil potion.

And then it all made sense!

Everyone looked at him and he mind linked with his father :

Dad, I think.... I think Aadarsh has been infused with Nian potion.!
And that explains why he suddenly turned into his creature, without the breaking of the mantras!
Someone from their clan.....He increased the already existing Nian potion in his blood.!
I think they knew his secrets.!

Vijay gritted his teeth - It has to be someone powerful Adhik!

If I am not wrong, it's none other than

Nishan Raj Nandingha! - completed both the Father and the Son together

That Bastard!!!!!
I am going to kill him!!!! - Adhikshit shouted

Wh.... What is happening to Aadarsh bhaiya?
Please do something, someone!?! - Roshni cried looking at the Singhas

Aadarsh on the other hand looked at his baby sister with tear filled eyes. He didn't like her crying. But he was helpless with all the pain he was suffering from.

Vijay mind linked again with Adhikshit and Ordered him to do something that he knew was best for Aadarsh at that moment.

He asked Adhikshit to infuse Singha potion to him.

Adhikshit was not ready to take such a risk as he knew with increased potion in his blood, Aadarsh will shift.
But Vijay told him, it was for his own betterment. At least they will know what is inside him.
He said - We must find out son, how different he is from the rest!?!
And also, if the increased Nian potion controlled his creature, there can be chances that he will turn Evil, forever.

So, it was important to infuse some pure blood in Aadarsh's system.! - vijay explained and finally Adhikshit agreed

Everyone was asked to leave except for the Singha family and the Purohit family.
Samar Singh and a few more trusted warriors were asked to stay as they did not know how powerful Aadarsh next shift would be and if they would need some force.

The Royal Singha doctor was called in and Adhikshit, sliced his palm a bit and collected some blood and very precisely, the doctor injected Aadarsh with it.

Aadarsh was lying on the wooden bed Lifeless, he grunted as the injection was emptied into his vessels.

And within a few seconds, his body began to cool down.
And soon, the transformation began!

With Cracking of Bones, twisting of eyes, hoarse screams and changing of the skin, Aadarsh entered the process of shifting.

Roshni watched his brother who turned into a NanSingha.
But this time, his transformation was complete and he looked beautiful in his mythical creature.

He had the body of a mighty Singha but had two beautiful thorns, as he inherited both Singha & Nandingha genes. His eyes were green and deep.
Unlike last time, he was in much control of his body and watched everyone like a newborn baby but his eyes finally settled on Roshni.

He began to walk upto her and this alarmed Adhikshit but Roshni nodded him to stop.

Aadarsh reached to Roshni and sat near her and nuzzled his head carefully in her lap, a sign of affection.
Roshni smiled and caressed his mane and her magical hands omitted some kind of blue light and Aadarsh seemed to relax.

They both seemed to converse but it was clear that they did not need to speak.

Aadarsh and Roshni could mind link and just the thought of it made Adhikshit frowned.
He was not able to mind link with his mate but his mate could mind link with her brother... Or... A hybrid... Or whatever!

He stomped his feet like a five year old and spoke -
Enough of touching my Mate, Aadarsh!

Get back to your human form!

Aadarsh's eyes fixed on Adhikshit and his body stiffened, Roshni asked on behalf of Aadarsh - He is saying he does not know how to shift back!

Adhikshit rolled his eyes and said - In order to shift back to Human form, all he has to do is imagine his Human form.!

Roshni chuckled at his childishness and told the procedure to Aadarsh through mind link.

And within a few seconds, Aadarsh was back to his Human form and before Roshni could say anything or rather scream, Adhikshit quickly closed her eyes as obviously, Aadarsh was naked.
And no way in hell, he would let her see any male naked!

Well, of course apart from him!

Samar Singh gave clothes to Aadarsh who himself was flustered, being watched without any piece of cloth on his body. He muttered a quick thank you and wore the clothes aa quickly as possible.

And the first thing he said was -

Um...I am HUNGRY!
Can I get something to eat, please!?!

And everyone laughed!

Aadarsh ate like he had been starving since a month. He finished the whole table full of various dishes.

And once he was done, he felt eyes on him. He saw that everyone around him had their mouth wide open and he blinked his eyes sheepishly.

I.... I... Was really Hungry! - he spoke with a little pinkish tint on his cheeks

It's alright Aadarsh!
Now, my boy.... We need to talk! - spoke Vijay Raj Singhal

Ye...yes Sir! - Aadarsh had only heard about Vijay, never met in person but he knew from the seriousness of his face that the man in front of him was very commanding and earned respect from everyone present there.

So, let me introduce you to the Prides!
I am Vijay Raj Singhal, the current Singha king of this Prides but soon, my elder son, Adhikshit is going to rule the full of this Valley.

And your sister, Roshni is his mate!
And if you think that you can take her away from here, I would say reconsider your thoughts!

She is going to be the next Queen of the Prides and Valley. And she has to be with my Son, as she is his chosen mate!

Mate?
What's a mate? - Aadarsh asked confused

A mate is our soulmate, our other better half.!
Like a couple!
And just to let you know, we are together....like together-together! - replied Adhikshit holding Roshni, closer to him, his Singha was coming front, his possessiveness for his mate was crystal clear which made Aadarsh angry.

Aye Boy!
Stop being this touchy!
Leave my Sister!
She is not yours!
I can not approve of this! She is too young to date....Besides, don't you think you are too old for her! - Aadarsh growled

Adhikshit let out a grunt and held Roshni by her waist and said - She is Mine!
My mate, and nothing can separate me from her!

Both the guys gritted their teeth and ready to attack whereas, Roshni cringed looking at their heated orbs.

Boys!
Calm down your nerves!
Well, leave the Mate part aside for sometimes, I have other important things to discuss with you two! - Vijay replied

So as you know Aadarsh that you have a different from within you despite your human form, and you are special! So, you have to choose a Side! - he added every word carefully

Can you tell me what exactly I am? Am I some kind of animal??
And sides???? What do you mean by I have to choose a side? - asked Aadarsh like a kid

You are a Hybrid!
A very rare and gifted creature called NanSingha! - replied Vijay

Am I harmful? Did I hurt anyone? - Aadarsh asked like a guilty child

It's not about being harmful or hurting some one Aadarsh!
It's about which path you choose Aadarsh!
You have to decide which bloodline you choose?

Us, the Singhas's or the Nandinghas!

The person you met before you reached here was a Nandingha and not just any other Nandingha, but he was Nishan Raj Nandingha, our arch rival and he possess an Evil creature.
He is manipulative and that's why he used you, as he knew you have both bloodlines within you. So, he tried to awaken your evil side. He purposely infused his potion so that you think Evil.

But you have to choose wisely Son!
You have special powers Aadarsh and you have been chosen by Goddess Parvati to protect the valley and especially, Roshni! - convinced Vijay

But I was as normal as any other kid of my age, I clearly remember.
How did it all happen?
And...what if I hurt someone?
You know when I shift back into that creature, I loose my mind!
I could not think straight! - Aadarsh asked still trying to figure out his other side

But this time, His granny came upto him and held his hand and spoke - Aadarsh Bacche!
Please don't stress yourself!
And you can never harm innocent people!
I have raised you good!

We all Love you!
This is who you are!

I always knew that You are a mythical creature apart from this human body you have a different avataar too. Your mother and father both were like you too.!
And... I..... I was one of them too!
I know it's a lot to take in but my son, you must accept your creature.
You have bigger responsibilities on your shoulders and you must remain loyal to your Prides and people! Your father was from the same Prides! - granny spoke softly

Aadarsh looked at the people around him and nodded.

He spoke - If I have to choose between Right and Wrong, then there is no way I will choose someone who would harm my family.
So, I choose to accept my Father's prides and friends, the Singha Prides.

Vijay patted his shoulder with affection and said - I am proud of you Son!
Welcome to the Singha Prides!

And in order to be in the Prides, you have to undergo some training. It will help you to have a control over your NanSingha.
And I know the exact person best suited for your training! - Vijay smirked

My Son, Adhikshit will train you! - he added and Aadarsh srunched his nose

On the other hand, Adhikshit chuckled.

Your Training Starts Tomorrow, new friend!
You better be on time!
I am a very strict Coach! - Adhikshit smirked and Aadarsh growled in frustration

So finally, Aadarsh chooses to be a member of the Singha Prides!

But will It be easy for him to accept his reality and work on his new creature?

How will Nian react when he finds out that his Pawn has already turned the tables.!
