How and Why Aadarsh suddenly transformed?
What is the story behind his sudden transformation?
Is he not what we all knew he is?

Or there is more to his past?

"The Forgotten Member"

The valley and Village Malana had always been connected. They have always worked hand in hand, whether be it keeping the secrets of the valley intact or be it establishing a marriage  alliance.
It was no secret that many male Singhas chose their mates from the village.
Many girls have disappeared over the years in the name of marriage and the Claim.
But what was not out in open was that  Similarly, a lot of boys were also picked up by the singha females as they were their destined mates.

It was a two way treaty, established by the Goddess Parvati herself.
And the people in the valley were quite perceptive of this arrangement.

They never bothered to find out what happened to their daughters or their sons.
They just knew that they are leading a good life.
As far as no rules were broken Humans and Singhas had a strong bond.

Love blossomed between the two kinds and thus they had many hybrids amongst themselves.
Their off springs were sometimes a complete singha, a complete human, a half singha, a half human or in a rare situation, there was an off spring that was Both Singha and Human.

Each one of them were special and were considered as a part of the original Singha Prides.

The love in the valley was valid between these two species but what was considered as a grave sin was establishing a mate bond outside the valley and Singha clan.

The Prides had made a set of dedicated warriors called "Rakshakas" Who were responsible for looking after the alliance formed between Humans and Singhas, in order to keep a proper record so that they knew who was their blood, even outside their jungle Prides.

When goddess Parvati, blessed them with a partition between the valley and decided the land into Himalayas and Karakoram, she specified the legal alliances.
Especially, Nandinghas were strictly prohibited to claim anyone from this side of the valley and vice versa.

It was natural that the rift and the animosity between the Singhas and the Nandinghas, always kept them apart, yet there had been incidences where a member of the Singha Prides married a member of the Nandinghas.

For who could stop Love from blooming!

And such couple was either exiled from the valley or exempted of their special powers and sometimes left cursed to die.
And they were most likely cursed by the Rakshakas of the Scarlet Legend.
It is not that Love had not blossomed ever between the two but it was forbidden.

It was like a curse once you consummate with a mate outside the valley, especially from the Karakoram valley. And so they mostly refrained themselves from having any intimate alliance with the karakoram valley.

But we all know, love knows no boundaries, there were couples who were members from both the valleys each, who broke all the barriers and went ahead to fall for each other and thus being cursed!

No one knows where they went once they were deprived of all their powers, no one bothered.
But, they didn't know that there was one such couple, that was very much alive after all the hardships they faced....and in future they are going to change the entire valley upside down!

Anyways, now back to the last chapter!

Aadarsh was still not into his full shift yet he had so much strength and he gave full fight to the Singhas to safeguard his baby sister.
But finally, he could not match up to the strengths Adhikshit possessed.
So finally, Adhikshit managed to tie down his legs and ordered Samar -

Take him to the basement.!
And make sure he is chained properly!

But what surprised everyone was that how Aadarsh could have Singha features, even after living his whole life like a human!

There is only one possiblility....!

He was a Singha blood!

But how?

He was not in control of his power or his newly discovered form, the potion or the bloodline was weak and also his half transformation suggested that may be, this was his first time shifting.!

Every living things that existed in that castle had heaps of questions on there mind but there were no answers.

Samar singh as per the command of his Singha King, was dragging the half transformed Aadarsh to the basement when suddenly they all heard a female  voice -

NO!
STOP!!!!

WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING, HAS TO STOP!

DON'T REPEAT THE MISTAKES OF YOUR PAST!

YOU DON'T WANT TO HARM YOUR OWN PRIDES FAMILY!

The lady walked upto Aadarsh and looked at him with tears.
She caressed his body and he hissed.

She softly spoke to him - Please forgive your good old lady, son!
But I promise you, I will make things right.!

I should have known better!

Aadarsh helplessly watched his grand ma and let out a painful grunt, shaking the earth beneath him.

Everyone froze in their respective places listening to their conversation, the elderly woman who was the source of this voice, didn't make any sense.

But she was not alone and it was Adikrit who accompanied her.
Her appearance was very much like Humans of old age! Her hair, a mix of grey and white, her face filled with deep wrinkles, her body frame weak yet there was something so powerful and mysterious about her voice that even the mighty Vijay Raj Singhal stood on his place.

Adhikshit knew who she was but why she was here, was the mystery and especially her words had him puzzled.

Noone knew What did she mean about "Your Own Prides Family" And so Vijay decided to speak first.

Who are you amma(elderly lady)???
And how did you both managed to pass through the castle? - he asked frowning

You don't technically know me son, yet you might know me!
And I am here to stop you all from committing a sin that i and my off springs committed long back.
But, please don't hurt Aadarsh!
He is unaware of the Truth, just like you!

Adhikshit walked up to Roshni's grandma and said - Grand ma!
I understand your concerns, Why don't we all sit somewhere private?
We all have many questions after what we have witnessed.

And what about Aadarsh?
I can't let him be in his form and cause any harms to us! I have to keep him some where safe so that we can watch over him.

Grand ma nodded at him hesitantly.

Don't worry we won't harm him unless it is unavoidable! - adhikshit assured thinking

I am sure you would not harm him but I am sorry that this secret came out like this. I never knew the steps I took long back, would cost my future generations this much! - spoke grand ma in deep thoughts

They all walked further to reach Vijay's study room. Adikrit held his grand ma from her shoulders and made her sit in a sofa. He was calm the whole time.

Before I start the story behind this all, I want Roshni to be present here too! - she spoke softly

I... I...don't think it's a good idea granny!
She has been through a lot already and any bitter truth is going to break her more! - spoke Adikrit for the first time

It's Important Adikrit!
She must learn the truth.... I have kept so many things from you all but it's high time, you all know the complete truth! - grand ma spoke, this time firmly

Adikrit looked at Adhikshit and he nodded and walked back to get Roshni.
He reached her chamber and knocked on the door but got no answers instead he heard soft sobs.

He barged in to the room worried over his mate and indeed saw roshni sitting on the edge of her bed sobbing.

He sat beside her and held her hands and gave it a little squeeze.

Roshni looked at him and cried more, he moved closer and wiper away her tears and spoke - Roshni, please calm down love!
I know this is too much frightening for you but you got to be strong!

W...why is this happening to me?
I....now...I don't even know Adhikshit who I am anymore!
All my life I have looked up to my brothers as my protectors. And suddenly Aadarsh bhai turned into a Monster!
Why is everything so complicated? - she asked crying

I want everything back to normal please! - she pleaded closing her eyes

Adhikshit on the other hand was bleeding from inside. His mate was so much in pain and his lion wanted to wipe away all her worries, if only he could read her mind!
But, his bad luck, his mate was immune to let out her thoughts to him!

What a curse he had! - he thought

He caressed roshni cheeks and spoke softly - Rosh! I promise I will take away all of your pain, please let me in?
I can't change our fate but I can certainly make you Happy with whatever we have between us!
But for that you have to tell me what is going on in your mind, rosh!

Please Love, let me in! - he almost pleaded

They both shared an intense eye lock and a vulnerable Roshni hugged him tight, crying out loud taking Adhikshit aback!
He knew she needed comfort and so he held her in his arms, providing his warmth to calm her nerves.

He stroked her back in a soothing way and Roshni's sobs died down in no time.

He removed the few strands that had spread over her forehead and spoke - Your Grand ma is here!
And she has to say something important to everyone and she asked me to get you!

You think you can handle that? - he asked unsure

Grand ma is here?
I.... I want to see her!
Does she know about A.. Aadarsh bhaiya? - she asked worried

She saw him, so don't worry!
And I have a feeling she has all our answers!
So I request your presence.!
I want you to know whatever she has to say to us! - replied Adhikshit

Roshni nodded and then suddenly became aware of what she did just now. Her eyes widened and ahe tried to come out of the embrace but Adhikshit prevented her from doing so, instead he bend down and kissed her forehead, leaving his Lips there for a few seconds more.

They both let out a deep breath and Adhikshit spoke - Let's go!

And then suddenly held Roshni by her arms and husked -
And Love, get used to my kisses!

Roshni turned red in embarrassment and Adhikshit smiled as he wanted to change her mood, which he certainly did.

Upon reaching the study room, Roshni nervously stood amongst the Prides members, still looking curiously at her grand mother and her brother, Adikrit.

She didn't know what was in store for her. She wanted to hug her brother who looked at her with longing eyes yet for reasons, she hesitated.
She saw one of her brothers shifting into a dangerous creature and now she was scared if her other brother was also like that.

Her grand ma noticed her presence and spoke - Roshni!
Oh my child!
How are you Roshni?
I m sorry, it's all my fault.
I should have told you guys earlier! - she spoke

Whatever wall she tried to build, broke hearing ever so soothing voice of her grand ma after such a long time. Roshni rushed to her and put her head in her lap and cried. Adikrit too caressed her back and for a fraction of a second Adhikshit winced, but he knew his mate needed that touch.

So, tell us what is the story behind this Havoc, amma! - spoke Vijay Raj Singhal breaking the emotional reunion

Grand ma nodded at both her grand children and began -

It all started with Love!

A love that was Forbidden and Cursed in the Himalayan valley.
But since when Love could be chained...the strong emotions don't let you think rationally and we do things that are forbidden, despite being well aware of its consequences.

And so I did!
I am or I was a pure Singha blood who was a part of this same valley.
Both my Father and my Mother were warriors from the same Prides, however they were from lower ranks.
I was special to them, they loved me so much and gave freedom to choose my partner!

They did tell me about the rules but I was never serious.
Then I found someone....someone who made a home in my Heart!

I was young and so was he....and inseparable in love, so much that I didn't know that we were breaking the rules made by goddess parvati when she divided the valley.

Despite the protests from my parents....I.....I married a Nandingha!

I was in love with the man and no doubt despite being a Nandingha, he was a nice man. I was happy to spend my life with him, even though We were warned to sacrifice our powers but we somehow managed to elope.
My parents disowned us and he didn't have a family of his own.
And then against all protests we got married and got settled in here, in village Malana, disguised as just Humans.

Hiding our identity, and without giving up on our powers, we both consummated and later I gave birth to a Beautiful girl.
She was special we knew the day she was born but we were scared, that she would face harsh consequences being our child, so we kept her secretively.
We never let her out so that none knew about her powers. She was a miracle girl, having both mine and my husband's powers.
But yet she was so gentle.
Time passed....She grew into this fine women and then we got her married to Aadarsh's father who was a protector of the Singhas, without telling him our real identities.

Aadarsh's father was a brave man and loved our daughter but soon he got to know about my daughter's real identity.
And when he found out our secrets, he was raged. He condemned my husband and keeping him in dark.

My daughter was devastated too, as he broke all ties with her, despite her being pregnant with their first child...not that he didn't love her anymore but because he was feeling guilty... He felt that he was betraying his Prides.
He went under depression....So much that he decided to take his own life.

But I somehow stopped him from committing the crime, and then we did everything in our powers to rectify our mistakes.

The fetus in my daughter's womb was exceptional but his powers, unintentionally began to give a hard time to his mother.

We did numerous Havans, worshipped Gods from both the valleys to avoid any unpleasant incidents and in all that process, we met a Saadhu Baba.

He was a very pious soul and when we told him about our sins, and the unborn child, he decided to help us in exchange of my and my husband's power.
We didn't think twice and gave up on our powers willingly.
Now, both of us were humans only.

He called a few of his trusted yogis and sat in a samadhi in a cave that was a part of both the valleys. He did an exclusive Havan to ask for forgiveness and soon goddess parvati blessed us all.
We received her message through the Sadhu baba that in order to keep this baby alive we must serve her in future.

However, we did not know what was the real purpose yet we agreed.
She blessed my daughter that her newborn will not have the powers until she herself granted him those powers back.

We returned to our place and soon enough My daughter gave birth to a Baby Boy.
He was beautiful and different from boys of his age as he had both Singha and Nandingha blood in his veins.
However, because of the blessings he received from goddess Parvati, he was as normal as any human.
And then was born Adikrit!
Another child from my daughter, but this time the blood in his veins was that of a complete human.

Time passed and we all literally forgot about the promise we made to goddess parvati until one day, she came in our dreams.

She asked us to meet the Saadhu baba again, as it was time to fulfill the promise we made long back.

We all reached the same cave and there, Saadhu baba was waiting for us with a bundle that omitted light.

He looked very tensed and nervous. When we asked him about the purpose of our visit, he handed us the bundle.

We all were awed to see a new born baby in the cradle. She was divine and had her skin glowing.

It was no secret that she was a blessing from goddess parvati.
We asked saadhu baba who this child was and he had said -

Time will let you all about her!
Just know that she is a miracle baby and a chosen one, make sure you protect her with your lives.
And from now on, your family is responsible for her safety!
Make sure her powers are kept hidden, until she reached her puberty and she reaches the right person, when it was time of her departure!

She has greater purposes to serve!

We all nodded and took blessing from the baba, he did some pooja to hide the glow of that new born baby.!
Aadarsh and Adikrit were delighted to know that they now had a baby sister.

And then we came back to our house and raised all our kids with utmost care and we made sure their secrets were safe!

Grand ma then stayed quite!
A sudden uncomfortable suspense aired around everyone.

But it was Roshni who asked nervously, enough though at the back of her mind, she knew who that was. She asked -

Who are those kids granny??

Grand ma let out a deep breath and spoke -

That special boy is none other than my Aadarsh and the baby we received from Saadhu baba, is...

Is You my child!

And this is why you both are special.
And technically Aadarsh is a hybrid.

No one spoke as it was too much to take in.
Then what happened granny? - asked a very serious Adhikshit

The wrinkles on granny's face turned deep and she continued -

Time passed and everything was going as per the instructions given by Saadhu baba. Kids were growing up with each passing day.
Both Aadarsh and Roshni were kept hidden and their human side was more highlighted to the outer world. Adikrit was the only one who got the most freedom to mix up with kids of his age.
The three of them were apple of our eyes. We were living a very normal life.
Saadhu baba used to come from time to time and met both of them.

But it was one unfortunate day, our house was attacked by evil powers.
I don't know how they found out about the kids but my daughter and my son in law vowed to protect them even if they had to die.

They flee with little Roshni leaving behind Aadarsh and Adikrit.
But they got caught by the Nandinghas and were killed as they tried to safeguard the miracle baby, goddess parvati had ask.

We somehow rescued the kids but we could not save our kids.
We all mourned over our loss but my husband could not survive the guilt and he soon died of illness.
I was left alone but I gathered myself for the sake of my grandkids as now we all had a greater purpose to serve.

I fulfilled the pledge that i took dutifully and kept their secrets hidden from the world.

It was known to me that on the day of Hybrid Eclipse, Roshni would be claimed by a powerful Scarlet legend, once she reached her puberty.
And that is why I always told her that she were the chosen one, my dear!

That part of story was still known to everyone, and now it was safe with me and I knew roshni will be claimed by some legend but what was unknown to all was that Aadarsh had to play his part too in it's due time.

It was said that, once the chosen girl would be in danger, the boy will be her savior and he will transform into her Rakshak despite having blood from a nandingha!

And this is why may be Aadarsh transformed today!
His natural instinct must have alarmed him that Roshni is not safe with you all.
So he came here to rescue her!

And trust me, he has powers that none of you can match.
He is a half Singha and half Nandingha, as he got my husband's genes too......he is a very rare hybrid....Not just rare but one of it's kinds...!

And he is called as Nansingha!

And I am sure, you all saw how powerful and fierce he can be!
He is just like his grand father who was a warrior himself.
Brave as his father, who was a Rakshak.!
And loyal as his mother who sacrificed her own life for a promise that she made!

But why would he be loyal to us?? He had blood from Nandinghas!
Those bastards are never trustworthy! - Vijay roared

Grand ma cringed at his tone but spoke - Son, I know we committed crime but we repented our deeds. He may have blood from Nandinghas, from my late husband but I assure you he would not harm any one of you!
I have raised him better!
But yes, he needs training as you know this is his first time that he transformed.!

Besides, He is completely unaware of his purpose!
We need to train him to make sure he knows which side to choose!

He is very special and possesses many useful powers, that I am sure once his this side is out, we will have hard time from Nian!

He will do everything in his power to control his Nandsingha!

I know Roshni is safe here with her Scarlet legend but it is Aadarsh that is at danger!

He needs your guidance!
Please take him into your Prides, as he technically is your family! - she added and then became quite

Silence!
If anything could be heard at this time in that study room, was just Silence!

Do you think he is in his right mind to listen to us? - Vijay asked thinking

I... I can't say that I am sure but I would like to talk to him myself!
It's high time I revealed him the truth! - granny spoke firmly

Roshni watched Adhikshit with hopes that her brother gets a fair chance to choose the right side.
Both Adhikshit and Vijay exchanged their opinion through their telepathy and then finally spoke the Vijay Raj Singhal in all authority -

So it is set!
I will give your grand son a chance!
We will give him a training if chose us!
But if he failed us, remember that....I will make sure he dies for good!

Till then you both are our guests!

Roshni cried hearing him but Adhikshit held her by her shoulders and spoke softly -

Trust me Roshni!
No harm will come to Aadarsh if he is harmless!
Dad is a fair player!
I will handle the situation!

Roshni looked into his eyes and knew he meant every word.
She nodded and soon all dispersed to their respective chambers.

Finally, the day came to an End, hopefully bringing something positive tomorrow for all!
