"Meeting With The Mystery Guys"

Roshni's pov

God! This place is majestic and some of the parts of the university looked centuries old.
The architecture of the campus was screaming power and prosperity!

I looked at the students gathered inside the campus and I felt nervous.
I was scared to face the crowd but I was brave enough to fight back my insecurities.
People here didn't know me... And they don't need to know either.
I will not be fearful for the unknown!

So, I shook my head and smiled remembering my brother's words and took a fresh breath looking at the mighty building in front of me and walked towards the gate and my immediate attention went to the intricate shinning Lion Head emblem.

This was nothing new to our village but this particular one looked so fierce that I almost gulped in fear before stepping further. It had wings like an eagle and it's eyed were made up of Scarlet stones, something I have heard a lot many times in stories. The falling sun rays were making it look more real and It was haunting.

Suddenly the air around me changed and I felt a sudden chill inside my bones. I felt as if a particular cloud of magic and power surrounded me.

So, I bravely took a few steps further and I was in an open arena kind of place. The moment I looked up...i saw everyone looking at me for some weird reasons!

Then I looked around me...and, found myself in the middle of a basketball court, and there were a bunch of guys of about our age and a girl standing in full attention within a closed circle.

All the other students were looking at us from far with weird expression.

And I have no ideas, why!?!

What do you think you are doing here miss? - I heard a deep authoritative voice

I jerked up my head and Then my eyes met with a pair of brownish green eyes and I swear I hadn't seen anything like that before. This guy was the tallest amongst them with a perfect jawline...toned body... Just like the ones I read in many books.

His strong biceps were on full display from his t-shirt!

So, such guys do exist!

Like you have seen many people, huh! - Mocked my innerself

He asked you a question new Girl? - the girl asked coldly

Wait! How did they know I was a new girl! My brain started to give me alarms, I was now scared, what if they mock me!

What if they laugh upon my upbringing!

I gulped whatever saliva I had in my dry mouth and looked at the girl!

She was skinny but her features were made to kill!
She was staring right into my eyes as if reading my mind!

I lowered my face and spoke - I... I got lost in the views around me ....I am sorry!

Oh! Don't you panick pretty girl! It's Cool! - I heard another guy speak

Now, who was this handsome guy!?!
But he looks, younger!

Thank you! But I have heard that before too! - he spoke and chuckled looking at me!

Did he just hear me or what!
Why was he chuckling!
God! I feel conscious among these weird but handsome guys!

And then another girl suddenly pushed me away!

I fell on the ground yet balanced myself but heard her say - Such Low Lives!

Tears starter to pool inside my eyes.. And I looked at the mean girl!
And to my surprise she had a beautiful face for such a black heart.

The second guy gave her a glare and roared - Stop behaving like a Bitch Ahalya! And the girl named Ahalya, scoffed at me as if I was some dirt but the guy ignored her and gave me his hand to stand up and I heard gasps.
I hesitantly took his hand and I don't know if it was real or what!

But I found his hand real warm... Like really blazing warm!

The first girl said - Leave her hand A!
Are you mad???

The guy's eyes glared at her but he anyways left my hands and said - Welcome to the University, pretty girl!

The first guy again spoke - Listen Girl, go back to where you came from and try never to cross our path again!

And, I ran from there.....as fast as I could....clutching my bag...my heart was beating real fast...I did not see where I was going... Just kept running... And next thing I know, I was colliding with a rock!

Rock!?! In the middle of a corridor...!

Where was I??

What was this dark mysterious place??

And before I could fall, two strong arms encircled my waist and to my horror, it was a human!

A silhouette, I couldn't figure out the face!
But I will never forget those Black eyes!

It's like his eyes were shinning, even from inside those glasses he wore!
And that particular wild minty scent!
It made me feel dizzy!

Before I could comprehend anything, within a fraction he was standing afar!

How is that possible?

After a few steps, he turned around and spoke - You shouldn't be Here Roshni!

H...How...do... Y.. You.... Know... My Name??? - I stuttered in fear

I swear I saw his eyes shining again!
But he was gone!

Like a thin Air!

Did I actually see his eyes glowing???
Shut up Roshni!

You just hit your head... May be you are delusional!

Yeah! It Might be that! - I assured myself

But who was he? I couldn't see his face properly because of the darkness but his scent and his voice were marked on my brains.

And who were those guys outside?
Why were they so cold and unwelcoming?

I shrugged these thoughts away and looked at my surroundings and found it to be a gallery filled with portraits on it walls!

Royals! They were ancient royals!

I gulped looking at those scary faces.. Each one of them were authoritative and looked powerful!

This place is full of Mysteries!
I should better leave from here, I sighed and walked outside to look for my classes!

Little did Roshni know, that she was soon going to be related to these Royal Portraits, herself!
