Inside some kind of random library that could be found in the middle of the town of Vale, a certain individual could be seen sitting at one of the tables in said library, she was a young lady, around late teen years, she had black hair, amber hair, wore black and white clothing, and she wore a large bow on the top of her head, as if suspiciously hiding something underneath, though unimportant for now, her name was Blake Belladonna, and she was currently thinking deeply about something that made her very determined and hopeful in life, all the while reading a book that made her blush softly, 'Ninjas Of Love', smut no doubt

"Excuse me, do you know where the Faunus parenting book is?..."

Belladonna couldn't help but tense up a bit when she heard someone mention 'Faunus', but instantly calmed down once realizing what she was asked, which now made her confused as she then turned her head and went slightly eyes in surprise, because what she saw was a very, beyond exhausted, Ruby Rose, who was human, currently holding a young 1 year old, more or less, Faunus like child, Scarlet, in some kind of baby vest carrier, she was most certainly not expecting to see this in the library

"... It's down in the F section in the Biography and Culture aisle."

After a bit of comprehending what Blake was seeing, she decided not to say anything about it and simply replied to Rose's question and pointed in the direction of the place she was looking for

"Thank you…"

Tiredly Ruby thanked Belladonna before turning around and was about to leave to find what she was looking for, but before she could, she was quickly stopped by the same person she just questioned

"If you don't mind me asking, why are you looking for a 'Faunus Parenting' book? Are you his Mother?"

Blake couldn't help but genuinely be curious about the situation she was seeing, while also wanting to confirm that the deer looking Faunus boy was indeed Rose's child

"Yeah, he's my Son, and I love him very much and I would never regret having him, he makes my life so much happier with him existing~..."

Even if Ruby looked and sounded tired, she did not hesitate to show love and affection for Scarlet, hugging and nuzzling his cheeks, to which he returned the favor and nuzzled back, which made Belladonna smile to see

"However… I never had or dealt with a Faunus child before, this is all completely new to me… It's honestly very difficult…"

Ruby then sighs in slight defeat as she gently puts Scarlet back down in her carrier, Belladonna couldn't help but feel sympathetic for her, not only because she looked very young to even be a Mother, but also she was a human raising a Faunus child, she could already imagine all the hardship she was dealing with right now

"... I know how to raise a Faunus-"

"CAN YOU TEACH ME PLEASE! I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING AND I NEED HELP ON RAISING HIM, PLEEEASE!!!"

The librarian shush at Ruby, but she completely ignored the person as she gave Blake all of her attention and instantly started to desperately beg for help, which made said person chuckle lightly and nod without hesitation

"Of course, please have a seat with me and I'll tell you everything that I know."

Blake then closed her smutty book that she was reading and then scooted over a bit, offering Rose the spare seat right next to her, to which she accepts and sat down right beside her

"Now then, mind telling me what you need help with specifically?"

Once the two were comfortable being next to each other, Blake wasted no time asking questions and trying to figure out what Rose needed to know and do first

"I-I… Um… Well…"

Ruby then realized a bit too late why she needed help in the first place and couldn't help but be very worried about what she had to say to Belladonna, to which she noticed and decided to give her a reassuring gesture by placing a hand on her shoulder

"Don't worry, no matter what it is, I can-"

Before Blake could say something that could calm down Rose, Scarlet suddenly growled and didn't hesitate to bite the hand that touched his Mother, which startled the two, as one pulled their hand away from being bitten, while the other pulled away their Son from doing anymore harm to anyone

"I-I'M SORRY, SCARLET DIDN'T MEAN TO DO THAT, H-HE'S JUST VERY PROTECTIVE AND AND-"

Just as Ruby made sure Scarlet was far away from his next victim, while about to apologize profusely to the person he was just about to harm, Belladonna couldn't help but laugh about it, seemingly not bothered, or even very angry or scared, about nearly having her own hand nearly be bitten off, much to Rose's surprise

"Alright, alright, let me guess, he bit your family members and most definitely ate your pet, am I wrong?"

Blake seemed to have finally figured out the problem that Rose was having with her Faunus child, much to her extreme shock

"H-How did you know?..."

Ruby clearly didn't expect anyone to know about her problems with Scarlet and what happened with him

"It's actually quite common, believe it or not, especially when it comes to 'Carnivore Type' Faunuses, though honestly I didn't think your Son was a carnivore, given his deer horns."

Blake couldn't help but look closely at Scarlet with newfound interest and curiosity, instead of fear or hate, which only served to shock Rose even more so

"Is it common?"

However Ruby ignores the fact that Belladonna wasn't scared of her Son, and just continues to listen and question her

"Yes, very much so, I even got bitten a few times myself by a Crocodile Faunus, though luckily for me, they didn't have any sharp teeth, unlike your Son."

Blake mentioning and even sharing some of her experience with how normal and common it was for a baby Faunus to naturally attack and bite other people, was somewhat reassuring to Rose, since she now knows that she wasn't the only person going through this

"B-But why?"

However, despite the small amount of comfort Ruby was given, she still didn't understand the reason why her Son would even do this in the first place

"I, well… To put it bluntly, there is a reason why Faunuses are considered very different, and that isn't just having some animal features on their body."

Blake couldn't help but feel embarrassed when she mentioned that, which made Rose tilt her head when she noticed her expression, but she didn't get the chance to comment on it as she was suddenly startled by Belladonna putting her own finger in her mouth and biting it with enough force to make it bleed, after lowering her Aura shield of course

"H-Hey what are you doing?!-"

Before Ruby could question why Belladonna hurt herself, or even stop her from bringing her bloody finger to her Son, she couldn't help but interrupt herself when she noticed something she hadn't seen before, which was Scarlet not attacking the offending bleeding finger, not only that, but he also seemed to look and sniff at it, before licking it and starting to suck on it, without completely biting the entire thing off, Rose was beyond shock to see this

"Just like a normal human baby, they are born with a lack of understanding of the world they're living in and how it works, however unlike a human, a Faunus child has to rely on their own animalistic side of themselves to even comprehend and, "Survive", in the world they're in."

While Blake seemingly just offered herself to Scarlet, to which he accepted without hesitation, she continues explaining to Rose about the biology and mindset of a Faunus when they are born

"Survive?"

"It's not literal, it just means that all your Son cares about at this moment, is himself and you, his Mother, it's the only thing that he, and all the newborn Faunuses, can understand."

The more that Blake explained, the more Ruby started to understand and how much it made sense to her, now knowing the reason why Scarlet is acting the way that he does, she honestly couldn't help but feel less burdened with the lack of knowledge of how to raise her own child

"But why did you bite your finger and feed my Son with your blood?"

Though despite knowing more, Ruby was still lacking some information that could help her raise Scarlet, not to mention she was still confused about why Belladonna did what she did

"Since your Son is, no offense, more animal than child at the moment, he will continue to act as such, which means being very territorial and protecting what he deems as 'His', you could even say he even sees himself as some sort of 'King'."

When Blake mentioned the word 'King', Scarlet couldn't help but suddenly let go of her finger and looked at her with a smile, which made Rose gasp

"Aww, do you like being called that, 'Scarlet King'?~"

Ruby then started to coo and gently tickle under his chin, all the while calling him the 'Scarlet King', which actually made him smile and giggle, which made Belladonna chuckle to see the Mother and Son smile together in such a way

"Heh, but yeah, to put it simply, in order to make him be less hostile, then just make him see the people you don't want him to bite as 'His', either by feeding him what he likes, or, well, from what I just saw, simply recognizing him as their 'Scarlet King', as you put it."

Blake then used her Aura to fix her bleeding finger before using it again to gently pet the Scarlet King's head, to which he did not bite this time and even nuzzled back against such a finger, which made Rose very happy to see

"Thank you… Thank You So Very Much!~"

Ruby quickly hugs Belladonna, much to her surprise, but just smiles in response and pats her back

"You Have No Idea How Helpful You've Been, You Even Made Scarlet Smile, I Never Saw Him Smile Before!~... I'm just happy, I'm just so happy~…"

Ruby then suddenly passed out in the arms of Belladonna, clearly after being stressed and unable to relax for so long, before having all of her burden removed from her conversation with the person that helped her so much, she was able to calm down completely and make her heart feel less heavy with confusion, resulting in being able to sleep, something she was clearly denied for so long

"Ah, it seems you did a lot to your Mother, isn't that right 'Scarlet King', hm?~"

Blake moved Rose in a position that was more comfortable, while also not squeezing her Son's body against her body, she lets out a sigh and looked down at the one she was now calling 'Scarlet King', which just continues to make him smile, which also made her smile as well

'Heh… I wonder…'

Blake's smile fades as she reached the top of her head and gently touches the bow that was on her, letting out a small thoughtful hum before shaking her head and focusing back on the situation she was now left with

"Well, I guess I should find a way to send you both back home, huh?"

Blake rubs her chin as she thinks for a moment on how to help Ruby and Scarlet King return back home, after a bit, she then just reached into Rose's pocket and pulled out her scroll, turning it on and realized that it was unlocked

"Well aren't I lucky, she really needs to put a lock on her scroll."

As Blake Belladonna continued to mess around with the scroll and figure out who she should call to pick up Ruby Rose, all the while keeping her Son entrained and calm, unknowingly to her, at the back of her neck, a certain symbol started to form and be permanently made on her, as if she was suddenly branded by a certain someone as their property, however she didn't and just found someone to call and was now waiting for someone to answer her, all while having a thought that made her look back Ruby

'Hm… I wonder if we'll become friends after this?...'

Oh my, Blake Belladonna accidentally sold her Soul and even help make the name of the 'Scarlet King', how unfortunate hehe~
(BTW, even though Scarlet King isn't actually a Faunus, I still wanted to add some 'Faunus Biological Lore' in the story, plus I'm sure it would still somewhat apply to our beloved Lord of Hate and Evil, hehe~)
