"Good morning Scarlet~..."

It was early in the morning Ruby has just woken up from her exhausting rest, and the first thing she does is look at her son, who was in her arms, clearly the two slept together in bed, she smiles lightly and gently rubs his cheeks, he didn't react to the touch, nor was it hard to tell if he was even awake, but it didn't matter to much to her, quickly she got up from her bed and decided to head to the bathroom to freshen herself up, luckily she was able to recover very quickly thanks to her 'Aura', though was still feeling a little sore and slight pains, but nothing she couldn't handle, the first thing she does was removing the diaper and got ready to clean him, though much to her surprised, there wasn't any mess that was needed to be clean

'Huh… I guess he hasn't gone yet? Or maybe I didn't feed him enough?...'

For now Ruby wasn't too freaked out or worried about seeing her Son so clean, she was actually a little glad to know that there wasn't a mess she needed to clean yet, but she will be more careful and watchful, maybe even talked to her doctor if this happens enough time

"Well even if you don't go potty, it doesn't mean you're not a stinker~"

Ruby smiles and teasingly boops Scarlet nose, again he didn't react, but did move slightly from having his nose poked

"Oh now you're awake, lazy butt~"

Ruby giggles, soon after undressing and pulling out a bathtub chair or stool to sit on, she turns on the shower head, on light mode with warm water, she begins to clean herself and her child, she hums a soft song while carefully cleaning her baby's body, she even made sure his horns were completely spotless and shiny

"I'm still surprised your horns didn't rip open my insides."

Ruby then picks up Scarlet and held him at eye to eye level, well if he had any eyes, which still didn't bother his Mother at all

"But seeing as you're the calmest baby ever, I guess I should be glad that you hardly ever kicked as much when you were in my belly~"

Ruby nuzzles her child cheeks, who just lets it happen and did nothing to either show acceptance or rejection, she then pulls away and looks back at his horns, letting out a small hum as she gently pokes at its tip

"I probably need to make sure they don't grow too big or sharp though…"

After feeling more clean and smelling more fresher, both Ruby and her Son got out of the shower, dried up a bit, and then wore some comfy PJs, even though she was more or less fully healed, she was still recovering and couldn't go back to school yet, though not like she wanted to yet anyway, she just gave birth not to long ago, wasn't ready to split apart from her child just yet

"Hi Sis, did you sleep well?"

At the kitchen dining room, with some breakfast on the table, Yang Xiao Long, as well as Tai Xiao Long and Qrow Branwen, could be seen eating together and were clearly enjoying each other company, to which the Red Riding Hood wasted no time joining

"Mhm, I feel completely refreshed, though I did have some nightmares, but I honestly don't remember them."

Ruby felt really good, again a little tired and sore, but she felt energetic and happy enough to enjoy today like any other day

"I'm a bit envious Ruby, I remember that me and your mom always woke up tired because someone decided to cry all night, whether to be changed or just wanted some attention."

Tai couldn't help but chuckle from that memory, even if it was the most tiring part of his life, he couldn't help but remember back to it with such fondness and nostalgic

"Really? She was always a quiet little angel to me?"

Qrow can't remember a time like that happening before

"You were probably out working or was too drunk to remember~"

Yang teased as she ate some of her eggs and bacon, the Uncle just shrugs and decided to prove her point by drinking out of his flask

"I-I wasn't that bad!"

Ruby puffs her cheeks, she then reached over and was about to grab herself a plate, but stopped when felt and saw Scarlet trying to nibble her shirt, which was near her chest area

"Ok, you can have breakfast first~..."

Ruby giggles as she started to prepare for her Son's feeding, her Father and Uncle turn their heads away slightly, clearly not wanting to sneak any peaks, though her older Sister just smiles at this as she watches her younger sibling act like such a caring mother

'She will definitely be better than… 'HER'...'

Soon after breakfast, Tai and Qrow had to leave to do some work, which left the two siblings alone together, and since they were together, they wasted no time hanging out with one another, more specifically, they wasted no time playing with Scarlet, Yang did her usual stick of acting like the big, goofy and loveable big sister, or in this case, a silly aunt, the blonde gave all her attention to her baby nephew, whether it be making silly faces, being tickled attacked, showering him with lots of toys that she bought for him, or just make a tons of puns and show off why she was the so called 'Funny Person'

"I'm sorry to say this Sis, but I think you gave birth to another you…"

Yang pouts when she noticed that Scarlet did not react to anything that she has done, he didn't even give her any attention at all, he just calmly sat on his mother lap and just did nothing

"Maybe he thinks your puns sucks to, isn't that right my cutie patootie, she's not a funny person, no she isn't, no she isn't?~"

Ruby gently pets her Son's head, who still didn't react to it, but his mother was satisfied that he didn't reject her petting

"You two have no sense of humor!"

Yang sticks her tongue out at them, as she started poking Scarlet cheeks, to which made him respond to her this time, unfortunately the time of reaction she got was a gentle bite on her finger

"OW! Mother Fu-HM!"

Yang managed to stop herself from cursing in front of Scarlet, but she still backed away and held her finger in pain, which startled Rose and looked at Xiao Long in concern

"Are you ok?!"

Ruby was confused, not knowing why she reacted in such a way

"HM! I'm fine! Scarlet just bit me, that's all, I think he's teething already."

When Yang said this, her Lil Sis quickly checked her Son's mouth and looked inside it, gasping excitedly

"He is! Wow! He's developing so fast!~"

Ruby was so happy to know that she has a very healthy child, so healthy that he was already growing teeth, even if they look suspiciously sharp

"Do all Faunus's newborns develop this fast? I don't know if I should be bad or feel bad for them."

Yang managed to calm down after a bit, the pain was still enough to make her wince, but she wasn't someone who would be taken out that easily from such a minor thing

"I need my Scroll, I wanna take a picture of everything that's new for him and me, I'm never forgetting his first of everything!~"

Ruby then got up, holding her Son very closely, and started to run off and look for her Scroll, or anything else that would allow her to take pictures of Scarlet and everything he would soon go through, Yang just watch her sibling leave the room, before looking down at her own finger that was bitten, she couldn't help but look surprised from how badly the newborn injured her, bleeding non stop and could even see bone in the very deep cut

"How did he even get past my Aura?..."

I'm well versed in the Scarlet King, or the Scarlet Emperor, however you like to call him, but any extra info would be nice, like does he have any personal rivals, people he likes, or someone who is somewhat equal in power, also there's things to consider abilities, personalities and all personal things he likes and dislikes? Anything like that would be nice twank u wuv u~

(Weird question, do you think I should introduce Blake Belladonna early? I know Scarlet isn't really a Faunus, but I'm sure that Ruby and the others would really appreciate having an expert help them)
