(Unknown POV)

I didn't know my whole life will change that day. It was that day when my dad died and after 8 years of that incident, I got the chance to avenge him.

That day was the day that shouldn't have happened at all. This world didn't approve of my dad's ideas that led to his death.

I know no one accepts anyone's idea as long as they are rich or popular but if only they listened maybe the world would be different maybe he would have been alive and not that only he would have been popular too not the great William Modena. He is a thief; he stole my dad's idea and life.

They said it was suicide but to me it was murder. The people killed him. He killed him.

If it wasn't for that visitor I wouldn't have known it. I would still be living in darkness and lies.

It should have been another normal day for me.

I would wake up, go to school, and come back home, do homework, do some extra stuff, and then back to sleep but not that day.

As when I woke up that day I found myself in darkness and it was strange because I always leave a light open as I am afraid of darkness.

Darkness reminds me of my life which is dark as hell. If hell is dark that is.

Well, when I tried to see anything, it was impossible to see anything. I couldn't even see my hands.

But then suddenly I heard a voice and it gave me chills. I was scared as hell. But still, I managed to speak "who is there? Listen, I know karate, and u don't want a broken bone I bet so it's the best to show yourself."

Then I heard a strange noise and light. But my focus was not on the light but the shadow who I assume is my kidnapper.

He was well built I won't deny that. But if it takes to beat the shit out of him to run then I am in a huge mess because I know I won't stand a chance against him.

He started saying and it was the same voice that gave me chills. "Listen, girl, I am here to give you an offer. You want revenge, don't you? You want to avenge your father and I will help you with that but for that, you have to help me in return. It's a simple give and take relation. You can answer later to that. Take your time to think. I will give you 2 days not more than that. But remember you can't say anything about this to anyone, not even your Mother. The task is easy and I will explain everything after getting your answer, there's no hurry. And to think clearly here's a gift. "

A gift?? Task?? What he is taskmaster?  Wait isn't taskmaster a villain. And how come he knows about my father. And the most important question who the fucking hell is he??????

Before I could think more about anything a ball of light emerged from his palm illuminating the room.

Now I can see that I m in some sort of a basement or something. Whatever it is I can see that it's old, rusty and dusty.

And now I can even see the mystery man. As I said earlier he is well built. But that's not what caught my attention but it was the scar that ran along his jaw.

I still couldn't see his eyes as I was focusing to decipher his eyes and the ball of light entered my body. And yes I said that IT ENTERED MY BODY. Holy fuck!!!

I was touching mu body where it entered and was going to shout at that man whose name I still don't know.

But he beat me by saying "This is a little gift which will help you in avenging your father but remember you only have 2 days not more than that. I understand you have many questions but right now it's not the time for answers. You will get all the answers in 2 days when you have decided."

OKAY... So this nameless person gave me light as a gift and wants to meet me, wait how will I meet him again? He didn't even mention his name or anything at all except that stupid deal.

So I asked "Umm... Listen Mr. Taskmaster can u at least tell me your name and how will I meet you again? I don't remember the address..."

Did I annoy him? Meh, who cares!

"Girl, you don't have to worry about that and my name is not taskmaster, it's Zaracha " Mr. Taskmaster or zaracha replied.

After saying this there was a bright flash and I was back in my room...

Was I dreaming? No, it can't be. And Mr. Taskmaster aka Zaracha is waiting for my reply for something and I have no clue for what? Say yes to deal or no. And if I said no will he hurt me?

OH GOD!! What now?

What should I do??

I have decided one thing for sure that I will call him taskmaster as he has a task for me. Wait he didn't even tell me what I have to decide in those 2 days?

I know only one thing that he sure as hell can hurt my friends and family and I can't lose anyone so this all should be a secret.

What have I gotten myself into??
