Era's POV
As I opened my eyesockets, I noticed the beautiful sunrise outside my window. The colors were mixing together beautifully before my eyelights. While the morning was beautiful, I had a sneaking suspicion that something interesting might happen. I had been right so far. I grabbed my glasses of the table along with my watch. Once I put the glasses on, I decided to check the time. It was around 6:53 am. Blaze was beginning to wake up by my feet, stretching his paws out. He opened his muzzle and let out a loud yawn. I asked him to move my wheelchair over to my bed. He hopped out of bed and moved it over to me. I carefully lifted my body up with my arms and set myself down. I rolled my chair over to my window again to see the colors rising and birds flying. This was one of the things I had missed so much during my time as the destroyer. I know that I had never wanted to be the destroyer, but without all that pain I might have never met swap, nightmare, or the gang. I just wish that the "goods" had known or listened to why I had my job. Well it's kinda to late to think about that now. All I can do is focus on healing. Suddenly a knock at the door pulls me out of my thoughts. I said to come in and in came a nurse with a breakfast tray. I checked my watch and saw that it was 7:26 am, breakfast time. On the tray was two pancakes, scrambled eggs, and warm bacon. This looked so delicious. As I was eating Mutt came into the room with a bag of dog food for Blaze. Mutt opened the bag up and place 1 1/2 cups of food into Blaze's food bowl. Blaze left my side and started to devour his breakfast. Mutt then moved towards me and signaled he wanted to talk with me.

Mutt,"Okay Era, today we have some people that we would like to introduce you to. They are very nice and won't hurt you."

I responded,"Alright I would like to meet them as long as you and the others stay near me."

Mutt and I continued to talk for around an hour or two. The other guys came into the room soon after we had finished our talk. They said that they had gotten permission to take me out of the hospital to explore the city safely. They had done this because of my little trip last night. I couldn't complain though, this was gonna be fun. I asked the guys to leave the room so I could get dressed. They looked confused at where I kept more clothes at but they agreed. Once they were out I opened my bag to look for what I wanted to wear. I found a navy blue dress with light purple flowers . It had sleeves that went a little ways below my elbow and a skirt that was half way below my knees. I carefully took of my pale red hospital gown off and placed it on the bed. I slipped my dress over my head and pulled it over my stomach. I then smoothed out my dress over my legs and had Blaze grab his service dog harness. I put Blaze's harness on and called the guys to open the door. We all began to head towards the building's entrance to get to the car the guys brought. Once we got outside I saw Lazulite drive the car up to us. Lazulite opened the car trunk and had the others get in. Kindness picked me up out of my wheelchair and put me into a seat in the car. Blaze got into the car after me and sat beside me. Kindness had folded up my wheelchair and placed into the trunk. And off we went on our adventure of the city. The city was brimming with life, people walking on all the sidewalks and cars driving through full streets. I was watching the path we were taking and putting it into my long term memory. We arrived at a large park around 9:41 am. Lazulite parked the car near a large cherry blossom tree and everyone began to leave the car. Gast got my wheelchair out of the trunk and unfolded it. Gast then lifted me up to set me into my wheelchair. Blaze jumped out of the car after me and we began our trek around the park. We were walking towards an oak tree were a large group of people were sitting down with their children. There was a large amount of food on plastic tables along with many large blankets dotted around the ground.
As we approached the people they turned towards us and stopped their conversations. Once we got close the people came up to us and surrounded us. Blaze began to get closer to me, feeling my anxiety towards all the people around us. Blaze signaled the people to back up with light growls. The new people understood and backed up away from me. Once they had moved away from me I began to think of who they reminded me of. I saw humans that looked like Toriels, Asgores, Undynes, Alphyses, Mettatons, charas, frisks, and Asriels. Know that I looked at them I began to feel less afraid of them because most of them never hurt me, especially the ruin keepers of the group. I decided to introduce myself to them.
Era,"Hello everyone, my name is Era Lestro the skeleton."

I am to lazy to write the all introducing themselves so there will be lists. This will be long and many names will be bad.

Once they all introduced themselves, we broke apart to eat. We were having a brunch picnic at 10:49 am. It took so long for all the introductions. All the food looked so delicious. I decided to eat a strawberry crepe and a fruit salad. I got Blaze some sausages with some bits of steak. Once I got our food, we moved over to sit underneath the oak tree. I used my magic to place Blaze's food on the ground and we began to eat. We were watching to group of adults sit and chat while the children played. It reminded me of the large festivals we used to have in my home. Once I finished my crepe the children came over as I began to eat my salad. I was completely calm around the children, especially the charas and frisks.
Duke,"Excuse me miss Era, would you mind playing with us? You look kinda lonely."
I said no because of my condition. All the children looked so upset when I said this. However I had another idea that they may like. I summoned my strings and took out some of my puppets. I said that even though I couldn't play with them, that I could still tell them a story with my puppets. They agreed and I began my story.
Long ago there was a meeting between the monster and human factions along with the creature rulers. The human/monster factions believed that the animals should join in an alliance with them. However the creatures believed that the other factions only wanted this alliance to gain power. So the creatures refused and left the meeting. The humans and monsters believed that eachother had caused the creatures to leave. Both factions began to argue and fight with eachother. After hundreds of years of hatred between the monsters and humans, a human and monster secretly wed eachother. The human mother fell pregnant with a hybrid child. She and her monster husband feared for the safety of their child. So they ran and hid inside of a secret village where humans and monsters lived together peacefully. They arrived there and they were met with open arms. Months later the mother gave birth to her little baby. The baby had horns and a tail like her father but a human appearance.The baby was a little girl who was born extremely weak and sick. The doctors believed that she would not survive that day. Her parents began to mourn the coming loss of their child. But suddenly a bright light shown through the room. When the light faded,there stood the creature rulers. They had heard of the child and wished to ser her. But instead of happiness, all they saw was sadness.
The bird king asked,"Why are you sad at the birth of your child? What has caused this sadness?"
The father answered,"The doctors say that she will not survive the day! We will never get to see her grow up!"
The creature rulers shared a look with eachother. They turned to all those in the room and the Dragon queen moved to speak.

Dragon queen,"We know a way for your child to live. She shall bond with a month old lion cub. This cub shall give her strength to live. But know this, if one died then the other will suffer greatly or die."

The parents shared a look and agreed to this. The rulers then brought in the lion cub along with his parents. When the lion couple heard of the family's plight and agreed. The gorilla king took the cub in his arms and brought him over to the child. The creature rulers then began to chant a magical spell and the two young ones gained a shared mark. The baby girl then began to cry loudly no longer quiet and still. All the people in the room rejoiced but the creatures had another idea in their heads. They decided to speak it out in unison.

"We have decided to give all humans and monsters a creature companion. That way all those in the world will know of the bond and none will be stronger than the other race."

With that another light shined out in the room and around the world. Both factions that day got their own partners and felt greater love for each other. This is how all monsters and humans gained their partners."

The children all clapped as the story ended. They decided to ask more questions about me and the story. A answered each question with happiness and love. So far this day had been amazing. The children then told me that the other adults had been listening to the story. I was glad that everyone had enjoyed it. I can't wait to see how the rest of the day will unfold.
