As Pan and the new Argonauts prepared to face Xerxos, the leader of the Blacktongues shows no concern as he begins to laugh.

Xerxos: You have already failed, Satyr. Soon, we will amass an army that even Olympus cannot stand against. We will boil Posieden's sea. We will rip the Lightning from Zeus's quivering hand. All temples of the Olympian Gods shall be reduced to rubble and the rubble reduced to hand. Soon, Hecate shall claim her rightful place as ruler of Heaven, Earth and Tartarus. 

Pan: Not if we have anything to say about that. 

Bakugo: I've about had enough of this asshole! I'm taking him out!

Without warning, Bakugo charges at Xerxos and attempts to take him down. Bakugo doesn't make it far as Xerxos grips Bakugo with dark magic. 

Xerxos: How disappointing, Katsuki Bakugo. You should've joined me when you had the chance. You could've been one of Hecate's greatest champions. But you have chosen death. 

As Xerxos prepared to kill Bakugo, Pan and the Argonauts attacked Xerxos, forcing the Blacktongue leader to fall back. As Xerxos defended himself against his attackers, Xerxos became annoyed. 

Xerxos: You children have interfered in my affairs for long enough. 

Midoriya: We won't let you win!

Xerxos: Cling to your foolish ideals. They will not save you from what is to come. 

Pan: And that will be your downfall, Xerxos. You continuously underestimate these future Heroes. Like the Argonauts you attempted to enslave, these Heroes will be the vanguards of all that is good in the world! They will defeat you and the Blacktongues!

As Pan said this, Xerxos simply laughed. 

Xerxos: You cannot destroy us. We are Hecate's chosen servants! King Lycomedes tried to destroy us and failed! Jason tried to destroy us and failed! What makes you think you and this weak society of Heroes will destroy us?

Pan: They say the third time is the charm. Argonauts! Prepare for battle!

With that, Pan and Talia used their magic to empower the Argonauts. Bakugo and Kirishima charged at Xerxos. The Blacktongue leader was initially caught off guard but their boost in power, but he was able to hold his own. Yaoyorozu then throws the Spear Of Virtue at Xerxos, but Xerxos catches it with his hand. 

Xerxos: The Spear Of Virtue. So you have been named Athena's lapdog. You will soon know paradise. 

Xerxos lunges at Yaoyorozu and attacks her with the Spear Of Virtue. Jiro jumps to Yaoyorozu's aid as Bakugo and Kirishima attempts to jump him. In response, Xerxos unleashes a shockwave of dark energy which blasts everyone back. As everyone slowly recovered from the attack, Xerxos lunges at Yaoyorozu and grabs her by the throat. She attempts to fight back, but Xerxos's tightens his grip on her. 

Xerxos: You and your companions have made a fatal error. By declaring yourself an enemy of the Blacktongues, you sentence yourself to death. Now you will know paradise. 

Suddenly, Xerxos was attacked by Midoriya. This forces the Blacktongue to let go of Yaoyorozu. Midoriya then activates Shoot Style to combat Xerxos's magic. As Midoriya attacks Xerxos, Xerxos gains the upper hand and puts Midoriya on the defensive. 

Xerxos: Why do you fight when there is no hope?

Midoriya: Because that's what Heroes do!

Xerxos: You have been deceived by fools, boy. There is no hope for those who stand against the will of Hecate!

As Midoriya held his ground against Xerxos, Pan and Talia recovered. Talia was in shock at how powerful Xerxos was. 

Talia: I've...I've never seen such power before....how can we defeat him?

Pan: The only way we can. Together. Even someone as powerful as he is, Xerxos cannot stand against a united front. 

With that, Pan telepathically communicated the plan to everyone, including Midoriya. As Pan set the plan in motion, Talia began to use her Siren Quirk to try and put him under her trance. For a brief moment, Xerxos was stunned. 

Bakugo: TIME TO DIE, YOU BASTARD!

Bakugo unleashes a powerful explosion on Xerxos just as Midoriya got out of the way. Kirishima then charged into the explosion with his Hardening Quirk activated and lands a series of power strikes on Xerxos. When the smoke cleared, Yaoyorozu and Jiro closed in and launched a coordinated attack on him with Yaoyorozu attacking Xerxos with the Spear Of Virtue and Jiro attacking him with her Earphone Jacks. During the assault, Midoriya closed in and hits Xerxos with a 5% Detroit Smash. The force of the attack sends Xerxos crashing through a wall. Pan and Talia soon attack Xerxos with a barrage of magic. Soon enough, Xerxos was on his knees. 

Xerxos: You...you cannot stop what has already happened! I am Hecate's chosen discple! In her name, I will end this society!

Pan: It's over, Xerxos. You cannot win. 

Xerxos: There is much you still do not understand, Satyr. No matter what you do, the Blacktongues shall always rise!

Xerxos soon began to speak an incantation. His tattoos began to glow as his body began to contort. Soon enough, his body began to transform into a monstrous form that gave him the appearance of a Tartarus Fiend. 

Xerxos: Now you will face a true servant of Hecate! 

As Xerxos transformed into his monstrous form, Pan and the Argonauts now had to face against a monstrous version of Xerxos. Despite this, Pan and the Argonauts were not about to give up now. They would fight Xerxos with everything they have or die trying.
