As Pan and the new Argonauts came face to face with the empowered Xerxos, they launched a coordinated attack against the Blacktongue leader. However, they were quickly overpowered by Xerxos. He unleashes a wave of black magic on the Heroes, but Pan was able to use the magic of his staff to form a protective barrier over the Heroes. Without a moment to rest, Xerxos broke through the protective barrier without trouble. Bakugo uses his Explosion Quirk to launch himself at Xerxos.

Bakugo: DIE, YOU BASTARD!

Before Bakugo could react, Xerxos halted Bakugo's attack and grabbed him by the skull.

Xerxos: You should've joined me when you had the chance, Katsuki Bakugo.

Xerxos continued his assault on Pan and the new Argonauts. Their fights with Xerxos's generals and the reanimated Argonauts as well as the original fight with Xerxos himself had pushed them to their absolute limit. Soon enough, Xerxos blasted them through the doors to the Sports Festival Stadium and into the arena. As Pan and the new Argonauts slowly got back to their feet, Xerxos walked into the stadium. He looked around and could see all the students who were evacuated here. 

Xerxos: STUDENTS OF UA! LOOK UPON YOUR SO CALLED HEROES! AS WE SPEAK, THE BLACKTONGUE SWARM YOUR SCHOOL! SOON, ALL SHALL BE SACRIFICED IN THE NAME OF HECATE! TO THOSE WHO WILL STAND AGAINST ME, THIS FATE SHALL FALL UPON YOU!

As Xerxos gloated to the UA students, everyone watched, including Shoji. Shoji clenched his fists in frustration. As he was about to jump down their, Iida intervenes. 

Iida: We cannot intervene!

Shoji: But Talia and the others are down there! I have to do something!

Iida: There's nothing any of us can do. We'd only get in the way. 

Tokoyami: I know you want to help them. I'd rather be down there taking the fight to the Blacktongues, but we have to trust in our friends. Pan is down there with them. Even if Pan wasn't down there, I have faith that they will defeat this Blacktongue.

Despite wanting to help both his girlfriend and his friends, Shoji listened to the words of his closest friend and does not intervene. Meanwhile, Xerxos continues to taunt Pan and the new Argonauts. 

Xerxos: You are beaten, Satyr. As we speak, the forces of Tartarus are swarming the halls of this school. All shall be sacrificed in the name of Hecate. But know this, Satyr. You will die last. You will watch as I destroy all that you love. 

Pan: As long as I still draw breath....I will stand against all evil who threaten the peace and stability of this world! You and your Blacktongues have lingered in this world long enough!

Xerxos: You think you can destroy us? Ha! It is too late, Satyr. Like the Iolcan King, you will fail for the Blacktongues shall always rise from the darkness!

Pan: That may be true, but there will always be Heroes ready to stand against you. 

As Pan said this, the new Argonauts slowly got to their feet. A fire had ignited inside them. It was in that moment that the new Argonauts found the strength to keep on fighting. 

Pan: Your evil has cursed this world long enough!

Xerxos: Very well, Satyr. I will break you. All that you have built will be burned to ashes in the glory of Hecate!

Pan: Not if I have anything to say about it!

With that, Pan unleashed the power of his staff as a bright light engulfed the entire stadium. 

Pan: Oh mighty Gods of Olympus! I call upon thee to grant me the means to ending this great evil which now walks on this world!

As Pan spoke the words, the new Argonauts were hit by rays of light. Suddenly, the new Argonauts were empowered by the Gods of Olympus themselves. As the new Argonauts were empowered by the Gods of Olympus, they took the fight to Xerxos. 

Midoriya: We won't let you win! 

Xerxos: Insolent child! The will of Hecate cannot be denied!

Bakugo: Like any of us give a flying fuck about that Hecate bitch! 

Kirishima: If she really wants this world, why don't she take it herself! Seems like she has no problem sending a bunch of goons to do her dirty work!

Xerxos: No! I am her chosen disciple! Hecate has chosen me to lead her armies!

Yaoyorozu: You've been manipulated! Hecate doesn't care about you!

Jiro: You're just her puppet! 

Hearing this enraged Xerxos as he continues to attack Pan and the new Argonauts. However, the Heroes gain the upper hand on the Blacktongue leader. 

Xerxos: N....no! This cannot be! I...I will bring the glory of Hecate to the world! 

Pan: You chose the wrong woman to love, Xerxos. Your evil ends now!

In a last ditch effort to kill Pan as well as all the UA students in the Sports Festival, he attempts to begin a ritual. However, his body began to decay. 

Xerxos: N...no! Not now! Not now!

Pan: Your evil has finally consumed you. 

Xerxos: IF I MUST DIE! YOU WILL DIE WITH ME! YOU ALL SHALL DIE WITH ME! IN THE NAME OF HECATE, I WILL CAST YOU ALL INTO THE PARADISE OF TARTARUS!

Knowing what Xerxos was about to do, Pan encased Xerxos's body in a protective barrier as Xerxos's body exploded into a magic energy. As Xerxos's died, the blowback from his death sent shockwaves throughout the Blacktongue ranks. The portals to Tartarus were closed. All Tartarus Fiends were destroyed. With their leader dead, most of the Blacktongues scattered into the darkness. Those who remained were promptly taken down by the Pro Heroes. In that moment, the Blacktongues were at last defeated.
