As Pan and the new Argonauts were locked in deadly combat against the reanimated original Argonauts. Under the influence of Xerxos's magic, the original Argonauts were forced to follow his commands. The new Argonauts quickly found out why the original Argonauts were the greatest heroes of their time.

Bakugo: God fucking damnit! These bastards aren't fucking around!

Pan: You are facing the greatest heroes of the ancient world. But while they are under the control of that vile villain, they are a danger.

As Pan said that, the reanimated Hercules charged at the group. Kirishima jumped in and wrestled Hercules.

Kirishima: Not so fast, Hercules! Let's see who's the strongest!

Empowered by the Pelt of the Nemean Lion, Kirishima was able to hold his own again the mighty Hercules. Atalanta soon begins firing arrows at the group, but Pan shielded them with a magic barrier. However, Jason and Achilles closed in on Pan. Midoriya and Bakugo jump in and attack the two with Midoriya fighting Jason and Bakugo fighting Achilles. Xerxos watched with satisfaction as Pan battled against his former comrades. During the engagement, Yaoyorozu and Jiro found themselves facing off against Atalanta. Yaoyorozu summoned the Spear of Athena with her Creation Quirk. 

Jiro: This is seriously bad, Yaomomo! If half the stories I heard about Atalanta are true, then that bow is gonna cause us some problems!

As Jiro said this, Atalanta fires her bow at Yaoyorozu, but Jiro was able to push her out of the way. Meanwhile, Bakugo was fighting against Achilles. For Bakugo, this was his chance to prove himself.

Bakugo: All right, you undead asshole! They say you were the greatest warrior to have ever lived. I'm here to show you that you've been fucking replaced!

Bakugo then unleashes powerful explosions onto Achilles, but the undead warrior was able to dodge the explosions and close in on Bakugo. Bakugo holds his own against Achilles. Meanwhile, Midoriya finds himself face to face with the former leader of the Argonauts. 

Midoriya: I'm sorry this happened to you, Jason. A Hero like you doesn't deserve this. 

Jason said nothing as he charged at Midoriya and began swinging his sword. Midoriya was able to block his attacks with his retractable shield. Midoriya then activates One For All: Full Cowling and attacks Jason. As the two incarnations of the Argonauts clashed, Pan and Talia spoke.

Talia: We...we have to help them!

Pan: And we shall. I need your help. 

Talia: What must I do?

Pan: We need to break Xerxos's hold over the Argonauts. That is the only way we can set them free. 

Talia: What do we need to do. 

Pan: I will begin a ritual that will weaken the Argonauts to the point where our friends can handle to rest. In order for the ritual to work, we must combine our efforts. I will set up a protective barrier to protect us, but we must move quickly. 

Talia: I'm ready. 

With that, Pan used his magic to summon a protective barrier around himself and Talia. Once the barrier was set up, Pan and Talia began the ritual. Meanwhile, the new Argonauts found themselves in a stalemate against the original. 

Kirishima: Man these guys don't know when to quit!

Bakugo: Oh I'm make these bastards quit! I'll send their asses back to hell! 

Midoriya glanced over to see Pan and Talia performing the ritual. The reanimated Argonauts then focused their attention on the magic barrier. 

Midoriya: We have to keep their attention on us!

Without hesitation, the new Argonauts attacked the reanimated Argonauts, buying Pan and Talia the time needed to complete the ritual. When the ritual was completed, a bright light shot out from the barrier and clung to the original Argonauts. They all screamed as they were freed from Xerxos's control. They soon collapsed and their spirits emerged. 

Jason: Thank you, Argonauts. Thanks to you, we are free to rest once more. 

Pan: Go now, my friends. Rest. 

Atalanta: May Hermes grant you wisdom. 

Achilles: May your battles be glorious! 

Hercules: May your adventures give you fulfilment. 

Jason: And my the Gods favor you on your journey. 

In that moment, the spirits of the Argonauts were freed from Xerxos's influence. Their reanimated bodies crumbled to dust. Pan couldn't help but weep at this sight. But this moment was interrupted by Xerxos. 

Xerxos: This is most unfortunate. The Argonauts were meant to kill you. Still, I should be grateful. Now I have the chance to kill you myself.

As Xerxos approached the Argonauts, Pan and the Argonauts readied themselves for battle. 

Pan: This madness has gone on long enough! It is time you answered for your countless crimes against this world! I will see to it that the Blacktongues are defeated for all time! I will finish what Jason started all those centuries ago!

Xerxos: When will you accept reality? It's over. I've already won. It is only a matter of time until UA falls. 

Pan: That is where you are wrong. As long as I stand, your evil will never rise! Not only that, but I am not alone! 

With that, Pan and the Argonauts prepared for the final battle against Xerxos. After facing Hecate's Champions and the reanimated Argonauts, Pan and the Argonauts were now face to face with Xerxos. With the Blacktongue invasion of UA reaching it's climax, Pan and the Argonauts were ready to fight Xerxos with the intention of ending the Blacktongue threat once and for all.
