Y/n glares up at the Colossal Titan, Y/n squeezes his triggers before the titan begins to raise its arm. The Colossal Titan swings its arm across the wall. As Y/n activates his odm gear,, the hooks latch onto the titans arm. Y/n flies around the Colossal looking for an opening. After the titan misses Y/n, Eren is seen jumping onto the wall. Upon looking at the top, the two noticed something... it completely destroyed their artillery. Y/n thinks to himself.

Y/n: It aimed for the artillery and the gate... This is no coincidence, this titan...

The Colossal Titan makes eye contact with Y/n.

Y/n: It knows our weak spots... it's an intelligent being....

The Colossal Titan goes to grab Y/n, however latches himself onto the titan's shoulder and he flies through the gap of his fingers. As he flies around the titan, he sees Eren making his way up to attack the Titan too.

Y/n: Eren! We have to take this guy down! He's the only one capable of destroying the walls!

Eren: Got it!

Y/n maneuvers all around the titan as a distraction as Eren heads straight for the nape.

Eren: I'm gonna... Bring you down!!

Eren was about to slash the nape, when suddenly tons of steam began to blast him from the nape, launching Eren away. Y/n sees this and goes after the nape next, as he goes through the steam, once he swung his blade... the titan vanished.

Y/n: I-It's gone...

Y/n makes his back onto the wall with Eren landing beside him.

Eren: What happened?! Did you miss it?!

Y/n: No I didn't miss it! It just vanished!

They looked down as all that was left was the titan's footprints on the ground below them where they once stood. Thomas makes it over to the two and he catches his breath.

Thomas: Did you guys take it down?!

Y/n: Do you see a fucking corpse?!

Connie gets onto the wall and looks down as titans begin to pour in.

Eren: I'm sorry... we let it get away.

Thomas: Don't apologize! None of us were able--

Connie: Hey! Cut the small talk! The wall's been damaged!

Suddenly a Garrison Regiment Soldier is seen landing in front of the squad. Y/n and the others salute to their higher ups, as they listen to the soldier.

???: What are you doing?! The Colossal Titan Response Operation is already underway!

Suddenly two more landed onto the wall.

??? 2: Return to HQ at once! Anyone who's come into contact with it, remember to give a report!

Connie: We pray for the advance team's success!

The soldiers rushed past them as they continued saluting. Y/n looks back at the footprints where the Colossal once stood, and frowns. Y/n tried to smell the air, but all he could smell was smoke. Y/n suddenly began to get light headed, as he began to stubble a bit. Connie rushes over to Y/n and grabs onto him before he tips over.

Connie: You good man? You look pale.

Y/n shakes his head and tries to get his balance back, after a few seconds the pain eases up, and he pushes himself up.

Y/n: I'm fine Connie, we have to keep moving. Come everyone, no more delay!

Everyone nods and quickly follows Y/n.

Bells are heard chiming as civilians begin to run through the streets to escape from the titans within the walls. Garrison soldiers attempted to help with the evacuation as best as possible as the civilians began to crowd the inner gate.

Back at the HQ. Everyone began to rush to fill up their gear with gas and be ready for their first ever battle.

???: As members of the Cadet Corps who passed the final maneuvers, you are now first-class soldiers. Go out and distinguish yourselves in battle!

Mikasa is seen walking around HQ searching for the other, she turns the corner to see Y/n, Armin, and Eren.

Y/n: Armin calm down, you're shaking like crazy.

Armin: I-I'm fine. I'll be fine...

Armin is seen trying to fill up his gas, but his hands shake from the reality of the situation.

Armin: But, this isn't good. We don't have the technology to instantly seal a hole eight meters high. Even that giant boulder near the outer gate... we aren't able to dig it out or move it. If we can't seal the holes, this town will be destroyed! It's just a matter of time until Wall Rose will come crumbling down! Those bastards could wipe out mankind whenever they feel like it!

Suddenly Eren grabs Armin's arm, snapping him out of it

Eren: Armin! Calm down. This isn't like last time! We will not lose to the titans anymore!

Y/n then kneels to Armin's right and places a hand on his shoulder.

Y/n: We'll win, no matter what happens, Armin. We always find a way. Now calm down, and stay focused. We can't be reckless now.

Armin: Sorry... I'm okay.

Y/n: Great. Come on, let's get ready.

Armin and Eren nod as Mikasa looks over at Y/n. The two made eye contact, and she noticed something. Y/n's hands were shaking.

Outside in the middle of HQ, all of the soldiers including cadets are seen lined up

As the Sargent from the Garrison Regiment is seen up in front telling them the plan.

Sargent: Break up into squads you were assigned to during training! You will be under the Garrison Regiment and provide support in logistics, data transmission, and search-and-destroy missions! The Garrison Regiment will intercept and hold the vanguard! The Cadet Corps will provide back-up in the middle! The Garrison Regiment's Elite Troops will protect the rear! According to reports, the Advance Guards have been decimated! The titans have broken through the outer gate! I'll be blunt! Don't be surprised to see Armored Titans break through the inner wall at any moment!

Many of the cadets began to whisper among themselves.

Sargent: Silence! At this time, we are holding off the Titans on the front lines. Our defense strategy is simply this: Gourd Wall Rose with you lives until every single citizen is safely evacuated! Finally, understand this! Desertion in face of the enemy means immediate execution! Be prepared to sacrifice your lives! Dismissed!

All Cadets salute their superior.

Cadets: Yes, sir!

Everyone began to scatter as they ran to their squads. Y/n is seen looking for his friends, when suddenly he felt someone grab his sleeve.

Krista: Y/n are you still stationed with us?

Y/n: Yeah, last time I checked. Is everyone ready?

Krista: Yeah, we're just waiting for you.

Y/n: Okay... let me just speak to Eren and Mikasa first alright? I'll be there in a second.

Krista: Okay, but please hurry!

Y/n gives her a thumbs up before running up to Eren who is seen talking with Mikasa.

Y/n: Eren, Mikasa.

Eren: Y/n? Aren't you supposed to be in your squad?

Y/n: Yeah, I wanted to see you two first. I'm guessing Mikasa is trying to make you go with her?

Mikasa: I can't lose my brother, he needs to be safe with me. You too Y/n, please if there's any danger come find me. I'll protect you two!

Y/n sighs before then flicks her forehead.

Y/n: If anything, I should be there to protect you two. But we have our orders. Stick to your squads, and keep each other safe. Do not, get distracted out there. Alright? That goes to the both of you

Mikasa: But-

???: Cadet Ackerman!

A soldier in the Garrison Regiment is seen walking up to the three.

???: You're in the rearguard. Special orders. Come with me.

Mikasa: I'm not good enough! I'll only be a burden!

???: I'm not asking for your opinion. Evacuation is behind schedule. We need the best soldiers guarding the people.

Mikasa: B-But-!

Y/n suddenly grabs her shoulder.

Y/n: Mikasa. We don't have time for this. I understand you want to be there for us, but there's too much in stake for you to focus on us!

Takes a step back, and looks down onto the ground.

Mikasa: I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking straight.

Y/n: Good. Eren, let's get to our squads, and Mikasa, be careful. I better see you guys back here in one piece.

Eren nods as he begins to walk away, Y/n was about to leave before Mikasa grabs his sleeve.

Mikasa: promise me... you won't die.

Y/n looks at her unsure what to say before patting her head. He gives her a soft smile, before frowning.

Y/n: I promise.

Y/n then walks off and joins Krista, Ymir, and the rest of the squad waiting for him.

Y/n: Alright you guys ready?

Ymir: Yeah.

The other two nod quietly as Y/n sighs, and head into battle.

Out in a battle field Y/n is seen zooming past a 15m titan as he cut deep into its nape, before landing on a nearby rooftop. The dead titan faces plants into the ground and begins to decompose. Krista, Ymir and Connie land behind him.

Ymir: Alright, where do we go next Y/n?

Y/n looked at the vanguard to see a large amount of titans had already passed through and made it into the middle.

Y/n: We need to take out as many titans as possible before they make it to the rear. It won't matter how elite those guys are, they won't handle being overwhelmed.

They look that in the distance dozens of titans are seen walking down the empty streets, while others are fighting the Garrison Regiment.

Krista: That um... seems like a lot of titans. Are you sure we could do this?

Connie: I say with Y/n by our side we have a good chance.

The squad leapt off the building and activated their 3D Maneuver gear, and began to head straight for the titans.

Y/n sees a fellow cadet being held by a skinny bald titan, the titan opens its mouth wide. Y/n then lets out a yell as he slashes his swords across the Titan's nape. The Titan's eyes rolled back as it began to fall forward. As the Cadet struggles to be free from the titan that was slowly falling, Y/n swings around and cuts the Titan's fingers off allowing for the cadet to speed off.

???: I thought I was gonna die there for a second. I owe you one!

Y/n: Repay me by not dying!

Y/n zips off to continue his mission and lower the number of titans. As Y/n sees two five meter titans surrounding another cadet, who seems to have broken gear. Y/n sees Connie finishing his titan kill, and heading his direction.

Y/n: Connie!

Connie: Yeah?!

Y/n: pick up the girl! I'll take care of the two titans down there!

Connie nods as he begins to go straight down to the girl. All while Y/n zooms over to the titans and raises his swords, before delivering a deadly blow to both of them, killing them instantly.

Y/n and his squad continued to slaughter as many titans as possible. Krista would assist any rescued cadet and give them directions to HQ, while Ymir would protect her from any titans that get in her way. While Connie would team up with Y/n and take out the larger 15 meter titans. Y/n sees a 10 m titan, and goes to attack it, however it turns around and grabs him. The titan began to squeeze him, as he felt like his body began to crack. In a split second of panic, Y/n cuts its fingers off and hooks himself to the Titan's neck. Y/n circles the titan, before using up his gas to cut the Titan's nape. The nape exploded with blood.

Y/n, who is completely covered in titan blood, then lands onto a rooftop where his squad is waiting for him. They all look back as many titan corpses were on the ground. Luckily they were actually able to keep many titans away from ever reaching the rear. Y/n wipes the blood off his face as he taps his 3DMG, his eyes then widen.

Y/n: Fuck, It's getting cold...

Krista: What?

Ymir: Y/n, are you out of gas?

Y/n: almost, but we're gonna have to refuel.

He goes to take the gas canister out, however, he suddenly begins to feel light headed. Connie pushes Y/n back up.

Connie: Y/n, the hell is happening to you? Is it your nose?

Y/n: No... Maybe. God the smell of iron is horrible out here.

Krista runs up to Y/n and places her hand on his forehead.

Krista: Y/n... what's going on? You're burning up.

Connie: Are you sick or something man?

Y/n: Trust me I'm fine.

Ymir crosses her arms and stands besides Y/n.

Ymir: Don't lie to us Y/n... what's going on?

Y/n: I... I don't know.

Y/n tighten his grips on his swords.

Y/n: It doesn't matter, we need to move. The longer we stand here the more likely we're gonna get attacked.

He tries to walk past the three, but Ymir places a hand on his chest. Unexpectedly, both of them notice his chest begin to heat up rapidly. Y/n suddenly grits his teeth and falls to his knees as he clings to his chest.

Krista: Y/n!!

Connie: Are you having a heart attack or something?!

Ymir: Holy shit, Y/n what's wrong!?

The three huddle around Y/n as his ears begin to ring, his eyes blur and. His breathing grows erratic, suddenly Y/n's ears pick up something. Despite all of the pain he suddenly pushes the three away from him as an abnormal leap from the ground and slams face first where the four once stood. The three of them flew back and rolled across the roof, before pushing them up. They see Y/n fall down the crumbling roof and land onto the solid ground.

Krista: Oh god Y/n!!

Ymir: Krista go grab Y/n! Connie! Cover me! We're gonna take that thing down!!

Connie: Got it!

Ymir suddenly runs past Krista and leaps into the air and activates her gear. Connie and Ymir zip around the titan as it pushes itself up.

Y/n is seen coughing on the street, as he lightly pushes himself. Still on his hands and knees, Y/n feels blood trickling down his forehead as his heart feels as if it's burning. Y/n's body suddenly flexes as he begins to scream in pain. A strange energy began to flow through his arms from the ground, as the ground below him glows white. Once the energy enters it surges into his chest. With the strange energy increasing, Y/n's chest began to glow a brighter fiery orange by the second.

Kirsta lands near Y/n and stops as she sees the state he's in

Krista: Y-Y/n? What's happening to you?!

Y/n: I don't know!

Krista tries to help Y/n up but lets out a yelp, she looks down at her palm to see a light burn. It's like he's on fire, she hisses in pain and takes off her jacket, and cuts it in half with her blade. She wraps the two pieces over her palms, and looks down at Y/n. Her eyes widened at the sight. As his chest began to glow brighter, steam began to emit from Y/n's back, causing his jacket to burn away revealing his bare back.

Back to the other two, the titan pushes itself up and continues to try to climb into the roof. Ymir circles the titan, before flying towards its elbow, cutting it apart. Connie swoops down and leaves a clean cut at its ankles knocking it back down onto the ground. Once Ymir was in position, she let out a loud cry before slicing its nape. The Titan goes limp and begins to steam as Ymir and Connie land on a nearby roof. The two took a breather as Connie wiped the sweat off his forehead.

Y/n: AGHHHHH!!!

The two jump down onto the street to see Y/n absorbing energy from the earth.

Ymir: What the fuck is happening!?

Krista: I don't know! But I can't grab him! He's burning?!

Connie: The hell you mean he's burning!?

Krista: Just look at him!!

The trio suddenly felt the ground shake, they looked ahead of them to see 6 titans making their way towards them, worst of all, they're all about 15m tall.

Connie: Oh shit!

Connie quickly replaces his blades, Ymir's grip on her handles tighten, while Krista readies herself to try to grab Y/n again.

Y/n: GET AWAY!!

The three halt and look at Y/n, his face was covered in steam.

Y/n: You guys get out of here!

Krista: We can't leave you!

Connie: Yeah man!

Y/n: I CAN'T MOVE! It's over for me! So go! Now!

The three stand there, unsure what to do, a 10 meter titan suddenly smashes through a house behind them.

Ymir: Shit! We're surrounded!

Connie: A fuck man!

Y/n: Ymir! Take them!! That's my last request, GET THEM OUT!!!

Ymir grits her teeth, and grabs Krista's arm.

Krista: Ymir?! We can't leave him!

Connie: Yeah! You can't be serious!

Ymir: I'm sorry be we have to go, we can't take them all on! He doesn't want us to die like this!

Y/n grits his teeth, and does his best to smile to the three.

Y/n: Thank you... Ymir.

Y/n continues to glow brighter, Ymir does her best to muster up a smile, but couldn't bring herself to do it for him. She activates her odm gear and pulls her and Krista away from Y/n. Connie shakes his head, and zips away... Y/n begins to glow brighter and brighter as the titans grow closer second by second

A few minutes after they left scene, Y/n's arms finally loses up. His chest begins to pulse, as he pushes himself from the ground. The titans, mere feet away from him, began to reach down for him. He takes a deep breath for a few seconds, he looks up weakly, before closing his eyes. As the hands of titans were mere inches from grabbing him, his chest let's out one last shine...

For a flash of a moment, white lighting rises from the earth and into the sky...

From where Y/n stood, was now a crater, in which a large mysterious creature emitting a blue light now sits.

At the same time, Mikasa is seen walking with the Elite Troops, when she turns around as she feels something went, vary, vary wrong.
