Percy Pov
  Paul was towering over Annabeth with a hungry look in his eyes. I immediately knew what he was going to do. I struggled to get to my feet. Once I got off the ground I grabbed a broken leg chair and slowly walked over to Paul. "Now you be a good little girl and do what I say and you won't get hurt" Paul said. *WHACK* Paul crumpled to the ground. "Percy! Thank you so much!" And with that I crumpled to the ground

Time skip

   I woke up to the sickening smell of chemicals. I looked around to see that everything was annoyingly white. I knew immediately that I was in the hospital. I tried to sit up but a searing pain was in my leg. I winced and laid back down. "You're gonna have to stay off that leg for quite a while." A voice said. I looked to my right and saw a man with wavy hair that was so blonde it looked golden. "Glad you're finally awake. My names Apollo. You came in with quite a beating. You should be able to leave in about two days." "W-what happened to Paul?" "The man that was knocked unconscious? Don't worry he's in police custody as we speak. You don't have to worry about him anymore." I sighed with relief. "However since he's your only living relative that we know of we have no other choice than to send you to a foster home." My eyes widened with panic. "No please don't! Please!" "Sir I'm afraid we have to, unless you have a friend that could take you in?" I could feel my heart sink. Wait! I could ask Annabeth. If she won't letme in than I don't know who would. "Sir could I call a friend?" "No problem Percy" I walked over to the phone in the room and dialed in her number.
*RING*

*RING*
Come on please pickup!

"H-hello?" The voice said. "Hey Annabeth it's me." "Oh my gods Percy are you feeling okay?!" "Yeah I am but I have a question." "Go ahead Percy" "Paul's in custody and I have no other living relatives." I prayed under my breath. "Yeah, it's fine with my parents. When do you need to be picked up?" I looked at Apollo. "In about two days". "I need to be picked up in about two days." "Okay I'll let him know." "Okay thank you Annabeth." "You're welcome Percy, now get some rest, you need it." And with that she hung up. "They'll be picking me  up in two days." "Okay, I'll let the adoption center know." "Thank you Mr. Apollo." "You're welcome Percy." And with that he walked out of the room and shut the door and I was left alone with my demons. It's over it's finally over. Paul's in custody, I don't have to deal with his bull sh*t anymore. I can finally relax. I don't have to be afraid anymore.
I sighed and closed my eyes drifting off to a dreamless sleep.
