Goku was excited and he hasn't been in a long time. A month after the new Avengers team joined everyone reunited to see Goku have fun in a tournament at first they were reluctant since it was in Japan but they decided to go when Stark made translators for them. Giving them the chance to understand them and to speak it when they talk. Plus Goku had all of them meet Kami the God of Earth. Thor literally tried to intimidate Kami but Goku just made him look at Mr. Popo.

Mr. Popo - Hi.

Steve and others left really uncomfortable. All think was what they saw. It terrified them.

All - eyes.

Goku went with Kami as both flew to the World Tournament Stage with the Avengers behind them. The rainy weather in Japan had everyone a little worried that the tournament could be canceled but Goku kept on with his optimism. He covered his hair and got his umbrella as everyone else walked behind him to the Tournament.

Through the walk they saw a woman with blue hair reaching on a tree for a ballon. Goku went up and reached the ballon as he knew who the woman was and the group behind her. She was trying to figure out how to get the ballon but Goku grabbed it from the tree.

Goku - Hey guys

Roshi - Is this a friend of yours?

Bulma - No. Oolong do you know who this is?

Oolong - Mmm-mmm. Puar?

Everyone was confused on who this person was but the Avengers just smiled under their umbrellas.

Goku - Here you are Bulma.

Bulma - How do you know who I am?

Goku - Master Roshi, I'm pleased to see you again. All of you are looking well.

Roshi - Ehh Master?

Goku - Where are Krillin and the others? Haven't they arrived yet?

Bulma - You can't be...

Launch - No way.

Roshi - Ehh Goku?!

Everyone was shocked to see Goku again but in adult body.

Goku - What? Of course it's me who else would it be?

Soon the rain started to slow down and Goku noticed the rain stopping.

Goku - The rain is starting to let up maybe we'll the see the sun today after all.

The Avengers closed their umbrellas but kept their hats on as they didn't disturbed Goku and his friends.

Oolong - Hey are you really Goku?

Goku - Stop it. Maybe you don't recognize me with this thing on my head. I'll take it off so I'll look a little more like me.

Goku soon removed the turban on his head as his spiky hair made everyone even more shocked to see him like that.

Goku - Now do you recognize me? Who else but me has hair like this?

Everyone was still shocked to see the new Goku however a little girl asked Bulma for her ballon back as Bulma returned it bringing a smile to the girl's face.

Goku - Funny I remember you being a lot taller.

Bulma - And you used to be much shorter.

Goku - Yeah I guess I grown when you last saw me.

Oolong/Puar - You sure have

Launch - You can't blame us for not recognizing you right away.

Bulma - You definitely have Goku's hairstyle.

Goku saw Bulma lips red as he was still as naive by asking her the question to confirm his identity.

Goku - Bulma! What happened? It looks like your lips are bleeding.

Bulma - No it's called Lipstick you moron...it really is Goku.

Soon everyone walked to the registration booth and the Avengers still walked behind Goku and his friends not interrupting them and waiting for the right time to introduce themselves. Goku and the others met up with Yamcha, Tien and Krillin as they greeted everyone. While Goku surprised Krillin with his new look but it soon turned into a happy hug as Krillin thanked Goku for bringing him back to life after Demon King Piccolo.

Krillin - It's good to be back.

Steve - Sorry but I think it's a good moment for you to introduce us Goku.

Goku - Hahaha yeah you guys waited so long.

Bulma - No way. It can't be...Goku you know...

Krillin/Oolong - The Avengers?!

Goku - Well it seems they don't need an introduction but everyone meet my friends Steve Rogers, Thor, Tony Stark, Clint Barton, Natasha Romanoff, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff and The Vision also known as the Avengers. Avengers, my friends. Krillin, Bulma, Launch, Oolong, Tien, Yamcha, Puar, Chiaotzu and Master Roshi.

Everyone - It's good to meet you.

After registering they went to the hotel and everyone got a room for 2. Goku however still had his mind on the child of Demon King Piccolo. The fighter he has to defeat.

The next day the Avengers got front row seats with Bulma, Launch, Roshi, Oolong and Puar. However Goku, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha and Chiaotzu went to the back arena to prepare for the preliminary matches but Goku was met with Piccolo. Tien and Chiaotzu figured it out but Goku asked them to not say anything both agreed but everyone was interrupted when Goku felt a few taps on his shoulder as he looked behind and saw a woman standing in front of him.

Woman - Hi Goku.

Everyone was shocked to see a beautiful woman know Goku but Goku didn't know who the girl was.

Goku - Do I know you?

The woman was shocked of Goku not knowing her as her anger reached its limit and she yelled at Goku calling him a fool but after that she left angry. Goku was confused but decided to ignore it finding it weird and annoying she would scream at him for no reason.

Everyone then went to fight the preliminary matches as everyone except Chiaotzu as Mercenary Tao had return from the brink of death a long time ago.

Eventually after many fights they all went to the main arena as they had their fights. Now the main fighters were Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Tao, the mysterious woman, Hero, and Piccolo.

The first fight was Tien vs General Tao and the fight was a not as tough as everyone thought but Tao eventually was pushed out the ring as Tien showed he was superior now.

Tony - I like that Tien guy. He's got some cool technique and probably would like to join the Avengers.

Steve - It's not just skill Tony it's about goals and their morals.

The next fight was Goku vs the Mysterious woman who kept her name as Anonymous.

Goku tried to be friendly but she kept the same angry look on her face which still confused Goku.

Wanda - I don't like this. That woman has a grudge on Goku but I can feel something more stronger than anger.

Pietro - What is it?

Wanda - I don't know but it just doesn't feel right.

Goku - It seems your always angry about something?

Woman - There's a lot to be angry about when I see you.

Natasha - I don't know her but she doesn't rub me the wrong way.

Woman - How could you?! So long as I live I'll never forgive you for this.

Goku - I think your mistaken me for someone else.

Woman - Don't be stupid you are Goku aren't you!

The drums started to get faster as the announcer started the match as the woman ran towards Goku and tried to land a blow but Goku easily just dodged her attacks or just blocked it.

Goku - Have I ever met you before?!

Woman - You really know how to lay on the charm! Of course we met before!

She kept on with the fight but Goku again still confused on who this was kept blocking and didn't fight back.

Krillin - So that's what this is. Goku and that girl knew each other.

Woman - Are you that dense?! Did I mean that little to you?!

Steve - So were they friends before? This is also confusing.

Woman - Have you forgotten the promise you made?!

Goku backflip away and jumped into the air more shocked that he made a promise and he doesn't remember making a promise to a random girl like her.

Goku - Wait did I promise you something?!

Woman - That's right!

She still tried to land a blow but Goku just dodged her attacks.

Goku - Can you please tell me what I promised you?

Woman - You don't remember?! Fine I'll tell you! You said I would be your bride! YOU PROMISE TO MARRY ME!!!

Everyone was shocked but for Wanda it hurt her as she started to leave the arena with Pietro behind her.

Goku - How would I marry you?! I don't even know who you are!

Woman - I'll tell you who I am. If you beat me.

Goku - Say less.

Goku prepared his attack as he put a small amount of power on his fist and released Kiai strike knocking the woman out of the ring.

Soon she got up as she complimented Goku on how strong he was as she revealed her identity.

Woman - Your impossible I'm the Ox King's daughter. Chichi.

Goku eyes widen big now knowing who the woman was as a flashback went on inside his mind and it shocked him that he remembered the promise.

Goku - It was back when we were children I wanted a bride.

Chichi - I remember I was there.

Goku - But you don't understand I thought bride meant something to eat.

Chichi - Something to eat? So the promise you made was a mistake?

Goku - Sometimes my brain doesn't know what my mouth is saying. However I can't marry you Chichi. I can't marry someone because of a promise and plus I don't know anything about you really. It's almost impossible for me to marry a random woman. Plus my heart belongs to someone else.

Goku looked to his left but noticed that Wanda and Pietro was gone. He had a bad feeling of it so he apologized to Chichi hoping in the future they can still be friends but he truly was sorry.

Goku - We were kids before and I didn't have an education or family but now I have that and I understand the world better. I'm sorry Chichi.

He jumped across the arena as he looked for Wanda and Pietro but nothing until he went across the corner going behind the arena as he saw Pietro comforting Wanda who seemed to be crying.

Goku - Wanda. What's wrong?

Pietro walked towards Goku as he patted his arm and left back to the arena with the others.

Goku sat down on the floor in front of Wanda as he lifted her chin up slowly but she just moved her head.

Goku - What's wrong?

Wanda - Nothing. Everything is fine. We are Avengers and you have a fiancé. Soon to be married.

Goku - Wanda no...let me.

Wanda - I'm happy for you. Your my best friend and seeing you happy makes me happy.

Goku - That's my line you know. Wanda when I made that promise I was a kid I didn't know what marriage was. I thought it was food and trust me I wasn't the brightest kid on the block but if I knew what it was then I wouldn't have accepted since we know nothing of each other but I know you.

Wanda wiped away her tears and slightly smiled, as she hugged Goku and Goku hugged back wrapping his tail around her and both looked at each other.

Goku - Wanda.

Goku moved his head even closer as Wanda moved her arms around his neck both closed their eyes and they kissed as Goku slowly started to rise with Wanda still holding onto him.

Goku - I love you Wanda.

Wanda - I love you too Goku.

They kissed again as they return to the arena but not telling anyone of their now new relationship.

The tournament continued but Goku had more confidence than before as he saw Wanda secretly blow him a kiss during a fight which almost cost him his fight with Tien.

The end of the tournament Goku fought Piccolo which was the hardest fight however he did held back.

Goku defeated Piccolo but didn't kill him with Piccolo leaving. Goku and the Avengers said goodbye to his friends but promised that they would call them soon.

Goku was back in the compound with Wanda in their room both smiling as he held Wanda in his arms watching sitcoms together.

Goku - I love my life nothing will ruin this.
