Jason POV

I jolt awake feeling something jump on me and I see buu trying to get comfortable on me

Me: "any reason why your on me?" She cutely sticks her tongue out and Issei starts chasing Caulifla who took his cards

Issei: "c'mon man give them back!" Caulifla jumps over him and runs the other direction

Xenovia: "go fish" tiamat sighs and tosses her cards

Tiamat: "I don't understand this game" Akeno just smiles and I notice Koneko a bit behind her

She's staring out the window away from everyone. Ever since last night she's been distant with us but more specifically me

Me: "you okay Koneko?" She snaps out of it and looks at me

Koneko: "yeah just tired" I know she's lying but I don't press her

The doors to the train car open and I see Sona with her pawn and queen

Sona: "hello Rias" Rias gets up and talks to her as I have a conversation with Kuroka

Me: "Kuroka" she looks at me "something's wrong with your sister. You have any ideas?" She looks down at her cards and places one down

Kuroka: "something is bothering her. I don't know what but I've noticed her scent is different" I look back over at Koneko

Sona: "I'll see you later Jason" I snap out of my thinking and see Sona standing in front of me

Me: "right. See you later" I see Saji glaring at me behind her

I reach up and give her a kiss making her blush and her pawn looks pissed

Me: "I'm sure we'll see each other again" she smiles and she leaves with her pieces behind her but Saji hives me a death glare and I give him the double finger defense (who can guess the reference?)

Issei: "seriously man how do you do that?" I look at him "how the hell are you a chick magnet?" I shrug

Me: "it's called being normal" he slumps and Asia comforts him

Timeskip

I'm halfway asleep when the train jerks to a stop and I catch myself before I'm flung from my seat

Me: "why the fuck did the train suddenly stop!?" I let go of my seat as Azazel and Rias enters the train car

Azazel: "we're picking up a representative of asgard. I'm gonna take a peak outside" he leaves and I feel like he's hiding something

Issei: "what's an assguard?" I sigh and make sure the girls are alright when I feel something

Koneko: "something's wrong" I feel myself forced through teleportation and I grab Gasper as we are taken and I slam onto my back and groan

I let go of Gasper as he stays on my chest

Me: "you okay buddy?" He nods as everyone else appears

Kuroka: "is everyone alright!?" I look around and see that Rias, Azazel, and Tiamat are missing

Xenovia: "something is coming" there's a rumble and a chunk of rock falls of the mountain

The thudding gets louder until a giant dragon comes around the corner

Issei: "A DRAGON!!!" It breathes fire at us and I get in the way and attempt something new

Me: "FUCK THIS BURNS!!!" I absorb the fire and Koneko runs forward and jumps throwing a punch but she seems to falter

She gets slammed by the dragons tail and hits the wall and I fly forward and catch her before she falls

Kuroka: "SHIRONE!!!" I set her down and look at the dragon pissed

Me: "how dare you! You hurt my Koneko!!!" I roar charging up with anger and transform into super saiyan two

I roar and charge forward and punch it hard making a shockwave and sending it on its ass. I faintly hear Akeno say something but I don't listen as all I see is red

Kuroka POV

Issei equips his boosted gear and starts boosting as Caulifla, Kale, and Buu try attacking but the force of its flames are keeping them back

Me: "we need a strategy!" The dragon slams it's tail down on Jason but he grabs it and swings it into one of the rock walls

It gets up and looks to Issei as he boosts again

Akeno: "Asia, Kuroka! Get Koneko to safety!" She blasts the dragon as I pick up Asia and make our way to Shirone

Jason POV

Xenovia and Kiba jump forward and swing with their swords but the dragon deflects both of them with its horns surprising Xenovia

Xenovia: "it was able to deflect durandal?" I roar while flying past and uppercut the dragon forcing it to look up but it slams its head back down sending me to the ground and knocking me out of super saiyan two

I try to get up before it slams its foot on me

Mini timeskip

I feel something slapping my face as I gain consciousness

Issei: "c'mon man wake up" I grab his hand as he tries to slap me again

Me: "this better not be the hand you masterbate with" he laughs as he helps me up and I see Koneko and try to go to her but see the dragon "oh you motherfucker!!!" I move forward to kick his ass when Kuroka stops me

Kuroka: "It's okay. He was just testing us" I keep glaring at him and I see tiamat with Rias and Azazel

Tiamat: "I'm sorry strong one but I had to keep away" I look at Koneko who is kinda away from everyone

Timeskip

I groan as I lean back in the hotsprings as Issei and Gasper have a weird moment

Me: "Issei stop being a jackass" he groans as Azazel says something that I don't care about

Kiba: "can I ask you two something?" I look up and see Kiba looking at me and Gasper "it's about the fight" I nod "Koneko seems different. Like something was wrong with her" I sigh and lean forward

Me: "she's been distant with me and the girls and that worries me" I groan and dunk my head and surface while shaking the water out of my hair

Gasper: "can we talk about what happened with you?" I look at Gasper and he kinda looks scared "you kinda lost it when Koneko got hurt. You've seen her get hurt before but this time you were out for blood" I narrow my eyes at him and he squeaks before putting himself deeper into the water

I sigh and run a hand through my hair as I think why I lost all sense of restraint

Me: "I don't know why. Something was different that made me feel like I had to murder it for hurting her" I groan and put my head in my hands

Koneko POV

How am I going to tell him? How will he react? I know I can't hide this forever but I can't just outright tell him either. Can I?
