Jason POV

I sit on my bed with a groan and take my shirt off and think about how Akeno interacted with her father

Me: "I want to help her but what can I even do?" There's a knock on the door "come in" Akeno comes in as I toss my shirt near the closet

Akeno: "hey Jason" I smile and she closes the door

Me: "how you holding up?" She sits on the bed

Akeno: "good. I actually came here to explain myself" she looks down at her lap and I raise my hand but hesitate before placing it on her shoulder

Me: "about why you yelled at your father?" She nods and takes a breath before speaking

Akeno: "my mother was a priestess at a shrine. One day she found a fallen angel wounded from battle and nursed him back to health. They fell in love and soon I was born. Because of the scandal the Himejima family disowned us and kicked us out on our own. So we left to make a quiet life with my father the fallen angel. Naturally those days of peace didn't last very long" she pauses and I patiently wait for her to continue "when my black wings started coming in I had no idea people would hate them as much as they did. What kid thinks their neighbors would try to murder her? My mother tried desperately to shield me from them" she starts to shake so I put my arm around her

Me: "she tried protecting you" she nods

Akeno: "I spent my days running from the people that hunted me. I was still just a child and soon my body gave out. That's when I met Rias. She showed up and saved me"

Me: "why are you telling me all of this?"

Akeno: "I wanted to tell you because I want to put this behind me. But I can't! He abandoned us so he could save himself! There's no way I'll call that bastard my father!" I sigh while removing my arm from her

I mentally debate with myself before deciding to tell her about my father

Me: "there was a man who was the king of my race" she looks up at me "in my honest opinion he was an asshole, and a self centered prick. But he wanted what was best for his race. We were under rule from an evil warlord and he made negotiations to keep us alive" I clench my fist "and that asshole was my father" I look to her who looks surprised "my father was the king of the saiyans and even though he was an asshole he had reasons for his actions. Your father is a man who'd put family before himself" she huffs

Akeno: "then why wasn't he there when we needed him?" I gently grab her face and make her look at me

Me: "there's always two sides of the story. Your father is someone who doesn't want anything to happen to his family. Try to talk to him Akeno. Please" she looks at me before sighing

The world seems to slow as I jump at her and push her down as the room explodes

No one POV

Cumber watches as the room blows up and once the smoke clears the room is in ruins

Cumber: "I know that your still alive!!! Come out and fight!!!" The rubble explodes as Jason powers up with Akeno behind him

Jason: "Akeno get to the others" she tries to argue but Jason turns super saiyan four

He launches at Cumber and throws a punch but Cumber catches it and hits him hard making him fly back

He stops himself and charges as Cumber and fakes a swing making him block but he reaches out and touches Cumber and uses instant transmission just as Cumber slams his elbow down

Jason POV

I get hit down to the ground and slam down hard and I open my eyes and see I brought us to the arctic

Cumber: "I will kill you!!!" He flares his power and his aura is massive

He charges at me so I turn into super saiyan god and roll back shoving myself off the ground avoiding his swing and I retaliate by slugging him hard jerking his head upward and spin kicking his stomach and jumping back from him

Cumber: "that form" he gets pissed and roars turning super saiyan three

Fu POV

I watch with a gleeful smile as Cumber starts beating the absolute shit out of him

Me: "oh how amazing! This fight will be the fight of the multiverse!"

No one POV

I slam onto the ground and try to get up but he slams down on my back forming a crater under us and jumps off

Me: "has anyone ever told you your an asshole?" I get up and he seems absolutely pissed

I breathe hard already just wanting to sleep and not deal with this so I turn blue

He responds by flying forward and grabbing my face and slams me against the ground carving though it

I kick him off and retaliate by throwing a massive barrage of ki blasts

He flies through it and headbutts me and grabs my leg and falls to the ground fast and slams me against the ice multiple times as I scream in pain

He throws me into an ice mountain and it collapses on me and I don't move because I'm in so much pain

Cumber: "FIGHT!!! GET UP AND FIGHT ME!!!" I force myself up and chunks of ice fall off me "GET UP OR I KILL YOUR WHITE HAIRED BITCH!!!" I blast out of the rubble and uppercut him hard but he grabs my face and slams it against his knee

He slams his foot down crushing me into the ground before he kicks me away and I slam into an ice wall

Cumber: "you were supposed to be strong!!! Do I have to kill the girl for you to fight me seriously!?!?" I get up angry

Me: "you will not touch her!!!" I roar trying to amp up my power as slivers of black start appearing in my aura but I don't stop

The ground around me starts to crack as my aura changes from blue to black. The world disappears as I'm back in the black void and I see the two versions of me again

Light cannot exist without darkness

Darkness cannot exist without light

Me: "what do you mean?! How do I overcome this!?"

Focus on what your fighting for

The two disappear and are replaced with a smiling Koneko and I finally understand

No one POV

Cumber is pushed back from the pure power as Jason is surrounded by the dark super saiyan aura until it explodes into white and gets bigger as the power changes from demonic to godly as Jason keeps powering up

Cumber: "what is this!?!?" There's a massive explosion of godly white energy and when the light dies down Jason is standing there looking pissed in Omni Super Saiyan

Cumber takes a step back but he spits up blood as Jason is suddenly in front of him with his fist buried in his stomach and he gets sucker punched making him fly through multiple mountains

Fu POV

Me: "WHAT!?!? NO THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!" I watch in horror as the fight now becomes one sided as Jason has achieved a form I did even know the saiyans could achieve

Jason keeps pummeling Cumber with what looks like no effort at all

Me: "no. This can't be happening!" I feel extreme horror as my plan is falling apart before my very eyes

Jason POV

Cumber growls and launches at me and throws a barrage of punches that I easily dodge and I catch his fist and uppercut him making him stumble back

Cumber: "what are you!?!?" I can sense his fear coming off him in waves

Me: "you beat me to a pulp" he blasts me but I smack it away

Me: "you threaten my family" he roars flying at me and throws a kick but I smack it away and punch him making him stumble back

Me: "and you threatened the mother of my child" I flare my power and he steps back in fear

He roars flaring all of his power as I flare mine and hold my arms out preparing to finish this

Cumber: "YOUR NOTHING!!! I AM STRONGEST!!!" I force my hands together as energy forms

He roars and charges at me full force

No one POV

Jason: "OMNI FLASH!!!!!" He fires a massive beam of pure white energy that hits Cumber and it engulfs him as it shoots out into space but unknown to him the pure power of his attack rips a hole through time and something slips through before it closes up

A magic circle appears and all of the girls step out and see the massive beam before it dies down to nothing

Akeno: "what is that!?" Caulifla just laughs

Caulifla: "he achieved his true God form" they see Jason covered in his godly white aura and he turns to them

He moves super fast and appears in front of them all making them step back in surprise except Koneko who just smiles before a gasp is heard and they all turn to see Gine

Gine: "is that really you my little saiyan?" Jason turns back to base stunned

Jason: "mom?"
