Jassei stares down the two as black growls in anger

Black: "this isn't supposed to happen! You goddamn filthy mortals!!!" He roars charging forward only for Rias to blow past him and Jassei launches forward throwing a punch and they collide shattering the protective field

They separate and charge at each other over and over before they catch each other's hands

Jassei: "c'mon Rias come back to us. Come back to me. Come back to your pawn" she falters a bit but headbutts him cracking his helmet

Issei POV

I'm in a black void not really knowing what happened

Let's torture her boys!

I look around and I see I'm at a place I've never seen before

I'm an outcast too. Wanna be friends?

I turn and see a kid Jason and a female saiyan

Me: "wait am I in Jason's memories?"

Jason POV

Oh fuck this is very weird. No wonder Vegeta hates to fuse with Goku

Will you die for me?

I hear Raynare so I turn and see Issei backing up from Raynare

I said would you die for me?

I can feel everything that Issei felt on that day

Me: "he's still traumatized by this. I'm so sorry Issei"

Jassei POV

I sucker punch Rias sending her back

Me: "dammit Rias you need to listen!" She hits me with destruction magic making me yell in pain

I have the memories of both Jason and Issei but all of Issei's are surfacing

Me: "you need to wake up!" I hit her but she uppercuts me and kicks me hard making me spit up blood

I charge only to get double hand slammed down and Rias slashes me cutting through the armor

Black: "it's useless mortal! She cannot be reached!" I growl and Issei's personality is getting stronger

Me: "dammit Rias come back to me!!!" I charge forward to punch her but I'm double hand slammed by black

Unaware to them the potaras crack as he powers up even more

Jassei: "RIAS!!!!!" He roars firing a dragon shot hitting black and killing him but Rias dodges "please come back!" She falters but charges hitting him with an uppercut

She flies at him and tries to land strikes but he dodges and he tries to hit her but she blocks leaving them in a stalemate

Gine POV

Me: "I'm glad you are all okay. Is Jason still in there?" Koneko looks down sadly

Kiba: "Jason and Issei sacrificed themselves to beat Rias. They have combined into one" my heart feels like it stopped

Me: "what?" I'm shaking

Akeno: "they used these earrings and fused. Jason said once they do that they will become fused permanently

Caulifla: "wait they're earrings?" They nod and she sighs "the fusion lasts an hour unless you overload the earrings with too much power" Kiba shakes his head

Kiba: "he seemed very serious when he told Issei before they fused"

No one POV

Jassei is being knocked around by Rias as the Issei part of him can't bear the thought of hurting his king as she is pummeling him

Jassei: "Rias! You need to wake up! Please!" She falters a little bit but not enough as she headbutts him

He growls as he starts to see tears fall down her neck from under the armor and knows he's starting to get to her

Jassei: "Issei promised you that he would always save you!" She shakes "he is here and he isn't going to leave until he saves you!" She shakes even more before shooting a gigantic blast of destruction magic "KAIOKEN TIMES FIFTY!!!!!" The whole dimensional gap shakes violently as the potaras crack even more and his power negates her attack

In the normal world everything is shaking. Heaven, earth, and hell can feel the raw power from the dimensional gap

Gine: "is that Jason!?" Azazel grabs her and holds her as the shaking gets more violent

Kuroka: "Jason!!!" A tear opens and the power starts flooding out and they can see a bright red and white light

Back in the dimensional gap Jassei charges forward hitting Rias in the stomach and uppercutting her before headbutting her

Jassei: "JUST WAKE UP RIAS!!!" He roars and hits her in the head cracking her helmet "dammit Rias I'm not leaving without you!!!" She flies upward

She prepares a blast but stops. She can't do it and that hesitation gives him an opening so he charges straight at her

Jassei: "AS YOUR PAWN I PROMISED TO PROTECT MY MASTER AND I WON'T FAIL!!! RIAS!!!" His balance breaker shatters as he hits her full force in the face breaking the helmet making the armor shatter as Jassei is split back into Jason and Issei as the portaras shatter

Issei catches Rias as Jason sees the shattered pieces forming into the fake Issei

Issei: "I thought you said that was permanent?" He looks to where Jason is looking

Me: "this isn't over" the fake Issei stares at the three

Issei: "who the hell do you think you are pretending to be me!?" It doesn't say anything

Jason turns super saiyan and Issei forms his balance breaker but the fake Issei morphs into something monsterous

Gine POV

The rift closes as the fake Issei transforms

Azazel: "as I thought. Loki got his hands on a piece of Issei's balance breaker" everyone looks at him

Sona: "what does that mean?" He looks grim

Azazel: "it has all of his powers including the forbidden move. Juggernaut drive" everyone gasps and I look to where the rift was

Me: "please be safe"

Jason POV

Rias: "do we have a plan?" I roar amping up to four

Me: "I have a plan. Attack" I fly forward and throw a fist only to be slammed by it and grabbed and it starts squeezing me "DAMMIT I'M NOT A SQUEAKY TOY!!!" I roar breaking out and nail it in the head only to get swatted away back to Issei who catches me

Issei: "I have a way to beat that thing" I drop to base and float weakly as he gets in front of us

Me: "what are you doing?" I go to stop him but I fall back and Rias catches me

Issei: "just trust me" the creatures chest opens and it starts charging

Issei starts to glow a fiery red as it focuses on his back

Me: "if we survive this we are going out for drinks" he forms cannons

Issei: "With my power I will always protect you!!!" The creature fires and so does Issei and the blasts collide

The light is blinding as Issei roars putting more power into it and it overpowers the creature. The light dies down and Issei stands next to us

Me: "drinks are on me if we can get out of here" something opens up beneath us

I grab the two and hold them close as we get pulled down

Issei: "what's happening?" We are pulled through a weird vortex

Ddraig: "something is pulling us deeper" we go through some weird places before we are in a similar place

It seems just like where we were but suddenly I tense up feeling something with massive power coming our way

Me: "what the hell is that?!" Ddraig hums

Ddraig: "he approaches" a rift opens and a giant red dragon head comes through and it's absolutely massive

Issei: "I knew he was called great red but that suckers massive!" He flies forward ignoring us

Ddraig: "a chance like this may never happen again. We should follow his lead" he opens a portal and goes through as a bright light engulfs us

When it dies down we are on a beach and Issei and Rias are at the shore

Me: "oh for fuck sake I'm sleeping when we get back" I fall on my ass and fall all the way back and lay on the sand

I hear Rias and Issei talking but I don't really pay attention

I will never abandon you

Me: "I'm sorry for not being strong enough" I stand up and see Issei and Rias kiss "I am stronger than before. It will not happen again" I feel something brush my arm and I turn and see Rutaba

She smiles before disappearing and I smile

Me: "goodbye Rutaba. May you find peace in the afterlife"
