"The moon princess," Zwei said in shock, "after all this time she's been found. Our moon princess Ruby."

"Who would've thought it was Ruby," Sailor Jupiter said

"Yeah and Oscar, he's Tuxedo Mask," Sailor Mercury added.

Neo clenched her fist, "enough of this! I want that imperial silver crystal! Give it to me now!"

Princess Ruby stared the negaverse general down and held her crescent moon wand above her head as her eyes glowed brightly.

"Cosmic moon power," She muttered and the wand and her silver eyes both let out a bright beam of light. The light blasted Neo full force and sent her backwards into a stone pillar. She hit her head and crumpled.

The moon princess then gathered Tuxedo Mask into her arms, "Tuxedo Mask...I can sense your life force growing weaker. Please...please don't leave me."

Tuxedo Mask opened his eyes a fraction of an inch and he weakly cupped Ruby's cheek, "my princess...I've found you at last. And I remember who I am, I remember everything. My name. I'm Prince Ozma of Remnant."

A flash of realization crossed Princess Ruby's face, "Prince Ozma, that's right. You're Prince Ozma and I'm Princess Ruby of the Moon Kingdom. I-I remember...we were engaged to be married. I even remember the last moment we shared together."

Princess Ruby and Prince Ozma stood side by side on the balcony of the moon palace watching the planets of the solar system pass by.

I gave you my star locket as a token of my love. It plays our special waltz.

Prince Ozma smiled as his princess placed the locket in his hand. He reached up to cup her cheek.

Right after that the negaverse attacked my kingdom. You promised you'd fight back.

Princess Ruby tearfully hugged her prince goodbye before he leapt into the fray to fight Queen Salem's army.

I was so afraid you would never come back.

Princess Ruby smiled sadly, "but you did come back. My Prince Ozma, you set me free and now we can be together again."

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Her princess dress transformed back into her sailor scout uniform just as she passed out on the ground.

"Sailor Moon!" Sailor Venus shouted.

The sailor scouts ran over and Sailor Venus slowly picked her sister up, "can you hear me? Sailor Moon?!"

"She'll wake up don't worry. Her memories all just came back to her. It probably overwhelmed her," Zwei assured her.

Sailor Jupiter smirked, "she fainted after being overwhelmed, how princess like."

Meanwhile Sailor Mars was gently shaking Tuxedo Mask, "Tuxedo Mask wake up! Oscar!"

"We should get him to a doctor," Sailor Mercury suggested.

"N-nobody's going anywhere..." a weak voice spoke into their mind.

The girls all turned to see Neo shakily getting to her knees. It seemed Princess Ruby's attack had only stunned her.

"You're all history...." She barely managed to get to her feet before collapsing again, but Roman teleported in front of her just in time to catch her.

"Neo!" He said in alarm.

"Those girls...have the imperial silver crystal..." Neo said.

"Well they won't escape with it. I'll make sure of it," Roman said.

Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Mars all stood protectively in front of Sailor Venus who was still holding Sailor Moon in her arms.

"Well you'll have to deal with us first," Sailor Mercury said.

"It's not you girls I'm after," he said.

Roman held out a hand and Tuxedo Mask was incased in a dark sphere. Then with a snap of his fingers the caped hero vanished.

"We'll leave you girls to run around in here for all eternity. You'll never find your way out."

With that Roman pulled Neo to his side and teleported the two of them away.

"Fantastic work you two. Now the moon princess has the imperial silver crystal," Queen Salem said sarcastically.

"Majesty she's a child! Taking the crystal from her will be easy!" Roman assured her.

"You better be right about that Roman. Now Neo, explain to me what you were doing with Tuxedo Mask."

Neo, who was still leaning against Roman, lifted her head up, "m-my queen?"

"Do you think I wouldn't catch on to what you were doing?! I ordered you to bring me Tuxedo Mask alive! And yet you tried to kill him knowing your new orders!" Salem stood up from her throne.

Roman's eyes widened as he realized what was about to happen, "Queen Salem please-"

But the dark queen ignored him and snapped her fingers. Her seer grimm raised up at her command and pierced its tentacles through Neo's body.

"Neo!" Roman cried out in horror as his lover's body crumpled in a heap.

Salem turned away from the sight and called her grimm back to her, "let that be a lesson Roman. Now, I have more important things to worry about."

She went into her chamber which housed the dark, inky pit where Malum lay in wait.

"Master it is I, Salem," Queen Salem said kneeling before the pit.

Malum rose up from the sludge. His body was becoming more and more solid by the day as Salem's forces continued to collect energy.

"What is it?" Malum asked.

Queen Salem waved her hand and the black sphere containing Tuxedo Mask's comatose body appeared in front of her, "I must know, have you regained enough power to turn Tuxedo Mask to our side?"

The god of darkness thought for a moment before nodding, "yes. But this process will take time. The boy is on the brink of death, and to turn him to our side we must erase every memory he has of this life and the one before."

"Good. Then we can use him to destroy the moon princess and get the imperial silver crystal back." Queen Salem said with a wicked grin.

Roman stroked Neo's hair as she lay on the bed in their shared room.

"Please forgive me my love I should've asked to be punished not you."

Neo's breathing was becoming labored but she still managed a smile, "come closer Roman."

He did so and Neo weakly curled herself into his arms, "perhaps I should've listened when you told me to not stray from our plan."

"That doesn't matter now-"

"You'll be a wonderful general for our queen.." Neo whispered.

"Neo-" Roman stroked her cheek.

The woman shuddered, "please Roman...can you do one last thing for me?"

"Anything."

"Take me somewhere beautiful. I wish to die surrounded by beauty..."

Roman felt tears spring to his eyes but he gathered the mute woman into his arms and teleported them into a large field of wildflowers.

"How's this?"

Neo smiled and her eyes fluttered closed, "perfect..."

The negaverse general bit back a sob as he gently kissed Neo's lips for the last time, "goodbye my love...."

Sailor Mercury grimaced as she scanned the surrounding area with her data computer.

"Anything Sailor Mercury?" Sailor Mars asked.

The water heroine shook her head, "no. I can't find anything that even looks like an exit."

She typed into her computer, "none of these readings make sense. It's almost like we're in another dimension or something. Caught between our world and the negaverse."

Sailor Venus, who was still carrying the unconscious Sailor Moon on her back, groaned, "Great. So you're saying we're trapped?"

"Trapped...oh no..." Sailor Moon muttered as her eyes slowly opened.

"Sailor Moon!" Sailor Jupiter said, "I'm so glad you're awake! You were out of it for a while."

Sailor Moon blinked the sleep out of her eyes when suddenly all the memories of earlier came flooding back.

"Tuxedo Mask! Where is he?!"

Sailor Venus slowly helped her younger sister to the floor.

"Sailor Moon I hate to tell you this but...he was taken by the negaverse," Sailor Venus said sadly.

"Well is he ok?!"

Sailor Mars crossed her arms and looked at the ground, "honestly we aren't sure."

Sailor Moon sat on a nearby stone and sighed sadly, "I remember everything that happened to us in the past. Back in the moon kingdom I mean."

Zwei, who had been silent for a while, spoke up, "I do too. My memory is back as well."

"Well then if we're gonna be stuck here for a while mind telling us the whole story?" Sailor Venus asked, "I mean if Sailor Moon is the moon princess then we have to have lived in the moon kingdom too right?"

Zwei nodded, "you're right Venus."

A long time ago all of us lived together as part of the moon kingdom. All of the planets that made up this kingdom were known as the Silver Millennium.

Our leader, who lived in the royal palace of the moon, was Queen Summer, Ruby's mother. She was determined to teach her daughter how to be a fair and loving ruler just as she was.

Sadly, the peace was destroyed when Queen Salem of the negaverse was able to break out of her dimension and into ours.

She attacked the moon kingdom but Queen Summer was able to defeat her strongest warriors and trap them in her silver imperial crystal. As I told you before these are the seven shadows that were trapped in the rainbow crystal shards.

But unfortunately, this could not save the moon kingdom. So, using the last bit of power she had, Queen Summer also encased Princess Ruby and her royal court into her silver crystal before sending it to the future on Remnant.

You girls were the princesses of your own respective planets, but you also were part of Ruby's court.

"Summer sent me here as well to be your guardian and to bring you back together again." Zwei finished.

Sailor Jupiter crossed her arms, "well why don't we remember any of this?"

"The spell also wiped your memories," Zwei explained.

"I mean it makes sense. In a way," Sailor Venus spoke up, "Queen Summer wanted us to be happy so she sent us to the future hoping there would be peace."

"And if Salem did show up again then Queen Summer made sure that I would be here to reactivate the sailor scouts to handle any negaverse threat."

Sailor Moon sighed sadly and looked down at her feet. Sailor Venus put a hand on her shoulder.

"And now that we have the imperial silver crystal, we can finally put an end to this once and for all," Zwei said.

"So the battle has just begun huh," Sailor Mercury said.

The corgi nodded.

"We won't let what happened to the moon kingdom happen to us. If we fall there's nobody to protect our universe," Sailor Venus said.

"Well...count me out," Sailor Moon muttered.

Everyone turned to look at her.

"I'm done fighting."

"But Ruby you're our princess and the only one who can wield the silver crystal," Zwei said.

Sailor Moon put her head in her hands, "I don't care..."

"C'mon sis you can do this!" Sailor Venus said before giving her a side hug.

"No I can't!" Sailor Moon snapped, "I could barely handle being Sailor Moon now I'm the moon princess too?!"

"You're just tired," Zwei said gently, "just give it some time-"

"I don't want to 'give it time!'" Sailor Moon yelled, "I don't want to do any of this. I want to go back to being normal! I don't want to be Sailor Moon or the moon princess or the moon anything! I just want to be Ruby!"

Tears began to form in her eyes, "Tuxedo Mask...Oscar...is gone. And now he'll never call me Red again or tease me or...ugh Blake can you just hurry up and get us out of here?!

Sailor Mars slowly walked over to her and slapped her across the face.

Sailor Moon gasped and began crying harder.

"Look Sailor Moon you're an irresponsible child and-"

"Go away Mars I don't need this!" Sailor Moon sobbed, "I know you hate me you don't have to remind me right now!" She glared at her friend through her tears but was shocked to see the fire heroine crying as well.

"Let me finish," Sailor Mars cried, "you're an irresponsible child and I gotta admit I thought you as our leader was a terrible idea. But...I was wrong. You're a great sailor scout and a great leader. I mean just look at how you handled Neo all by yourself. None of us could do that."

"She's right," Sailor Jupiter said, "and c'mon guys let's leave her be a bit huh? This is a big deal for her."

"I agree," Sailor Mercury said before removing her visor, "and good news. I found our exit."

Sailor Venus put her arm around Sailor Moon, "c'mon sis why don't we all go get something to eat? Unwind a little?"

Sailor Moon wiped the last of her tears, "yeah...I-I'd like that."

"Well I'm sorry but that'll have to wait," a voice said.

The girls all looked up to see Roman hovering above them via his magic.

"Hand over the crystal, princess," he ordered.

The sailor scouts stood protectively in front of Sailor Moon.

"You want that crystal. You're gonna have to get through me first," Sailor Venus said, "hey Jupiter wanna tag team this guy?"

The lightning heroine nodded, "sounds like a plan."

She crossed her arms over her chest and extended her pinkies and pointer fingers upward, "Jupiter thunder crash!"

Bolts of lightning struck Roman but the negaverse general was able to put up a barrier absorbing it instantly.

Sailor Jupiter stared in horror, "it's just like before back at the docks."

"My turn then," Sailor Venus said.

She held her right hand up, pointing skyward, "Venus crescent beams!"

She then pointed at Roman, "Smash!!"

A beam of light shot out of the tip of her finger and hit the center of the barrier surrounding the villain, but, like with Jupiter's lightning, the energy beam was just absorbed.

"You girls can't beat me. There's nothing you can do." Roman said. He held up his own hand and absorbed the attacks the barrier had collected into a energy sphere that had lightning sparking around it.

He threw it at Sailor Venus and Jupiter and the attack knocked the heroines off their feet and flat onto the ground.

Sailor Jupiter shakily got to her feet as she reeled from the effects of the attack, "we need another idea...." She panted.

"Yeah...but what?" Sailor Venus asked.

Roman just stared at the girls before creating another electrified energy ball, "as I said...nothing!"

The two heroines tried to stagger to the side but they weren't quick enough. The attack engulfed them, this time knocking them out.

"Sailor Venus! Sailor Jupiter!" The other scouts shouted.

"I won't tell you again princess," Roman said holding his hand out, "the crystal. Now."

"Sailor Mercury get Sailor Moon out of here," Sailor Mars ordered.

"But-" Sailor Moon argued.

"But nothing our job is to protect you and the crystal. Now go!" Sailor Mars turned back to Roman. She clasped her hands together with her pointer fingers facing upward, "Mars fire ignite!"

The flames burst from her fingertips and went toward Roman but he once again absorbed them and sent them back at the fire heroine. It knocked her off her feet and she hit the ground.

"Sailor Mars!" Sailor Moon yelled.

Roman cracked his knuckles, "well Sailor Mercury are you going to join your friends and try and stop me?"

Sailor Mercury planted her feet, "you bet I am."

The negaverse general sighed, "I really didn't want it to come to this."

With a wave of his hand he telekinetically knocked Sailor Mercury aside and into a wall.

"Now there's nobody to protect you," Roman smirked, "so make this easy and give me your crystal."

Sailor Moon looked around at her friends unconscious bodies, "he beat them like it was nothing," she thought, "then what chance do I have?"

"You can beat him!" A voice said in her mind.

Sailor Moon's eyes widened, "w-who said that?"

"We believe in you princess."

"Show him what you can do."

"You got this little sister."

Sailor Moon realized it was the voices of her friends calling out to her.

"They're counting on me...I have to do this," she thought before she summoned the crescent moon wand.

"This attack is for you my love," Roman thought as he concentrated all the energy he collected from the scouts into one final supersized energy ball.

Sailor Moon's eyes glowed as did her imperial crystal, "cosmic moon power!" the wand and her silver eyes both let out a bright beam of light.

It wasn't as strong as her attack against Neo but it still blasted away Roman's attack and blew a hole into the wall of the tower.

When the light faded away the negaverse general was nowhere to be found. He had fled.

Sailor Moon sighed in relief, she had won. For now.

Roman teleported back into Salem's throne room. The dark queen had her back to him.

"My Queen I-" but Salem cut him off with a raise of her hand.

"Not now Roman I need concentration."

In front of her was a strange obsidian coffin. The coffin's crystal lid was closed but Roman could see Oscar laying inside it. Magic coursed throughout it.

"Tell me again," Queen Salem ordered, "who are you?"

"I'm Oscar Pine," Oscar muttered in his sleep, "but I am also Ozma, Prince of Remnant."

"Not for long," Queen Salem said, "soon you'll be a soldier for the negaverse. Once your memories have been erased that is. And your first assignment is taking back the silver crystal from Princess Ruby."

Sailor Moon closed her eyes as she watched the setting sun from the top of Beacon Tower. Sailor Mercury had managed to get them all home after all.

"I don't know where you are Tuxedo Mask," she said, "but I'm here for you. And I won't give up until I find you."

"Here she is," Sailor Venus said, "hey sis we were looking for you."

"Hey..." Sailor Moon said.

"We just want you to know. We're with you. Until the end," Sailor Jupiter said.

Sailor Moon smiled, "I know. Thank you girls."

"You did wonderful today Sailor Moon," Zwei said, "I know your mother would be very proud."

He then turned to the other scouts, "Summer would be proud of all of you. I know the fights are just going to get harder but we can do it."

Sailor Mercury nodded, "we have to."

The scouts then joined their leader and together they enjoyed watching the sunset.
