It had been a couple days since Jenni had found out the truth about Adam. But, despite knowing what a bad person he was, she found that she couldn't get the man out of her head. He seemed to consume her every thought.

Ruby knew this and decided that a walk around the city would be the best thing for her friend. But Jenni was dragging her feet and looked miserable.

Ruby placed her hand on Jenni's shoulder, "we need to figure this out. We need to find a way for you to forget about him."

Jenni sighed, "it's not that simple Ruby. I can't just forget about someone I love. I mean isn't there someone you're crazy about?"

The redhead thought about Tuxedo Mask and nodded.

"Well how easy is it for you to forget about him?" Her friend asked.

Ruby thought about her constant dreams about the masked hero and she sighed, "ok I see your point."

She then took her friend's hand, "but that doesn't mean that I still can't try and help you move on. C'mon let's go to the arcade."

Jenni merely nodded and let her best friend take her down the street.

Now speaking of Jenni's crush he was sitting in his room in Salem's castle studying his dark crystal. Despite everything that had had happened he refused to believe that the reason the crystal had reacted to Jenni was due to her love for him.

"The reason the dark crystal reacted is because Jenni is the holder of the silver crystal. That's the only logical explanation."

Adam then realized though that if he was going to get the silver crystal from Jenni he would have to attack her again. For some reason that thought made his stomach churn.

He stood up and clenched his fists, "I'm going soft for a human girl. What's wrong with me?" Shaking his head to clear his mind he added, "I saw how protective Sailor Moon was over Jenni, they must be close friends. So maybe she knows who Sailor Moon is, if so then maybe I can take her out and get the crystal at the same time. That will solve both my problems."

He took one last look at his reflection in the crystal's surface and noted how conflicted and upset he looked. But he ignored it as he teleported to Remnant.

Neo, however, had overheard everything and she knew that now was the time to execute her own plan.

In Vale it was now late at night and pretty much everyone was asleep. Adam went from house to house holding up his dark crystal. He knew if it started to react then there was a good chance that Jenni was nearby.

Sure enough he hadn't gone far when the crystal began pulsing with a bright blue light. Adam looked up at the building he was in front of and saw a window that was covered by pale purple curtains. He teleported up to the room's balcony and the dark crystal began to glow brighter.

"Jenni has to be in here," the man said to himself.

He phased through the window and found that he was in a small bedroom. In the center of the room was a bed and laying in it, fast asleep, was Jenni.

It was pretty clear what, or rather, who, the teenage girl was dreaming about and that's what the crystal was reacting too. Adam held the dark crystal over Jenni's sleeping form and waited for the silver imperial crystal to materialize in front of him. But, to his annoyance, it didn't.

"Jenni doesn't have the silver crystal." He growled, "if this means that the dark crystal really was just reacting to her silly crush on me then I've been doing nothing but going in circles!"

He phased back out of the room onto the balcony and stood there for a moment thinking of what to do. Oddly enough though he felt the same strange sensation from earlier in his stomach when he realized just how much the teenage girl cared for him. If it was enough to make the dark crystal react then there was a lot more love energy coming from her then he originally thought.

Jenni rolled over in her bed and saw Adam's shape on her balcony. She gasped and nearly fell out of bed.

"A-Adam?! What are you doing here?"

Adam swore audibly when he realized that he had been caught.

Jenni stood up and opened the curtain coming face to face with the negaverse general. Slowly she placed her hand on the window, "is something wrong?"

The auburn haired man was about to leave without answering her question when something deep inside him compelled him to stay.

"I came to tell you something...I-I've realized how much I care about you too. You've taught me how to understand love for the first time. There's no love among my people in the negaverse, just hatred and animosity, lies and betrayal. Everyone there is a ruthless creature out for nobody but themselves. I thought that it was the same everywhere, until I came here and met you. So now I want to join the sailor scouts and fight back against the negaverse. But I can't do it without you Jenni, please if you know who Sailor Moon is can you tell me?"

Jenni teared up, "I'm sorry...but I don't know who she is. But I believe you really I do."

Adam lowered his head, "I see, well if you can't help me then I'll be on my way."

With that he vanished leaving the blue haired teen alone. He knew that if Jenni really did know who Sailor Moon was then she would find a way to contact her and then he would make his move.

Strangely enough though telling Jenni everything that he just did only made the strange feeling in his stomach worse. Usually he could lie no problem, but this time was different. He felt as if he had betrayed Jenni somehow, and the thought hurt.

As Adam teleported away Neo came out from her hiding spot on the top of the building. Her associate may not know what strange feeling was going on inside him but Neo knew.

"How funny," she laughed, "Adam's fallen in love with that girl."

"What should we do about it?" Asked another voice.

Neo turned face the negaverse soldiers known as the Pastel Emeralds. Each one of these female soldiers was perfectly identical, except for their hair and outfit color. Aside from the commanders they also happened to be the strongest fighters in Queen Salem's army.

"We should destroy him now right?" Green Emerald, with her green hair and brown and white outfit, said.

Neo shook her head, "not now." She spoke telepathically, "Adam is very powerful, we'll attack him when he's vulnerable. And to do that I say we snag that little girlfriend of his. We can use her to lure him into a trap."

"Perfect plan Miss Neo," said Red Emerald, with red hair and a black and red ensemble.

Ruby snapped awake as her phone began ringing.

"Who on Remant is calling me this late?!" She asked as she fumbled for the phone in the darkness.

"Ruby?" Jenni asked as her friend picked up.

Ruby yawned. "Jenni? Why are you calling me this late?"

The teenager sighed on the other end, "I'm sorry...I just didn't know who to call. Adam showed up at my house asking me to help him find Sailor Moon. But I don't know how to help him because I don't know who she is. I was just feeling so miserable that I had to talk to someone."

The redhead paused for a second to let her friend finish. "Well do you feel better now?"

Jenni sniffled, "yeah I do. I think I'm gonna go back to bed now. Thanks for listening Rubes."

With that she hung up, but Ruby wasn't totally convinced her best friend was fine. Something was telling her that Jenni was in trouble. So she quickly woke Zwei and the two snuck out of the house and headed to Jenni's.

Adam was watching from the shadows as the girl and the corgi ran down the street. He then used his magic to twist the environment around her making the roads twist, turn, buckle, and break apart.

Ruby placed her hand on her locket as she struggled to keep her balance. "Something from the negaverse has to be the one doing this and I'm gonna put a stop to it. Moon prism power!"

Her locket glowed and turned her into Sailor Moon.

Adam's laugher then cut through the air as the streets returned to normal. He materialized in front of the heroine, "thank you for being so kind as to showing me who you really are Sailor Moon."

Sailor Moon paled, "oh...umm...hey Adam. Uh any chance you can forget you saw all that?"

He smirked and was about to blast her with his magic when a voice caught his attention. Adam could hear Jenni calling to him, asking him for help.

"Jenni..." Adam muttered.

He looked to Sailor Moon then back toward Jenni's home.

"I have no time for a fight now. But now that I know who you are Sailor Moon I can attack you whenever I please. See you around."

With that he teleported back to Jenni leaving the young heroine very confused.

Adam reappeared in Jenni's bedroom but the teenager was nowhere to be found.

"Jenni? Jenni I'm here where are you?!" Adam asked, surprised at how frantic his voice sounded.

He spotted a note on her bed and picked it up. It was a ransom note from Neo. All she had written was that Adam was to give her his dark crystal if he valued Jenni's life.

The negaverse general clenched the note in his fist. There was no way he was going to let Neo kill Jenni. One way or another he was going to save her.

A few streets over Jenni was chained to a wall inside an abandoned building.

"What's taking so long?" Red Emerald asked.

"If he doesn't come soon I say we have fun with this girl.." Green Emerald said.

The twosome then looked up as they heard a door open and saw Adam walk inside.

"So happy you could come," Green giggled.

Adam crossed his arms, "let Jenni go. Now."

The two soldiers exchanged looks and shook their heads.

The man summoned a sword with a blood red blade and charged at the two women.

Red sent out strange seeds balls from her hands which caused everywhere the balls touched to erupt into flames. Green on the other hand could turn her nails into giant thorns and she used them to defend herself against Adam's sword strikes.

Soon enough though the much stronger fighter had punched Red in the stomach knocking the wind out of her and rendering her incapacitated. He then pinned Green to the wall and held his sword to her throat, "I'm not letting Neo have Jenni...I mean my crystal. And you can tell her that from me. Got it?!"

He dropped her to the floor and made his way to the captive teenager. Using his sword he cut her free and carried her bridal style out of the building.

"Thank you for saving me," Jenni said blushing.

"No problem," Adam said. His face then fell, "Jenni you should know that I've been lying to you ever since we met and I'm sorry to say that I'll probably keep lying."

The girl smiled a tiny bit, "that's ok, you may have been lying with your words but your heart hasn't fooled me."

"My what?"

"Your heart. Do you not-" but before Jenni could finish what she was saying she felt something warm drip onto her pajama sleeve. She looked up at Adam to see that his right bicep was bleeding due to a cut from one of Green's thorns.

"You're hurt!" She exclaimed.

Adam looked at his arm, "I'm ok Jenni it's just a scratch."

The teen climbed out of his arms and took his hand in hers, "it's not ok. You got that cut from saving me. C'mon the park is nearby I'll fix you up there."

Once they made it to the park the twosome sat down under a tree. Jenni then told Adam to take his jacket off, which he did, revealing a red t-shirt underneath.

Jenni bit down on the edge of her pajama shirt and tore the fabric. Once she had ripped a sizable piece off she wrapped the cloth around Adam's arm like a makeshift bandage.

"Thanks Jenni," Adam said.

He then paused, "hey earlier you said something strange. You said that my heart hadn't deceived you. What exactly do you mean?"

Jenni looked up at him, "I know that you act cruel and ruthless but that's not really who you are. I've seen the way you talk to me, I can tell you care about me. That shows you're a good person it's just buried a little bit." She laid her head on his chest to hear his heartbeat, "you know this may sound weird but I had a dream tonight about you and me. In it we were having a date at this cafe downtown where they serve a delicious chocolate parfait."

Adam raised an eyebrow, "a chocolate parfait?"

The teen nodded, "yeah...have you ever had one?"

"Umm....s-sure I have."

Jenni giggled, "you're lying again Adam."

His face reddened.

But Jenni had a smile on her face, "it's ok though. You're only lying because you want me to be happy."

"Well," Adam then said, "if you want we can go get one sometime."

"Really?"

He chuckled, "do you think I'm lying?"

The blue haired teen began laughing as well, "no. And that's the first time I've heard you laugh. I like it."

Adam actually smiled at that and was about to bring his friend closer into his embrace when he saw movement out of the corner of his eye. He quickly shoved Jenni out of the way as Green sent her giant thorns right toward them. Unfortunately the negaverse general wasn't able to get himself out of the way quick enough and the thorns pierced right through his right shoulder.

Jenni screamed in horror as Adam fell to the ground clutching his wound.

Green smirked, "you've lost your touch it seems. The Adam we know from the negaverse would've been able to avoid that. No matter those thorns of mine will suck you of your life energy until you crumble to dust."

Adam tried to yank the thorns from his arm but that only made the dark magic drain his energy faster.

"Adam!" Jenni cried out and she raced over to her friend. She then grabbed onto the thorns as well and began pulling. However, as soon as she touched them they began to drain her energy as well.

"What a stupid girl," Red laughed.

"Jenni stop it!" Adam yelled.

But the teen girl wouldn't listen and tears began to pour down her face, "no I won't stop. I'm not letting you die!"

Surprisingly Jenni was actually able to almost completely pull out one of the thorns. Something that made the Emeralds livid.

Red raised her hand to shoot her explosive seeds toward the pair but Adam managed to pull both himself and Jenni away before they were hit. Unfortunately by moving his body he caused the thorns to drain his energy even faster.

The negaverse general sunk to his knees and his eyes rolled up in his head as he fainted.

Neo then appeared and picked up Adam's crystal which had fallen from his pocket, "how sad Adam." She spoke into everyone's minds, "it seems you lost your crystal and now you're about to lose your life too. But you should've known that the negaverse doesn't tolerate traitors."

With that she and Green Emerald vanished leaving Red to finish the pair off.

Jenni pulled Adam toward her and laid his head in her lap, "please, please wake up..."

Adam's eyes began to open again and his friend watched in horror as his facial features began to change. He grew a pair of bull horns in his hair and his left eye began to gain a nasty looking scar.

"A-Adam? What...what's going on?" Jenni asked.

He chuckled weakly, "well I-I lied to you again. This...this is how I really look. You see negaverse creatures like me were created to look like humans so we could blend in better on this planet. But I was made more to look like the creatures here that you call the faunus. The scar I got from the last time I was on Remnant, so long ago. I've been using my magic this whole time to hide my features. But now these thorns are draining away any power I have left. I can't disguise myself anymore. I'm sorry Jenni...that you had to see me like this."

Jenni began to cry but yet she was still smiling through her tears, "I don't care. And if we're being honest then I should tell you that I've been lying too." Slowly her canine teeth elongated into wolf fangs, "I'm a wolf faunus. I've just always been too scared to say it. I didn't know how my friends would react."

Red rolled her eyes, "alright that's enough of this love fest." She raised her hand to cast her seed bombs once more but a blast of fire interrupted her.

The villainess turned to see the three sailor scouts standing before her.

"How shameful," Sailor Mars said, "you find some strange joy in tormenting people in love."

"We are the sailor scouts and we will punish you!" Shouted Sailor Mercury.

Sailor Moon took off her tiara which promptly turned it into a discus, "moon tiara magic!"

"Mars fire ignite!" Sailor Mars shouted.

The flames surrounded the discus and the flaming projectile was sent straight toward Red Emerald. As soon as it touched her she turned to dust.

Sailor Moon picked up her tiara and put it back on her head. But there was no time to celebrate another victory as the three heroines began to hear Jenni sob uncontrollably.

Adam's breathing was slowing and the little movement he had left was sluggish.

"Adam please...." Jenni begged.

But the faunus man reached up to cup her cheek in his hand, "I'm sorry Jenni. Please forgive me for leaving you." Weakly, he smiled, "and I'm sorry we couldn't have that date."

The teenager began to cry harder.

Adam then felt his body beginning to disappear into dust, so with the last ounce of strength he had he leaned in and kissed Jenni's lips, "goodbye Jenni. Just know that I will always love you."

With that his body turned to dust leaving nothing but the cloth wrapping that had been tied around his arm.

Jenni began to scream and she beat her fists into the ground, "No! No! No! You can't be gone you just can't! Please come back!!"

The sailor scouts could only watch sadly as the wolf faunus wept. But Sailor Moon refused to see her best friend so miserable. Secret identity or not right now Jenni needed her.

Slowly she kneeled down next to her and pulled her into her arms and hugged her tightly.

Jenni burrowed her face into the heroine's shoulder.

"I'm sorry Jenni," Sailor Moon said sadly, "I'm so so sorry."
