Chapter 7

Ibiki tapped the board with a piece of chalk. "Everyone, eyes front. There are a few rules you need to be aware of and I won't be answering any questiones" I sighed. 'This is going to take a while' I thought, knowing exactly why it would take a long time.

"The first rule is that you guys start of with ten points. The test is made up of 10 questions, meaning 1 point each, but the test has a subtraction system. If you answer all questiones you get 10 points, but if you miss 3, then you lose 3 points and end up with 7. The second rule is that this is a team test. Whether you pass or fail will be determined by the combined score of you teammates"

"Wait a second!" Sakura shouted out. I sighed and shook my head. "Why is it a team test?" "Shut up. There is a reason for this. Be quiet and just listen" I could practically hear what she's thinking 'A reason?' I chuckled inwardly.

"The third rule is the most important. Anyone is caught by the testing officers doing any sneaky activities, namely cheating.. will have a 2 point subtraction for every offense." The chunin near me chuckled darkly. "We'll have our eyes on you guys" It was Kotetsu. 'Cheeky Teme'

"The final rule is that, those who lose all their points during the test will be failed along with their two teammates" Sasuke looked as though he wanted to choke Naruto, Sakura.. yeh.. I just chuckled lightly, getting myself one of Sasuke's famous glares.

"The test will last one hour. You may begin!"

Everyone instantly began reading their test papers. You could see Naruto freeking out right away as well. I shook my head and smirking. There was really no point in writing anything down, even if I did know the answers.. but, maybe I should show them how smart I am.. naa.

I lay back in my seat and propped my feet up on the desk. My arms were crossed over my chest and I closed my eyes. 'Perhaps I could catch a few Z's..' Just as I was falling into a peaceful slumber, a kunai knife launched towards me.

I punched it away with my right hand, not hurting myself in the process, and it was sent back the way it came from. I opened one of my eyes. "What?" Kotetsu had wide eyed before glaring "Get out" Sasuke looked my way and scowled at me with the intention to kill.

I chuckled "There's no need for me to leave. I haven't cheated" Kotetsu smirked "Yeh? well, I say you have" "You want me to give you proof of me not cheeting?" He rose an eyebrow as I lifted up my paper and waved it in his direction "I havn't even started yet. So.. tell me. For what reason did you interrupt my sleep?" He shivered at my sweat tone. I really felt like ripping his heart out and feeding it to Sasuke. Why Sasuke? Because he's a duck.

"What's going on here?" Ibiki shouted from the front. I rolled my eyes and waved my hand in a 'nothing much' gesture. "We were just having a little chat. Weren't we.. Kotetsu?" Kotetsu shivered and nodded. "Well then. Get started on your test" I shook my head "There's no need.. right?"

Ibiki gave me a 'how do you know' look. I just shrugged and went back to sleeping. Sadly, someone just had to interrupt it.. again.

I glared at Sasuke "What now?" I whisper yelled. "Why aren't you writing anything down?" I shrugged "There's no need.. I thought I just said that. Anyway, you'll know what I mean by the end" He glared at me and I just smirked.

Finally, I got some sleep, but It wasn't a nice as I wanted it to be. Why? Because my memories came out as a nightmare. I hate it when it does that. I then was woken up by Ibiki's horribly loud voice.

"Alright! We will now start question 10!. Before we get to it. I'd like to go over the added rules for this questione"

I sighed.. "Great, I wake up to have to listen to more annoying questions" I swear I heard Sasuke chuckle from beside me, but that's not possible. "For this question.. you must decide whether to take it or not" "Choose!? What happens if we choose not to?" Temari hollered, beads of sweat falling down her face.

It was silent as Ibiki gave a long pause "If you choose not to.. your points will be reduced to zero. You fail along with your teammates" Some random people shouted stuff in anger and frustration, could no one just sit back and listen patiently? "And now the other rule. If you choose to take the question and answer incorrectly.. that person will lose the right to take the chunin exams ever again"

I chuckled inwardly as Kiba got angry and yelled something.. which I couldn't be bothered to listen to. Just sitting here and listening to the rules was boring enough. "I'll give you a way out.." Ibiki continued "You can choose not to take it.. and try again next year. Now.. lets begin. Those who choose not to take it, raise you hand and leave when your number has been confirmed"

It was silent for a while, until another random guy stood up and raised his hand. He apologised to his teammates and left. I could tell he would get a beating or two later on. 'Poor guy..'

Due to the first guy who left with his team, loads of other people decided to back out. I knew what was going to happen next. Sakura thinks kindly of Naruto for once and goes to quit.. Naruto raised his hand and slams it on the desk.. he gives a huge speach.. we pass.

I really didn't feel like listening to it, so I tuned out of his ~looong~ explanation and stared at Dante. He was just laying there.. sleeping his ass off. I'm sure he's already had enough sleep, so how can he have any more? I pondered on the thought and in the end.. couldn't come up with any other conclusion than: He's a lazy ass.

I was startled out of my staring daydream as Anko crashed through the window. "You guys! This is no time to be celebrating! I'm the examinor for the second test! Mitarashi Anko!! Now, lets go!" *Cricket Cricket* I chuckled under my breath. The room was silent.

"78? Ibiki, you left 28 teams? this time the test was too easy" He shook his head "This time there are a lot of outstanding ones" "Bah! That's fine. I'll just cut them in half in the second exam. I'll explain everything one we've changed places. Follow me"

Everyone stood up and followed Anko out the door. My team gave me a weird look, but left without me as I stayed behind. Dante was still sleeping so I had to go wake him up.

As I walked towards the front of the room, Ibiki spoke "How come you knew?" I smirked and passed him without sparing him a glance "I know everything" Ibiki chuckled and began picking up the papers. "Dante!" I shook him "Wake up. If you don't I'll pour a bucket of water over you" In that instant he shot up "I'm awake, I'm awake. Don't do it" I chuckled and hopped on his back.

"Ok Dante. Onward towards the forest of death" Ibiki glanced at me with wide eyes "How-" "I told you. I know everything" With a wink, we jumped out the broken window and towards my favourite place in the Naruto world. "Finally! We'll get to meet Oro-chan!" Dante chuckled "I still can't believe you want to meet him. So.. are you gonna hug him, ask him how life's going, or just drink tea together and chat for a while?" "Hm.. the hugging sounds good and I think i'll ask him how being evil is for him. But, the chatting won't work. Not enough time on our hands"

"Your scary sometimes ya know that?" I nodded and grinned "Yup. But, you still and always will, love me" He laughed "Your right about that Alexis" "I'm right about everything Dante" He scoffed "Of course you are.. Of course you are.." I ignored his comment and let the wind calm my nerves.

When I arrived, I almost anime fell. Every one was with their teams going to fetch their scolls.

I walked in and Anko came over to me "Did you just get here?" I nodded and she hung her head with a sigh "Alrght. I'll explain everything to you-" "It's alright. There's no need to explain. I already know. I know everything" She raised an eyebrow at me. "Ok.. I guess. Well, go and find you team. The second exam will behin shortly.

I nodded and gave Dante the signal to sniff out the others.

After less then a minute of searching, we came across Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura getting ready at gate number 12. Naruto looked my way "Alexis! Where were you?!" I shrugged "I stayed behind to have a little talk with Ibiki" "Don't lie Alexis. Tell them how we went to the shop to buy some nice food" Dante chuckled.

I glared at him before huffing "Anyway, get ready. It's about time" Sasuke kept sneaking glances my way and every time I turned to look at him, he glanced the other way as though nothing happened. I was slightly confused, but shrugged it off for now due to the more important task at hand.

"The second test of the chunin exams: Begins NOW!"

As soon as the gates swung open, we ran insides. "Ahhh!!" We stopped and the others looked around for the scream. "That.. was a human scream right?" I nodded "Don't worry about it. It's just Kiba's team" "How do you know- doesn't matter. 'You know everything' Right?" Sasuke smirked and I wriggled my eyebrows at him.

It was quiet between us for a moment before Naruto started being Naruto again "I gotta take a piss" Sakura literally flipped "What are you doing in front of a lady, do it in the bushes!" I smirked "It'd be ok if it was Sasuke though right?" She blushed before turning away and ignoring me.

We waited a while for 'Naruto' to came back out.

"Man.. I feel good now" I narrowed my eyes and isntantly took out a kunai, throwing it with the intention to kill. Sakura's eyes widened "Alexis! You didn't have to go that far" I shrugged "Now then. Where's the real Naruto?" I questioned.

Sasuke came and stood next to me, nodding at me in agreement. I decided to let him explain. "Your Shuriken holsters on your left leg, Naruto's right handed. Plus, you don't have a scratch on you cheek. Your transformation jutsu is worse than Naruto's"

'Naruto' wiped his cheek and smirked. He transformed back into himself "Too bad, you figured it out. Which one of you has the scroll?" No one answered. I even forgot who had it. "I'll just take it by force then"

He ran at Sasuke and Sasuke did a 'Mythical fire flower no jutsu'.

The enemy ninja doged and began jumping away. I waited with Sakura for Sasuke to finish him off. "Can't we do some fighting?" Dante pleaded. I shook my head "Not yet. But soon ok?" He nodded reluctantly, still wanting to bite the fudge out of someone.

The fight carried on while I just lay on Dante's back, as if my team wasn't even fighting anyone. In the end Sasuke got to stab him, but the enemy got away anyway.

We all sat on the grass. Well, they did, I just sat on Dante's comfy furry back. "We need a password. If they get the password wrong, assume they are the enemy no matter what they look like" Sasuke stated the password to them.

I, on the other hand, knelt down on the ground behind them and glared. I knew Oro-chan was down there eavesdropping. My heart sped up in excitement. With a last glance and a knowing smirk, I walked back over to the others. "Did you get that Alexis?" Sasuke questioned, face expressionless. I shook my head - no "I couldn't care less about a password. If you come across me, i'm sure you'll know if it's me or not"

Sakura was about to protest, when suddenly, a large gust of wind came our way and blew the others away from each other. I pushed Dante behind me and held my hand out in front of me. Using the power of repulsive forces, I repelled the wind coming my way, leaving me unharmed.

Once it stopped, I went off to find the others already yelling and throwing stuff at Naruto. I sighed. "We really do always miss all the action, don't we" Dante nodded "True dat. It's not fair. I want to sink my teeth into him" He said with a dark chuckle. I shook my head "Your not strong enough to beat Oro-chan, Dante. I could though. I think..." I pondered on the thought, not coming to a conclusion. I'd have to try first hand to find out.

'Naruto' Transformed back into the 'rain' ninja and smirked. "How did you know? That I was a fake" Sasuke smirked back "I knew that you were listening in underground and I'm pretty sure Alexis did as well.." He glanced my way. I was leaning against a tree, arms folded, smirking widely and nodded.

Sasuke continued "That's why I decided to make a password. There's no way Naruto would remember something like that, so you had to be a fake" 'Rain' ninja smiled sadistically "I see.. this'll be more fun then I thought" She (He) took a hold of her (his) earth scroll with that long tounge "You want my earth scroll, since you guys have the heaven scroll, right?"

And you know what he does next.. he ate it. Sasuke and Sakura looked freaked out. Who wouldn't be though. He just ate something of such a size and didn't choke to death.

Oro-chan then showed them their own deaths, I also saw mine, but it didn't scare me one bit. I saw it over and over again and In the end, when it went away, I began laughing. "That was.. hilarious!" I glanced over to Sasuke and Sakura. They were both on the ground shaking, scared out of their witts.

"Hm.. you were not affected?" Oro-chan asked, face clearly showing his confusion. I shook my head "I've seen and gone through worse than that. You need to try harder Oro-chan" I slapped my hand over my mouth. "You weren't supposed to tell him you knew. Idiot!" Dante yelled angrilly. I scratched the back of my neck "Sorry Dante. It just slipped out. But, I can go hug him now right?" Orochimaru gave me a weird look, probably from the hugging thing.

I was too caught up in my own conversation, that I didn't notice Sasuke jump away with Sakura, leaving me and Oro-chan alone for a short while.

He turned to me and licked his lips. "Who are you?" I shrugged "No one that you need to be concerend about.. or maybe you do.." I scratched my chin in thought. "Oh well" I bowed "It's a pleasure to meet you Orochimaru" "..How do you know?" I smirked and hopped on Dante's back again. He jumped up into the trees and I shouted back "I know everything!"

When I found Sasuke and Sakura, the snake was already fighting him. "Wow, he's fast" Dante began laughing and we went over to the trees where the large battle would soon begin.

I stayed back and watched as Naruto appeared and started argueing with Sasuke. The stupid idiot thought about giving our scroll away. It was more fun to watch than when watching it on the tv. I had to laugh at the part when Narto stole the scroll back though, Dante joined in as well.

Orochimaru then, just like in the show, summoned his large snake. I didn't think i'd actually be that large, but WoW! "I wanna fight now Alexis!" Dante wined. I nodded "Then go get rid of that snake" I jumped off of him and landed on a nearby branch. "Ready? Go!"

He was about to leap towards it, when Naruto shouted "Eat shit!" And pummeled that large reptile in the nose. Naruto crashed into a branch, but the snake went for it's next prey - Sasuke. Just as the reptile was about to eat him whole, Naruto jumped in front of it and stabbed it with two kunai.

"Hey! You.. alright.. Scardy-cat?" Naruto's eyes were red and were in slits. "It's really an amazing sight watching it first-hand isn't it Alexis" I nodded. '..Kurama..' I frowned 'Why don't you try talking to him?' Jubi didn't speak back. I sighed and continued watching intently.

Naruto and Sasuke were having a staring contest, when Oro-chan picked him up by his tounge and brought him closer. "Hehe.. so the nine-tails brat is still alive huh?" Naruto tried to struggle out from his grasp "When your angry, the power of the nine-tails overflowers.. very interesting" He lifted up Naruto's shirt and the seal was fully visible.

All of a sudden, his 5 fingers were lit aflame and he smashed his hand into Naruto's seal. "Five part seal?" I nodded "Yeh.. he used it to block the flow of Naruto's chakra" Once Oro-chan had taken the scroll from Naruto, he threw the now unconscious boy away like a piece of trash. Luckily, Sakura used her head and threw a kunai to stop him from falling to his death.

"Everything's going just as planned... even with us here" Dante stated, probably confused. I nodded "Your right.. it should have at least changed a bit.."

Looking back to the others, I saw Sakura snapping at Sasuke "It's true that unlike you, Naruto is clumsy and can get in the way but.. At least he's not a coward! Right!!" Sasuke was shaking and I knew what from. He was thinking back to that night; Back to what Itachi had told him.

After a second, he opened his eyes as the Sharingan. I smiled, proud that he got past his scared fase and is finally ready for action. Dante and I then made the decision to sit this out, but just until Sasuke gets bit. We can't distrupt anything, so Sasuke has to go through this.

We watched as in excitement as Sasuke did the 'Sharingan windmil triple attack' and got him tied to a tree. Then, using 'fire style - dragon flame jutsu' Sasuke set the wires on fire. The fire flew down the wire at an amazing speed, scorching Oro-chan in the process. Dante howled softly "Well, at least we now have a fire" I anime fell whilst laughing. "You can always make a bad situation turn funny, can't you" He grinned and winked.

Oro-chan's screams filled our ears. God was it loud. However, I knew that this wasn't going to kill him and that time was almost here.

As the fire went down, Sakura jumped over to Sasuke, who was currently panting and out of breath "Sasuke! You did it. Are you ok? Don't worry.. it's all over" I smirked "Tut, tut, tut. Should never take your eyes off you enemy"

They didn't seem to notice Oro-chan as he broke the wires and stepped forward. Putting his hands together, the two genin's bodies froze. "Impossible" Sasuke exclamined, barely able to stand. "Such mastery of the sharingan" Oro-chan started changing the symbol on his headband into the symbol of the sound village "Your a true Uchiha after all. Yes.. you'll do nicely" Sasuke struggled and cried out in pain "You are definitely his brother. If anything, you eyes are even keener than Itachi's"

"Who the hell are you!?" Sasuke demanded. Oro-chan burnt our heaven scroll and said "My name is Orochimaru. If you want to see me agani..then survive and pass this exam. First though, you'll have to defeat the hidden sound ninja who serve me" I smirked knowing exactly who he was on about. I couldn't wait to meet them either.

"We don't know what your talking about but, why don't you just beat it. We never want to see you again!" Sakura shouted, still out of breath from the fear he made her feel. Oro-chan then licked his lips and smirked before his neck stretched for Sasuke.

It was over in a matter of seconds. Oro-chan bit Sasuke and gave him the heaven curse mark. Sasuke doubled over, clutching his neck in pain. The curse mark is taking it's toll. "You!" Sakura started "What have you done to door!?" "Hehe.. it's a parting gift. Sasuke will seek me out. He'll desire my power" 

I knew that any moment he was gonig to leave and Dante and I really wanted to have a fight. So, I jumped down from my spot on the tree, Dante following suit, and stood before Sasuke and Sakura. "Alexis..?" I glanced at her over my shoulder "Go! Take Naruto and Sasuke and leave" She looked at me in shock "But what about you?"

I smiled slightly "It's fine. I can take care of myself. Besides, they need your help more than ever right now" I gestured to the two unconscious boys "Just go!" She looked reluctant about the idea, but nodded and carried Sasuke to where Naruto was.

As soon as they were gone from out sights, I turned to Oro-chan and glomped him but, It only lasted a second as I didn't want to die from being unguarded. He looked at me as if I was crazy and I chuckled "I'm sorry, I just couldn't help myself. Anyway, I have a question" "I see.. what is it?" Sitting on Dante's back I started "Ok well, what's it like? Ya know, being a snake"

He blinked and then chuckled "I don't think this is the time for chatting, do you?" I nodded "I do, because after i'm finished with you.. you'll be dead" Dante snickered from my comment and Oro-chan didn't seem to pleased to be honest.

I hopped back off Dante and shoo'd him away "Aww.. but you said that you'd let me fight as well" "I did.. but, I want to fight Oro-chan. Can't you fight Dosu or someone tomorrow. You could even save Sakura when Kin holds her by her hair. Maybe they'll all start to like you" He huffed, but complied and jumped far away.

Oro-chan kept looking me over. I rose an eyebrow "What?" "How do you know Dosu and Kin?" "Seriously! I keep telling people this, but they just don't listen. I.Know.Everything!" "..I see, you can see the future huh?" I blinked once.. twice.. a third time and then double over clutching my stomach as I laughed my ass off. "Y-yeh.. you could say it's something like that"

This is going better than I thought. He thinks I can see the future, but It is actually kind of like that.

After I stopped having a stupid laughing fit, I put on my serious face. "Lets fight Oro-chan" He licked his lips with that crazy long lounge of his. "Gladly"

As soon as those words left his lips, I shot forward, Kunai in hand. My speed was as fast or probably even faster than Guy's. At the last second, he brought out his own Kunai and the metal clashed together. I jumped back before launching myself again. 

I decided to summon my Shakuji. I swung it at his legs, trying to get him off his feet. He did so and I took out some shuriken and threw them at him. He did some handsigns and breathed out a large ball of fire. I was in the fires line of view, so I quickly dodged and climbed up a tree before launching myself at him and swinging my long staff again.

We went on like this for and let me tell you something, it lasted a while. I launched a kick to his left side, he block with his left arm and grabbed my ancle. He threw me at a nearby tree but, I twisted around in mid-air and as my feet collided with the tree, I sprung off and threw myself back to Oro-chan.

We kept on going for a bit longer, but I got bored, so I flipped back a few meters. "This is getting boring. Is this all you are?" He smirked "Not at all Lex-chan" A nickname? From the pervy snake man.. cool.

Oro-chan bit his finger and did a summoning Jutsu. A large snake appeared and was coming right at me. I yawned and stuck my hand at it. Using the repulsive force, this allowed me to repel the snake and force it backwards. It's large body crashed through many trees and after the 5th I let it fall to the forest ground, unconscious.

Oro-chan rose his eyebrows at my power before a look of confusion crossed over his features. "That power.. is that same as Nagato's" I cursed under my breath "I forgot you used to be in the Akatsuki. Don't go telling people ok?" He chuckled darkly. "I see now. You have the rinnegan" I sighed "Your half right and half wrong about that" He tilted his head in confusion, but I didn't answer his unspoken questions.

I reached into my pouch. Everytime I enter a big fight, I put that on. It grants me good luck. Father gave it to me all those years ago. I grow sad just by thinking about him. Smiling, I placed a necklace with 6 red magatama around my neck. This necklace is special.

I looked up at Oro-chan to see him eyeing the necklace "Thats.." I smirked and got into a fighting stance, revealing my eyes at the same time. I sweaer I heard him gasp, but he's Orochimaru and doesn't get surprised easily.

I took out a kunai knife and many paper bombs before charging his way. This time, he came at me as well. We both clashed in the middle and we both kicked, punched and dodged each other. I flipped backwards, kicking his chin in the process and when I landed I threw the kunai with a paper bomb attached to it at him. It stuck right into his right shoulder and at contact, blew up.

I shielded myself from the explosion with my arms.

Smoke was still around and I couldn't see Orochimaru anyway. I looked in every direction and kept my guard up. "Looking for someone?" I flinched as his cold voice reached my ears. "How-I should have sensed you" He chuckled darkly "Oh Lex-chan.. You shouldn't underestimate me" He had an arm around my waist, keeping me from moving. I have to say, even if i'm fast and strong, I'm still only 13 years old.

The smoke cleared and there stood Oro-chan.. but it was only his skin. So, he protected himself that way huh?

I was stupid not to notice this and now I'm in a not-so-good predicament. I groaned "Can you let go?" "I don't think I will" "Why not?" "Because you'll attack me again" "Well duh!" I deadpanned "this is why i'm still here. To fight you" He began laughing darkly. It sent shivers down my spine due to the closeness. All of a sudden I felt teeth sink into my back, in between my shoulders. I knew this pain and didn't like it, but unlike Sasuke, I can take it.

I winced in pain before shouting "Dante!!" I heard a lowl growl from behind and guessed Dante already knew he had to help me. "Urgh!" Oro-chan hissed.

This was the moment, I jumped out from his loosened grasp and flipped through the air. When I was upside down, I threw a kunai knife with a few strong paper bombs his way. "Dante!? hurry and get out of here!" He nodded and leaped through the trees.

Orochimaru just dodged the kunai and probably thought 'ha! she missed' But, this was my plan. Right where I used to stand was a paper bomb as well. It had flammable wire attahed to it which was spread around a ton of trees surrounding us.

The bomb went off and the last thing I saw of Orochimaru was his smirking face as the surrounding trees blew up, crashing down in a matter of seconds. I was just in some of the trees line of fire and fell with them. My right arm had gotton caught underneath the rubble.

I let out a rough cry of pain as my nerves were cut away from the metal. Dante was nowhere in sight. Did he get out? Was he hurt? Those questions were going through my mind.

"Alexis! Where are you?" I looked around but couldn't see him anywhere "I-I'm down here Dante!" I heard a rough 'thud' as he landed in front of me. His eyes grew wide and I chuckled "H-hey there. You.. think we got 'em?" "This isn't the time for idle chit-chat. You have to get your arm out of there" I nodded and knew that the only way was to pull it lose.

"Ahh!" My scream filled the night sky as I finally got loose. The only problem? I now have no right arm. "Shit! That hurt. Just like the time I actually lost it!" I stood up shakily, but fell from the pain. Luckily, Dante caught me and lifted me onto his back.

"Are you ok Alexis?" I nodded slowly. "I'm going to have to replace this when we get back home, won't I?" "Yeh, but why not when we get back to the tower?" I chuckled darkly "I want to freak everyone out. What would you think if you just saw someone come back from the forest of death without an arm?"

He laughed "I'd be freaked out" "Uhuh.. Anyway, just go and sniff the others out ok?" "Yeh sure, you have a rest. You didn't use much strength during the fight, but having your nerves cut away like that must have caused you body to stress" I nodded and watched as Dante slowly carried me back through the trees. I winced every time he accidentally jumped too roughly.

'Great.. Lost my arm a second time and on top of that, he bit me. Great first day Alexis!' I clapped for myself mentally.

A/N Hmm.. long chapter. So, finally figure out who her dad is? I've given you a clue ;)
