Arthur's POV

Alfred smiled at me as he led me threw the forest, "Do you like our home?" he asks.

I nod, "yes, i like it a lot," i say honestly.

Alfred smiles and walks out of the forest and onto a street, "I'm glad. Does this mean you'll stay?" he asks hopefully.

I chuckle and nod, "of course I'll stay," i say as i smile at the taller male.

He hugs me tightly, "awesome!" he nearly shouts.

I wince at the loudness and his tight grip, "Bloody hell. You're strong...." i say as he sets me down.

"Did i hurt you?" he asks worriedly.

"Not really, you surprised me a bit," i answer.

He only nods, he has a look like a dog who was denied a treat. His ears laying sadly against his skull and tail hanging limp.

I sigh softly and gently hold his hand.

His ears perk up in surprise and confusion.

I merely smile and continue walking.

He smiles and gently squeezes my hand. Our tails tangle with each other

Once in town we search around for the things Alfred had wanted to get. By the time we'd finished it was getting rather dark out.

I yawned loudly and stretched a bit.

"How about we get a hotel room for tonight?" he offers as he gently holds my hand.

I nod, "but what about the others?"

"I'll call Alex and let her know we're ok."

I nod and we walk to a decent looking Motel 6.

While he checks in, i look at some of the tourist brochures. I pick up one for an amusement park. I smile softly and hold onto it. Maybe i could convince Alfred to take me tomorrow.

Speak of the devil... what is he doing?

I turn and look at him, he's finishing up with the man at the counter. He walks over to me and holds my hand gently, "ready to go?"

I blush a little and nod.

He holds my hand as we walk to the room. I notice it only has one large bed.

I raise an eyebrow and look at him.

He smirks and kisses my cheek, "I'm going to shower, join me if you want," he says huskly and walks away. Leaving me a blushing mess.

I lay on the left side of the bed and curl up in a nervous ball.

He comes back with only a towel covering himself.

I squeak and blush. I hide my face in the plush pillows.

He chuckles and lays beside me, "don't be nervous, and don't be scared, i would not do anything you don't want," he says in a soft, reassuring voice.

I turn my head a bit so i can see him. His face shows nothing but sincerity and slight amusement.

I nod and lay on my side facing him. "I trust you," i say as i blush.

"Good, wanna watch some tv?" He asks.

"Sure," i say as he turns on a horror movie.

I roll my eyes a bit at the ridiculousness of the movie and the characters. "Bloody hell... they could have all lived easily!" I said at the end of the movie. "I mean seriously! I get it's a live or die situation but come on." (You get a cookie if you guess what movie they watched)

Alfred was visibly shaken and had his face burried in my shoulder.

I looked over at him worriedly and gently pet behind his ears. He looked up at me and smiled a little.

"It'll be alright, it's just a silly movie," i said, trying to reassure him.

He only nodded and wrapped his arms around my waist, "you're like a teddy bear!" He says as he pulls me in his lap.

I blush and chuckle softly. I test my head on his chest and listen to his heartbeat.

He slowly lays down with me on his chest.

He gently kisses the top of my head and holds me close to him.

"Hey... Artie?" He asks softly.

"Yes?" I reply tiredly.

"If i say sonething will you promise not to laugh, or get angry with me?" He asked worriedly.

"I promise," I say as i sit up as bit.

"I-i really like you... like... a lot... a-and i was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me..." he says with his eyes closed.

I smiled and pecked his cheek, "alright, I'd like that," i say.

His eyes widen, "r-really?!" He says in excitement.

I nod and chuckle.

He smiles and kisses me softly on the forehead.

"Can we please get some sleep?" I ask as i yawn.

He nods and pulls me back to his chest. We fall asleep like that.
