Welcome, welcome to the new and (hopefully) improved RWBY Academia! And before you start saying some rather peculiar curse words or something, I felt that it needed a reboot. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

My name is Midoriya Izuku, and I live in a world full of dark creatures, dust, human hybrids and huntsmen. The dark creatures are known as Grimm, they are the natural enemies of humans and Faunas. Huntsmen are people that fight these beasts for the people, they use their semblances for an advantage and aura for protection. They also use dust for firepower with their own customized weapons from range to close range.

As for me, I had these strange dreams appear everytime I sleep. I see people in my dreams...people that look familiar to me, but...I don't really know them? They wore these extravagant clothes. They appear to be waving towards me as I unconsciously waved back and ran towards them. My dream was shattered as I always wake up with confusion. Why can't I catch up to them? My thoughts were interrupted by my mom entering my room.

"Izuku dear, can you run by Dust Till Dawn for some fire dust, we are running low on it." My mom's name is Inko Midoriya. My dad's name is Hizashi Midoriya. They are both huntsmen with incredible semblances. You would think I would get at least one inherited semblance? No, I got a combination of both! But...I can't trigger it. My mom's semblance is telekinesis and my dad's is flames. Don't get me wrong, I have some control of telekinesis and flames, but it's nowhere near enough powerful as theirs. "Sure Mom! I'll be right back!" Slinging on my green cape and my customized scythe, taking my lien card and my scroll.

Making my way down towards Dust Till Dawn, I heard commotion coming from inside the store, curiosity taking over me, I barged in not knowing I slammed someone with the door. A red blur tackled two men out the window. "Um... what's going on?" I ask as I take out Leviathan (his scythe) and got into a stance. The red blur takes off the hood as I see black hair with red tips at the end. "Oh! Thank you for saving my back back there. Good thing you were there! My name is Ruby Rose, what's yours?" She said kicking the thug in the...nuts. I wince at the cracking sound. "Midoriya Izuku...So I'm guessing these thugs and their ringleader were trying to steal all the dust then?" "Precisely!I love your weapon by the way! It looks kind of similar to Cresent Rose! Howlonghaveyouhaditfor?" Wow, she talks really fast for her stature. "Since I was 10. We should probably go after that guy right?" I pointed to the guy who was climbing a ladder. "Hmph! You're too little too late Strawberry and Kiwi! Bye bye!" "Oh we'll see about that! C'mon Ruby!" Shooting the ground for recoil to get us up there, I barely managed to graze my mess of a hair from the wall. Ruby was the first to react and shoot at the bowler hat guy. "Ta ta!" A fireball was directly fired at Ruby, I reached out for her as my semblance triggered absorbing the fireball. "Tch...that kid might be related to 'him', let's go Cinder."

When we got back down off of the roof, a huntsman (woman) gave us a stern talking. "Do you have any idea how much danger you put everyone around at? Did you even think twice?!" "They were the ones who started it! We finished it! Right Izuku?" Ruby was giving me a pouty face...it looks adorable on her. "She's right. I only came by and my instincts took over." The woman sighed. "I would give you a pat on the back..." Ruby perked up. "...and a slap on the wrist!" And she deflated. "But someone would like to see you two." I pondered. Who would have interest in us? By the looks of things Ruby is almost the same age as me.

"Greetings I am-" "Ozpin! The headmaster of Beacon Academy!" Ruby and I said with excitement! "Oh, so you have heard of me?" "My sister Yang will be attending Beacon this upcoming semester. I'm still too young to be in Beacon though..." "My mom and dad graduated from there Sir. Hizashi and Inko Midoriya." "Ah you're their kid hm? Interesting! Say would the both of you like to attend Beacon early?" "I would love to!" Ruby was estactic. "If my mom would allow me then yes!" "I'm sure Inko isn't that protective." My eyes dull. Ozpin gulps, it looks like he is in for a beating.

When I got back home, my mom hugged me so hard I could barely breath. "Izuku! Are you okay?! You aren't hurt are you?!" She started to cry until her face turned red. "I swear I'm going to rip and tear those people who hurt my sweet Izu!" Uh-oh...everything starts to leviate around me...including myself. "Mom! Can you let me down?!" "Oh! I'm sorry sweetie! Ah... I'm going to make your favorite meal, can you get Eri for me? She's been very distant from us except you." That's right, my mom adopted a white haired child named Eri. She was abandoned supposedly by her parents. Ever since she got adopted, she would stay close to me. As the older and caring brother, she is my top priority. "Sure!" Entering Eri's room, I was tackled by a small white blur. "Big brother! You're home!" "Yup, and I got you something as well." I take out some baked goods (so she can eat for later) and a tiny bow for her hair. Clipping it on, she looked more adorable than ever. "Ah, we got to go eat now. C'mon Eri." "Okay!"
