It's been a week since Helene and her friends arrived at the base and the superhero team is at odds. Helene and her friends have been training at the base, but have began to feel restless and more than a little eager to prove themselves as real superheroes. However, the older heroes consider the students too young for superhero work, and would rather keep them away from the spotlight, wanting them to get some real training before they head off to Arizona.

The teens' chance at real superhero work comes in the form of a press conference. Miss Yulia Kasey-Cole, the richest woman in San Francisco, is hosting a conference concerning the revolutionizing of her company, KC Industries, which had previously been linked to the evil deeds of her family. Yulia knows there are quite a few people out there who would want to see her dead, and has asked Adriana's Squad to stand guard, as they are all in town. Little do the older heroes know, but Helene and her friends have snuck along. At this seemingly safe press conference, trouble is brewing, and the teens may be in over their heads.
