CHAPTER 5

MICHELLE

One sunny morning, I found myself infront of my mirror doing my makeup routine.

After putting my red lipstick, I stood up and grab my pouch at the corner of my table.

I dialed my driver's number and in just one ring, he answered it.

"Lady, the car is ready." I didn't speak and just ended the call.

It's been years since the last I've been here.

I remembered so many painful memories from the past..

Including him.

"Lady?" I was back to my senses when Larry calls me. I just smiled and get insde my car. A minutes after Larry open the door from driver's seat and open the engine.

It's been five years.

Five years of full of happiness and away from pain.

"We're here." Larry said.

I went out and started to browse the area, trying to find them.

"Mommy!" I was surprise when a little hand embrace me and give my hand a kiss. I smiled when I recognized her.

"My teacher gave me a star, look!" She said while showing me her cute little hand to me. She's smiling while her white teeth showing.

"Wow! That's nice baby, very good." I said and give her a plenty of kiss to her cheeks. She giggled while trying to get away.

"Tsk." I stoped when I heard that familiar voice, I chuckled and face him.

"Do you both enjoy your school?" I ask them both but they just shrugged.

We just moved here in California last week, and the kids school are ready even before we arive.

My face became serious when they didn't answer. It's very weird because they both giving me answers if I'm asking, especially Marian.

"Marian? Malvin?" I said while giving them the look. Malvin sigh and decided to answer.

"They said, we're not supposed to be there," my eyebrows raised when I heard them. What did he mean by that?

"What? But why is that?" I said waiting for them to answer but upon hearing their answer makes me worry.

"Because we don't have a father," I smiled forcely and about to speak when someone interupt us.

"Am I not enough, twins?" their sad face turn into a happy one when they heard that familiar voice.

"Popsie!" They both said in unison. I just laughed because of what they called Morgan. Popsie came from a word Pop Candy. They really love that candy which is bought by their Popsie.

"When did you came back?" I ask while looking at them. Marian is in Morgan's arms while Malvin is holding Morgan's hand.

"About an hour," he said simply as if it's nothing. I was shock because he must be having a jet lag.

"What? You must be tired, go home and rest, Morgan," I said and try to get Marian to her arms but he moved it. I look at him but he just pouted his lips.

"I'm not tired, seeing the kids and especially you, makes my energy boost." He said and laughed, I miss him and his corny jokes.

"Mom, Pop, I'm hungry," Marian said and that's when we heard a little noise coming from her little tummy. We all laughed because of her cuteness.

"Let's go, give me Marian and you get Malvin," I said to Morgan which he did. We enter the car Morgan brought. I just texted Larry to go home because we're going out.

After Morgan started the engine, I make sure that the car seat of the two kids are safe and see their belt is also good.

Morgan started the car and drove us for about ten minutes after asking us where we want to go.

"Where do you want to go?" Morgan asked the kids and look at them using the mirror. I look at them too and I saw them staring at each other like what they always do when they both wants to go in the zoo.

"Italian Restaurant!" they both said in unison which makes me and Morgan chuckled for a bit.

They both love Italian Restaurant, even before that we're still in London, they enjoy italian foods just like Morgan.

Fifteen minutes of driving, we finally arrive at an Italian Restaurant. We help the kids unbuckle the seatbelt. Marian is with Morgan's arms, as usual, while Mavin is holding my hand. He said, he don't want to be carry just like Marian because big boy doesn't do that.

Wow, coming from a five year old baby.

We enter the restaurant and I can see that it's already half full and we're so lucky that we made it in time.

Upon entering the exclusive restaurant, one of the staff guide us to one of the table with with exactly numbers of chair for the all of us.

"Please enjoy your stay here," the polite staff said and go back to her place.

"Excuse me," I called the waiter and ask for a menu.

It's not my first time here but I still know some of the foods and some of it are not. So I decided that let Morgan pick our foods for lunch, because he know more italian foods than I do.

After Morgan told the waiter our order, Marian suddenly poked my cheeks and signal me to get down, which is I did,  she hold my face then whisper to my ear.

"Mommy, can I go to the restroom please?" Marian said.

"Sure, let's go sweetie." I help her get down from her chair and headed to the restroom.

"Where are you going?" Morgan asked.

"Restroom, I'll leave Malvin to you okay?" I said and he just nod.

When we reach the restroom, I opened the door and straight to the first empty cubicle.

"Mommy, I know it already." she said when I'm about to come with her inside the cubicle. I just laughed and nod to her.
After she take a pee, I zippered her pants and wash her hands with a soap.

"Baby, Mommy will just go to use the toilet okay? Just wait me here until I'm done." I said closely to her. She smiled at me, showing her white teeth.

"Okay Mommy, Marian will wait," she said and that's make me smile to her, again.

I enter the cubicle that Marian went earlier. I was about to flush it down when I heard Marian shouted. I hurriedly flush it and went outside.

"Marian!" I shouted and there I saw Marian in the floor while infront of her is a little girl that exactly at her age and she's with her mom.

"Marian, sweetie!" I said and help her stand up.

"You should stop her from being a spoiled brat! She bullied my daughter!" The woman said and point my daughter. I shove her hand and face her, which I left in shock. It's good thing that I came back to my senses after.

"M-michelle?" She said while scared and shocked are evident to her face. Her hands are shaking which makes me grinned.

"No, I'm Melissa Scarlet Hudson, It's not so nice to meet you, Miss."

I said, talking to the woman who was one of the reason of all my hardships and pain before.
