Early in the morning I stepped away so dot didn't get hurt waking up in the morning. I grazed and drank a little, I was starting to like the young filly and she knew it. a little while later dot woke up, " good morning mommy!" she said walking over to me and grazed and drank with me. " good morning sweetie" I told her nuzzling her. " are we gonna walk again today?" she asked. " yeah for a little bit. dot I want to try to find a herd for us so we're more safe then just us two walking on our own." I told her. " alright mommy" she told me burrowing into my coat. I didn't ever think we would find dots biological mother but that was okay she was safe with me and cloud wherever she may be knew that. " okay mommy should we get going ?" dot asked. " yes dot I want to try to get as far as possible it's starting to get cold." I told her walking across the creek and she followed closely behind. " mommy, do you ever think we're gonna find cloud?." she asked. " I honestly don't know dot. wherever your mom is she knows your safe with me and I think that was her plan the whole time is for you to he safe with me." I told her. " I'm glad I'm with you I would've frozen we stayed there for weeks in that same field you found us in." she told me. " I think that was the point dot, I don't think your mother wanted you with her." I told her. " well do you want me with you ?" she asked. " well of course I do I can't just leave you here." I said.
