We walked back to where we had settled for the night, " Phoenix are you sure this is where we settled for the night ?" dot asked flicking her tail. " yes we didn't go to far from the resting area, where's your mom?" I asked her. " I don't know?! MOMMY?!?!" she yelled. " be quiet dot we don't want to attract anyone." I told her quieting her down. " sorry Phoenix.." she said. I looked around the area for cloud and I didn't find her, I didn't wanna tell dot that I couldn't find her mom. I walked back to dot " did you find her ?" dot asked. " .. no." I told her. " oh.." dot said lowering her head. " dot don't worry I'll be your adopted mom until we find her." I told her. she looked up at me " really ?!" she said with her eyes sparkling. " yes dot" I told her. " let's get going were not gonna get to far before we have to settle in for the night." I told her walking down the mountain. " okay mommy" she said trotting up beside me. we walked for about a half hour. " dot are you doing okay ?" I asked her. " yeah mommy my hooves are starting to hurt and I'm getting hungry and thirsty." she told me. " I am too and I think we should rest, and eat and drink." I told her. we walked over to the creek and grazed. I soon turned to night and we tested by the creek. " go to sleep dot." I told her. she fell asleep under my legs. I snorted and thought to myself " at least she's safe".
