Mayor Bougerious sits in his office. He knows something is off about Chole. He decides he must speak to Audrey about it at once.  He pulls out his phone and calls her.

       "Yes, dear?"

       "Audrey, darling, it is about Chole."

       "what about her?"

       "She is not herself lately."

       "Not herself, whatever do you mean?"

        "I mean, she stays in her room all the time when she is home. She does not ever bring Sabrina over here anymore. She talks about Adrien nonstop."

         "Hmm, sounds like she has a crush on Adrien Agreste."

          "Yes, but it is unhealthy as he does not show any interest in her. At least no romantic interest anyway."

           "I see then, do not worry.  You can send her here for a few days."

            "What?"

           "Oh, you heard me. Send her here for a few days. She can stay in the hotel with me."

             "Wow, thanks, Audrey!"

             "Do not mention it."

                She mutters, "Ridiculous utterly ridiculous" under her breath.

             The mayor smiles. He is glad Audrey agreed to let Chole join her soon.

              Perhaps a few days in New York will do her some good.  He has no idea how right he might be about the whole thing.  He does not know his daughter sits on her bed with a scowl on her face. He enters her room and hands her a note.

            He sees her sob then watches her pack her bags. He wonders why she did not try to argue her way out of it.  It is not like her. Then, again nothing is like her lately.  The whole thing is rather disturbing.  He hopes on her return she will back to herself again. He can only hope so anyway.

            Andre Bougerious returns to his office and turns on the computer. He selects the Google Chrome web browser. He types  Adrien Agreste's name into the search bar. He takes a look at the computer screen and sees something that makes his jaw drop.

                   "What was this about an AntiAdrien League?" He spoke aloud.

                  He clicks on the link to the article to read more. Nothing prepares him for what his eyes lay upon as he sees the news within this particular news feed. 

           Mayor Andre Bougerious reads the whole thing over twice. Why are so many people angry with Adrien?  

         He knows the lad leaves with his father, a widower, his mother his missing assumed dead, and he is a famous model. None of this helps him understand the whole peculiarities of the matter. 

         "There must be something done at once. Adrien Agreste is not to blame. I am sure of it."

             He grins as he thinks about a strategy. Yes, that will do nicely.

          A few hours later, Chole is on her way to New York with her mother.  

         The mayor is glad.  This way, he can get right to work.

         It is time for Mission Salvage Adrien's Reputation!
