Races and Their Abilities
In my alternate universe, no one of the MCYT are human. So, naturally, they are various other races/species.
ABILITIES USAGE
A player's tallent doesn't drain energy like an talent does but instead comes naturally and of no expense. The eyes of the player also glow when the ability is in use.
METAL CONCERNS
Morflings (Faeries, hybrids, and some uniques), have a weakness to both titanium and copper along with a slight intolerance to iron. Let me explain. Titanium is the rarer of the two and is only obtainable in the main world and cannot be brought back to a server/world. It causes a burning pain to morflings who are touching it directly and prevents them from using their abilities and from changing into other forms/mobs/animals. Copper is found everywhere and only prevents Morflings from using their talents and changing from the morf they currently are in. Essentially, it painlessly 'locks' them in the form they're expressing. Iron does not have this effect, but does give a slight tingling sensation. This gradually increases in intensity over time.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Not races are not classified based on what they look like but by their abilities. Abilities are specific things that only certain races can do and it is not shared with other races.

Races Expounded
HYBRID
There are two sub-classes of Hybrids, Mob and Animal. Both have their similarities, so they are classified as such. Every hybrid has two forms, a humanoid version and a full animal or mob version. In their humanoid version they have key characteristics to that of their animal/mob counterpart. For example, in a wolf hybrid the ears and tail will be present. A hybrid can switch between these two forms on command. Hybrids also have the strengths and weaknesses of their respective mob or animal. For example, they cannot eat the things that they respectful mob or animal cannot eat, and they are more comfortable with the things their mob/animal would eat. Example, a wolf eating meat, and an enderman with coarus fruit.
ELF
There are three types of Elfs, Wood, Sun, and Moon. All Elves have common characteristics. That being their pointy ears, along with the hair that is also a slightly tinted or tipped (just the ends of the hair) color according to their type. Each type of Elf have their own type of talent.
Wood Elves have brown and blond hair and brown eyes. Their ability is to better understand nature, both flora and fauna. This doesn't mean they can fluently communicate with nature, they simply have a better sense of understanding.
Sun Elves typically have yellow or golden hair and green eyes. They are usually more active during the day. This is due to the ability of their kind. They can absorb and redirect the sun's rays when in bright sunshine. Sun Elves are also more energetic during and shortly after being out in the bright sunshine.
You would probably think that Moon Elves are the opposite of the Sun Elves. Well they're not, exactly. The Moon Elves' ability is that they go invisible during the nights of a new and full moon. They also tend to have dark brown or black hair and blue or green eyes.
FAERIE
There are two types of Faeries, Insecta and Avian. All Fae have some gold in their eyes and wings. They also have an additional form they take on. This form can be of any of the other races and the change between the two forms works similarly to that of the Hybrids. Though, if a Faerie has the form of a Hybrid, it is of the humanoid form only, they cannot go full mob or animal. Regardless of what form they take, their eyes always remain the same color and shape. As far as diet goes, Insecta Fae like sweater things, while Avian Fae like more grainy/nutty foods. Though neither have any dietary restrictions as a species.
Insecta are seen as the more delicate and graceful of the two. They have long, sensitive antenna and their wings are shaped like butterflies. Fun fact, Insecta don't have ears in their true/Fae form. They instead use their antennae to 'hear' by sensing the vibrations. Very rarely an Insecta is 'born' as a Dragonfly. Dragonflies have longer, thinner wings and, instead of being solid in color, they are translucent. Dragonflies are the only Fae that have naturally waterproof wings. Although these are the much more rarer version of Insecta and are thought to be extinct at the moment. All Insecta 'shed' their wings every few months and regrow them through a process called molting that involves a cocoon made of silk. All Insecta can spin silk from glands on their wrists and can use it for more than just cocoons.
Avians have more bird-like wings. Their wings are feathered and, like all Fae, brightly-colored. Avians also have a few feathers on the sides of their heads, covering their ears which protects them from the winds when in flight. Their feathers molt once a year. They have a lot of feathers at the end of it and do with them as they please. The feathers are often made into quills or pillows along with much more as Avian feathers are much softer than any other and are larger too. To help keep their feathers healthy and to give them some waterproofing, Avians make an oil in glands on their wrists. The oil is described to smell like sunlight and freedom.
UNIQUE
The unique races are special. This is just the classification for any race that doesn't really match the description of the others and are too few in number be put on separate classes. This is one of the largest classes and is the moss vast as far a variety goes. As there are too many of these to fully describe, I won't bother. Some of the races included here are the Endling and Netherling races. Though there are more to be sure but not all have names.
