Todoroki's POV

My eyelids slowly flutter open and I yawn. I feel a presence beside me and, thankfully, see Izuku asleep peacefully. He looks so adorable when he sleeps, it's different from his typical anxiety filled face.

I smile and lay a hand on his cheek. I'm so glad he is at least a little okay. This boy has been through hell and back. With him losing his mother, his dad being abusive, and that sorry excuse for a king taking him.

I vow that I'll take care of him! He's mine now...nothing will happen to him from here on. I kiss his forehead and get out of his grasp. In hungry but...I won't drink his blood unless I ask him. I get out of bed and run him another warm bath.

I'm sure he'll appreciate it. I role my sleeves up and make sure the water is right. I walk back into our bedroom and shake him awake. "H-hmm" I hear him groan. His emerald green eyes flutter open and the moonlight shines on his tan skin.

I envy the fact he can go into the sunlight. I smile and kiss his cheek. "Goodnight, Izuku" I say and he leans up. "Goodnight, Shouto" he said and yawned. "I ran you a bath" I said and he nodded, getting up.

He goes to the bathroom, strips, and gets into the bathtub. He calls me in and I walk in. I scrub his hair green, fluffy hair with shampoo. I can see the bandages that he had undone on the floor. I sigh and he dunks his head. I wash out the shampoo.

His head comes up and I repeat the process, but with conditioner. He rinses out that. I put some body wash on a washcloth and scrub his body, being careful around his wounds. Soon I'm done bathing him and he pulls the plug on the bathtub drain.

He stand and puts on the towel he had grabbed earlier. I brought him some underwear so he could somewhat cover up while I put bandages on him. I turned away and he put on the underwear. I turned back around, looking at his neck.

"Can I have breakfast, Izuku?" I said, feeling a little bad for asking. Izuku nodded and tilted his neck. I licked his shoulder and bit into it. He didn't even flinch. I drank as much blood as I needed before detaching myself and rubbing my thumb over his shoulder.

I wrapped all of his wounds and kissed his shoulder. Fun fact, pure blood vampires tend to be very possessive over the person, vampire, or Demon they claim. In this case, I am very possessive over Izuku.

After patching up Izuku, he gets dressed and I carry Izuku down to the servants dining room. Vampires can eat but it serves no nutrients. Uraraka brings out some food for Izuku and bows to me. How many times do I need to tell people not to bow to me?

I understand that I'm the prince but I don't feel like I'm higher than others in importancy. I shrug it off and watch Izuku eat his breakfast. "Prince Todoroki" I hear somebody say. I look up and see Denki there.

I nod and he continues. "King All Might had asked for you and your personal servant to meet with him." He says and bows at me. I nod and dismiss him. Izuku looks a little tense but finishes eating. Uraraka comes and takes his plate before we walk out.

I guess we should head to King All Might's kingdom before it's too late there. I carry Izuku to the stables and put him on my horse, I get on after him. I have it so he is facing me an my arms are on both side of him to get to the reins.

I could always use a carriage but I prefer my horse over carriages. I snap the reins and we set off, Izuku latching on to me. "Shouto..why do the royals want me so bad? I am just a normal human...nothing special" he says from his place in the crook of my neck.

"King All Might wants to make you his successor because you're strong. Your will to go on isn't broken after years and years. King Bakugou wants you for power, so he can overthrow the other two kingdoms and be the ruler overall. I wanted you before I knew any of that." I explain and see him looking at me to see if I was lying or not.

"Thank you for not lying to me Shouto" he says and lays his head back where it was. I nod a little and continue the ride to where the humans are. As much as I want to feel sunlight, I love the night sky. It comforts me, honestly.

Once we get there, I get off the horse before tying it up. I lift Izuku off the horse and grab his hand, walking into the castle. A few workers and guards of all three species bow to me. All of then work here because they want to. There aren't and slaves or servants.

I eventually get to the throne room, still holding Izuku's hand. "Ah, Young Prince Shouto and Young Izuku, I'm glad you could make it!" King All Might says and puts down the papers he had in his hands.

I nod and bow, Izuku bowing as well. "Young Izuku, I'm sure you've heard but the rumor is true. I did and still want to make you my successor. Either when you're ready to rule, or when I step down or pass, I want you to be the next king." King All Might says in his normal loud voice.

I look over at Izuku and he looks surprised. "H-hello king All Might. It would b-be such and honor to be your successor!" He says and bows several times. King All Might just smiles and says, "Also, if you're my successor then that would mean you are a prince, therefore royalty. "

My eyes light up and I give a rare, very happy smile. Not a smirk, a smile. Izuku seems to realize why I'm happy and smiles his bright smile. His eyes seem brighter then normal. His eyes used to have dull, sad eyes. After a moment more, Izuku and I head out.

We get out of the palace and on my horse like before. "Shouto, I'm royalty now! That means you don't have to choose anybody else!" He says and hugs me tight while I snap the reins so my horse starts running. I nod and smile.

I was really hoping this would happen. I'm not allowed to be king until there is a queen, and that queen has to be royal or noble. That would unite the kingdoms as well. Aside from the demons, who will still be the way they are.

I smile the whole way to the castle with Izuku hugging me. I am really enjoying being by Izuku's side. We get back to the castle soon and I pick him up bridal style, kicking the door to the horse stable closed behind me.

I walk into the castle with Izuku in my arms and I manage to hide my smile with a smirk instead. Queen Izuku has a nice ring to it, don't you think? I know he's a guy but since the vampires are overall rulers, he would be my queen and not the other way around.

I carried him to my bedroom, getting a few 'Hellos' along the way. I am really happy, I can be with Izuku now.
