"Come on Steph we're gonna be late." Nathan yelled from downstairs. I was touching up my make up then I slipped my heels on. I hadn't slept at home since I and mom's fight which was like yesterday morning. I haven't spoken to Colin or my sister's either. I stayed here instead with Nathan and his family. His mother has been so nice to me.

Colin tried calling but I didn't answer so he sent two voice mails which I don't really want to hear. I did sneak into the house though to get a dress for Alex's party. I wore a red and black lumberjack shirt dress with heeled boots.

My lipstick was blood red and I had on a thick layer of eyeliner. I ran down the stairs to meet Nathan then picked up my gift with was on the kitchen isle. It was the latest PS. Nathan was gonna meet Angela at the party while I would hang out with Seth since Amy was not coming – the boys haven't exactly warmed up to her.

On our way there wild thoughts by Rihanna, Travis Scott and DJ Khaled played on the radio which I danced too. Nathan just kept laughing at my silly moves. Despite the fact that I found out I loved him I hadn't told him. If he has a good thing going on with Angela, I don't want to be selfish and ruin it. I just want him to happy with or without me.

When we not to Alex's house the music was really loud with drunk kids everywhere, girls walking around half naked and some really ignorant people shagging on the lawn. Well not shagging but making out.

We walked in I handed Alex his gift and kissed him on the cheek while Nathan just gave him a firm hand shake.

Addy was dancing with one of the boys on the lacrosse team and Angela came from now where and grabbed Nathan. He looked at me apologetically but I shrugged it off.

When I went to the kitchen to get a drink I saw Seth there talking with Julian.
I went up to him and took his hand pulling him towards me and the boys around us started whistling and what not. I rolled my eyes.

"Hey babe." Seth greeted me with a kiss to my forehead.

"Hi." I smiled.

"What's up?" He asked taking a sip of his drink.

"Nothing. Prince Charming was taken away by Anastasia." I said and her chuckled.

"I hate that part of the story." He laughed and downed the rest of his drink.

"What about you? Amy's not here. Who are you gonna shag this time?" Seth has always slept with a girl at a party. If its not me its some other random bitch.

"No shagging for me this time. I think it's better this way isn't it." He tells leading me to thew dance floor.

I nod in response.

I finish my drink and start dancing with him and that's when work by Rihanna and Drake starts playing so I do what I do best. I start bringing against him and I can fell his friend down below go hard.

Then I walk away leaving him to another girl before something happens between us. I'm really tired of meaningless sex. What's the point to it anyway.

I spot Angela kissing Nathan against a wall leading outside. I'm happy for him at least he has some on e to loosen him up.

"Come on Nate let's go upstairs." She says to him pulling him upstairs but he grabs her back and pushes her to the wall kissing her.

"Nate let's go up." She protests again in between kisses.

"No. I'm not up for that. " he told her and she groaned. I felt so bad for watching but they couldn't see and that place was almost deserted.

"You never want to have sex with me. Ugh! You're such a party pooper." She pushes him away. "What does Stephanie even see in you. We are done. Doing call me, don't text me, and don't run back to me." She stomped away and almost walked into me.

She hissed and passed me. Nathan saw me and smiled.

He came over to where I was sitting and rested his head on my shoulder. "What a lost cause." He said sarcastically.

"Don't be a little bitch." I said and he laughed.

"I never liked her you know." He sighed. "She was just there when I was vulnerable and asked me out so I said yes."

"My feelings for you never changed. What I said the other day is what I truly feel." He said looking at me and playing with my fingers.

"Yeah. I know but I think we should go slowly yeah?" I told him with a smile.

"Sure. Its probably for the best. But just tell me when okay. I'll be there." He smiled back.

The rest of the night I found Seth and told him what happened then I introduced him officially to Nathan. They're good now. Not besties because a popular jock and a nerd can never be best buds, not even in this story and we have pretty much broken every unwritten highschool hierarchy rule in the book.

I woke the day after in Nathan's bed then checked the time. It was nine. We had over slept. Well I'm not going to school today then.

I checked my phone and saw that Gwen had sent me a text which I opened and read.

Babe mom's been worried about you.

Colin told me you're at Nathan's house. I need you home before Dad loses it. I didn't tell him where you were yet.

Get home today and when you do tell me what's going on between you and glasses boy.

I smiled and pit my phone down.

I turned to face Nathan whose hand was wrapped around my waist. We didn't do anything yesterday night. We just got home talked a bit and fell asleep. I was wearing his sweater.

I start reading the outline of his face like those girls in cliché books. I do it to his eyes, his nose, to his lips and suddenly his teeth grab my finger. I gasp and his eyes open then he wiggles his eyebrows.

He sucks my finger which is in his mouth and pulls me against him.

"Don't be weird Nathan Grant. Let my finger go." I pull his nose.

He hold the finger in his hand and speaks." You'll have to kiss me. "

I roll my eyes and put my lips on his and brush them together. When he releases my finger, I roll out of bed. He groans and I blow him a kiss.

"I said slow Nathan."

"Fine." He responds. I head to the bathroom to have a bath and when I'm done I walk outside in my underwear. That's when I know that he has no shame. He was practically drooling over me. His friend down below didn't seem to sad about my lack of clothes either.

I shook my head and muttered loud enough for him to hear." Boys will be boys."

He chuckled and went for his bath. When he came out his hair was dripping wet his towel hung loose on his waist and his abs were glorious no Nathan was glorious.

"Girls will be girls" he said looking at me in the mirror.

I shook my head and left his room in another of his sweaters and my shorts. When I got down his sisters were watching Are you the one? on MTV so I joined them.

His mom came down and I greeted her. She told me she let us sleep in because she didn't us to be grumpy and hung over and I thanked her. She sat beside me and watched it too.
Nathaniel came down in all his glory wearing a simple t shirt and jeans with a converse. He took in the scene in front of him and shook his head.

"We need way more men here."

His mom laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"Hey I'm going home today. Grace says dad and mom are worried." I tell everyone. The girls make me promise to come back. His mom smiles at me and wishes me luck and he just stands there. When we're alone in the kitchen he holds me around my waist.

"I can't believe my bed's gonna be empty again now that you're going back." He says into my ear and I feel tingly.

"Well it better be. But I'll visit and stay over a lot too." I tell him.

"Of course. You're welcome every time." He says and kisses me lightly on the cheek.

"Okay now I'm going." I kiss him on the cheek back and run outside. I walk home since its not that far. Plus I need the exercise.

When I got home Gwen was watching TV mom was cooking and dad was on the lawn so I saw him first.

He kissed me so hard that my cheek hurt. He lifted me up and I just laughed.

Are you okay?" He asked checking for bruises.

"Of course I am. I was at a friend's house." I told him. I saw mom come out of the house.

"What happened? Why'd you leave? Your mom hasn't said anything." He asked me.

I looked over to her and smiled." Its okay. I was being bitchy to her. She didn't deserve it. But I'm sorry and we're okay now."

She nodded and smiled. I walked into the house and ate the pancakes mom was making. I told Gwen about everything and she told me more about her boyfriend. Later when she fell asleep I went to my room and sent Colin a text.
