Tuesday was horror. I walked right passed Nathan at least ten times and he didn't even move. He behaved the way he used to before we even started talking and I'll admit now that it kills me to see that I've lost him. He was one of the people who made me happy and believe that the crown i wear so comfortably on my head isn't important.

I miss him, I miss our friendship or whatever ship we were sailing. I miss his glasses, I miss his hoodies and his horrible khaki shorts. I want him back. I really do.

I'm in geography class now and I honestly don't care about reading fucking maps. I don't need a map when I have a GPS.

After school I went to practice and I really needed it because I haven't practiced in a while.

"Okay girls regionals are coming up and we have to be cheer perfect. After we win, I and Addison will start looking at for the next captain and assistant because finals will be here in no time." All the girls start giggling at the thought of being captain but they all know Valerie is the captain being my sister or not. She's the best.

"So five six seven eight...." I clap and start the music. They dance around and practice flips then we master our formation.

"Okay so again for the last time people. Quitters never win and winners never quit." I dab my face with a towel after cheering they start forming the pyramids and I have to climb to the top the do a triple flip.

I prayed silently not to fall and I didn't. I landed with grace and a big smile then the other dismounted doing a flip each.

"Practice is over girls. You did good today and as a treat we're going to the frozen yoghurt shop with the boys tomorrow after practice. You're all dismissed." They start giggling and primping to leave. I sit in my sweat pants and tank top drinking some water with Addy sitting by my side.

"Look what the cat pulled in." Addison nudges me gesturing to the door. There stood Nathan in all his nerdy glory. He wasn't with his glasses though but he looked sort of uncomfortable standing there shifting from foot to foot.

When his eyes meet mine I sighed and he looks slightly relieved but he tenses up again.

"Go talk to him." Addy says again.

I walk over to him and he looks to the ground.

"Hey." I greet him with a smile.

"Hi." He says back but flatly.

"Where are your glasses?" Can you even see without them?" I ask him trying to start a conversation.

"Uh... I'm wearing contacts. Angela doesn't like the glasses." Nathan says looking at me for the first time.

"Angela?" I ask. Oh no she didn't.

Addy comes to stand by me probably reading my composure.

"Yeah we're going out. She said to come pick her up today to go out again." Nathan said.

"You can't do that." I mutter before I can stop myself.

"Do what?" Angela's says coming from behind us looking all perky and giggly. Its obvious she doesn't care for Nathan. She just wants attention. She's an attention seeking whore.

But you're no different my subconscious tells.

"Nothing Angela." Addy says crossing her hand in front of her chest.

"Hey Nate." She kisses him on his cheek.

"Its Nathan." I say again. Apparently my mouth is working faster than my brain.

"I know but he prefers Nate." Angela says to me batting her fake eyelashes.

"Is that so?" I ask Nathan with a smirk. He doesn't like nick names. I know that for a fact.

"Look it's none of your business anyway." He said matter of factly.

"Fine. I'm sorry." I smile. I can't let Angela see that it got to me. "Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do." I bounce away. I noticed Nathan was thrown off guard too by my sudden positive attitude.

"Hey. Are you okay?" Addison asks me as she sits down beside me. I nod.

"Yeah. I guess. I mean I have Seth now right? He should date who he wants to date. I shouldn't stop right?" I look at her. She's always been the smarter one.

"Are you really backing down. He may not be a bad boy but you like him tight! I've never read a story where the head cheerleader gives up on a guy she wants. Bad boy or not." Addy nudges me. "It's only Angela. I can tell he doesn't like her but the way he looks at you is just so surreal. It's cliché but still it's cute."

I thought for a moment and realised that what she was saying was true. The blondes never gave up so why the hell should I. Just because he happens to be dating Angela now doesn't mean his feelings for me have disappeared. I obviously feel something for him whatever that is. But then there's Seth.

I groan aloud.

"I'll think about it. I'm leaving. Wanna come with?" I ask her.

"Sure."

I drop her off at her house and when I get home dad isn't home but mom is and I see that familiar motorcycle at the backyard. That dude is here again.

Gwen was downstairs watching TV and Valerie was no where to be seen even when I dismissed the girls before I left.

"Hey what's mom's boy toy doing here?" I ask Gwen as I settle on the couch.

"Dad's out for a conference. Hell come back the day after tomorrow." Gwen yawns as as she speaks.

"Mom's so stupid. What if dad caught her?" I sigh. "Any way he's probably in bed with some model right now."

"I hate this. They really have to stop. Where's Valerie?" Gwen asks me.

"I don't know. She was supposed to catch a ride with a friend. She's supposed to be home now."

As if on cue Valerie walks in laughing with a boy in her grade who I believe is Jason. I've seen them talking before but I didn't think they'll get this far.

"Val. Don't forget to call me okay." He says. Before leaving he stops to wave at me and Gwen before kissing Valerie on the cheek and leaving.

"Uh......What the hell was that?" Gwen asks.

"Nothing." Valerie murmurs with a grin.

"Okay tell me all about that." I squeal and grab a throw pillow.

"Well you'll have to come up to my room. I'm very tired. You have to stop taking your anger out in all of us during practice." She groaned rubbing her shoulder.

"Aww you know its only because I want what's best for the team." I laugh.

I follow her up to her room and we leave Gwen downstairs. When we get there I notice she's done some redecorating. Some posters are up, she took down the stars on the ceiling and her name was now written on the wall.

"Nice." I complimented it.

"Thanks." She drops down on her bed and smiles. "So where do I begin?"

"At the beginning." I tell her pulling a teddy bear close to me.

"Okay. So his name's Jason. We met at the beginning of the term. He was dating Freya but they broke up and he was pissed and all so we went to Darla's birthday party a day later and that was when we met. We were both underage teens playing beer pong." She grins widely at the memory.

"Later I was alone in the kitchen and he walked in wanting to smoke and he offered me and I took it. He asked my name and I told him and he told me his. Jason Crawford. Later again I saw him and Freya arguing and asked him about it so he told me and that's how we became friends."

Yesterday during lunch,I wasn't at the table because he wanted to sit with me and his friends so I told Darla to sit with us too. We talked and I love all his friends. He never talks to me in front of you because you frighten him. Anyways long story short he kissed me today. It was a short quick kiss but it was a kissed that made my knees weak." She finished and I squealed.

Yes I Stephanie Vaughn squeals when I hear romantic stories.

"Oh my baby. I'm soooooooooooo happy for you." I grab her and kiss her on the cheek. "But don't let him distract you though. He seems like a nice boy." I smile.

We talk for a long a long time and later about mid night, I decide to go to my room. In the hallway, I run into the flirt.

"Hey." He tells me.

"Hi Colin."

I keep walking down to the end of the hall where my room is and I hear the footsteps behind me.

I turn around and cock my eyebrow." What the fuck do you want?"

"Shhh." He puts his hands to his lips. "Your mom's sleeping."

"So I look like I care. Now tell me what do you want?" I ask again.

"I want to kiss you." He responds.

I swear I almost fainted when he said that. I felt really light headed.

"You can't fuck my mom and me at the same time Colin that's rude." I tell him. I'm not going to act all scared. I know he wouldn't do anything to hurt me on purpose.

"I never said anything about fucking you. Just a kiss. We both want that. Don't we?" He smirks and takes a step closer to me.

"Not really. You want that. Frankly I don't care what you want now Colin leave me alone."

"Do you really want that Stephanie?" No we were so close that I could feel his breath on my face. Yes another cliché term but its true. "Just say the word Stephanie and I would go." He says again and put his hands on my hips.

He leans in and I find myself not able to speak so as the whore I am I lean in too. His lips brush mine and I connect our lips fast. He kisses me and I kiss him back. His hands move around my hips and I find myself unbuttoning his shirt. I kiss him on his torso and he moans then i move my hands to his jeans. He takes me into my room and places me on the bed.

"Colin." I whisper as he kisses my neck down to my chest. "Fuck. Colin."

His jeans are off and suddenly I'm on top. He kisses me and takes off my shirt and that's when I stop.

"Leave. I'm sorry but leave. It's all a mistake." I start crying and he stops. He sits on my bed instead and holds me until I stop crying. He kisses me again and leaves and I sit there thinking about what I've just done. We only kissed so that's not so bad. I think

I put all that behind me and lie on my bed. I receive a text from Seth.

Hey Steph.

Sorry I'm texting this late but I can't do this. We can't do this.

Its obvious you still like the nerd and I'll tell you the truth now. I like Amy. As unbelievable as it seems, I'm in love with her which doesn't change what I feel about you but I can't live my life unhappy.

You have to be with your prince charming and I with my plus sized Cinderella. Let's break this fucking stereotype thing.

I still have feelings for you like you do for me but let's be happy okay.

PS. This is the longest text I've ever written and the mist meaningful too ;-)

Well this is a shocker. Not really but he loves Amy? Wow. He got me there. But I prefer honesty. For once, he's being completely honest with me.

I close my and sleep happy that I have one less problem.
