4 YEARS LATER-

Shivaay was now 10 years old and Anika was 8 years old. They were very fond of spending time with each other. They used to sit in the lawn and play with each other.

They were like best friends. But Daksh has grown up as a spoilt brat. He wasn't able to tolerate their friendship after all how can he look at Shivaay being happy. So he thought of a plan.

Here Shivaay and Anika were sitting in the garden and Shivaay was making Anika's hair.

A- Shiv, please make a beautiful hairstyle.

S- Of course, I'll definitely make a beautiful hairstyle for my princess just like her.

Anika giggled at his compliment.

A- And you're my Prince Charming.

Suddenly Anika pouted angrily. Shivaay noticed it.

S- What happened to my Princess?

A- You know when that girl Sheena, Queen's friend's daughter came to the mansion, and she was trying to stick to you like a chewing gum. I didn't like it. I hate her.

S- Aww, my princess. I also hate her. I mean is she a girl or a chewing gum? But you don't have to worry because I like only one girl.

Anika turned towards him and glared at him.

A- And Who's that witch?

S- No, she's not a witch but a princess, my Ani.

Anika's smile widened and she kissed his cheek.

A- Yaaaaayy.

Anika then turned her back towards him and asked him to continue making her hairstyle while Shivaay chuckled.

He made her hairstyle and put some flowers in between her braid.

S- Done.

Anika turned towards him.

A- How am I looking?

S- Very beautiful just like my princess.

Anika gave him her toothy smile. Suddenly they heard a made calling Shivaay and Anika got scared.

A- I'm going.

Shivaay nodded his head and Anika went to the servant quarters.

Shivaay stood up and saw the maid. The maid looked at him and bowed her head.

M- Kunwar sa, Rajasa and Ranisa wants to meet you in their office.

Shivaay nodded his head.

Here in the office, Tej and Pinky were sitting fuming in anger while Daksh was smirking.

D- Yes dad. I've saw them together many times. They daily meet at the garden and that girl is such a dirt and she's making Shivaay like her only.

P- I never knew that Shivaay is talking to that lower class girl.

D- Yes mom and when I saw them today in the garden, he was making her hairstyle.

Tej and Pinky looked at Daksh Shocked.

T- What?

D- Yes dad.

T- We have to do something urgently otherwise that girl will spoil my son's future. After all he's future king.

Daksh rolled his eyes at his last line.

At the same time, Shivaay entered the office.

S- Yes mom and dad, you called me.

P- Yes, Shivaay. We got to know something about you.

Shivaay narrowed his eyes.

S- What?

T-We got to know that you're talking to that lower class maid's daughter. How can you do this, Shivaay? This is what we taught you?

S- Dad, she's my best friend not a lower class. She understands me better than anyone of you. I'll keep talking to her and you can't do anything.

P- See, this is what she's teaching you to talk to your parents badly. Why can't you get it, you're future king? You just can't talk to lower class people. They are bad.

S- No. She's not bad. She's my best friend.

T- I've decided that we're sending you to London for your further studies. You'll live with my friend, Ram and his family.

S- No. I won't leave Anika. I won't go to London.

Pinky looks at him and smirks.

P- Of course, you'll go. You have to choose Shivaay, whether you want to go London or otherwise I'll throw that Maid and her daughter out of this mansion. Choice is yours.

Shivaay's eyes widened in fear.How can he see his Kamla Maa and his princess, struggling for food and shelter? His eyes got filled with tears.

S(weakly) - I'll go.

Tej, Pinky and Daksh smirked and Shivaay left from there.

He went to his room and cried whole night. He even skipped his dinner and no one came to even ask him to eat. He slept while crying.

It was early morning and his blue oceanic eyes were swollen and red due to crying. As soon as he woke up, he saw his Kamla Maa packing his stuff. He immediately ran towards her and hugged her.

S- Kamla Maa.

He started sobbing. Kamla Maa broke the hug and made him sit on the bed and she herself sat near his feet.

K- What happened, Kunwar sa? Why are you crying?

S- I don't want to go, Kamla Maa. I don't want to leave you and Princess.

Kamla Maa wiped her tears and then cupped his face.

K- It's for your own good, Kunwar sa. Rajasa and Ranisa are sending you for your betterment. They want you to become a big man.

S- But I will have to leave you and Princess.

K- So what? When you will return back, we'll be there to welcome you.

S- Promise?

Kamla Maa smiled and promised him.

K- Promise. Now go and freshen up and have breakfast.

Shivaay nodded his head and was about to leave when he stopped. He went towards his cupboard and searched something frantically.

K- What are you searching, Kunwar sa?

S- Wait, Kamla ma.

Finally he found a photo frame with his and Anika's picture in it.

Flashback starts-

Shivaay was 7 years old and Anika was 5 years old. They were sitting in the garden, playing with each other when Anika's eyes fell on the moon.

A- Shiv, see the moon is looking so milky.

S- Hmm..

A- I want to eat it.

Shivaay's eyes widened in horror.

S- What?

A- Yes. I want to eat moon.

S- No, Princess. We can't eat moon.

Anika sadly pouted and tears glistened her eyes.

A- But I want it.

Shivaay, who wasn't able to see tear in her eyes, stood up.

S- Let's go. I'll get the moon for you.

Anika excitedly jumped.

A- Really.

Shivaay nodded his head. Shivaay then went and dragged a ladder which kept for plucking fruits and vegetables from the tree.

He climbed on the ladder from one side and Anika climbed from the other side. He raised his hand towards the moon.

S- Princess, look there.

At the same time, the photographer, who was their to click a family photo, captured their photo.

Shivaay immediately took a moon shaped chocolate from his pocket and forwarded it to Anika.

Anika happily but then she noticed something on the chocolate.

A- Shiv, but this is brown and the moon is white.

Shivaay mentally facepalmed himself at his Question Queen.

S- Princess, moon's colour is different in the sky and when it comes to earth, it changes it's colour to brown.

Anika nodded her head in understanding.

A- Ohhhhh! Okay.

She popped the chocolate in her mouth.

Flashback ends.

S- Kamla, you will be there na, when I'll come back.

Kamla nodded her head with a smile and Shivaay left to freshen up.

K(thinks) - I myself don't know if I'll be there to welcome you or not.

Kamla wiped her tears and started packing again.

Here Shivaay finished his breakfast.

S- Dad, I want to buy some new clothes for London.

T- Sure, I'll ask the driver to take you to the mall. But don't take much time, because we have a flight in the evening.

Shivaay nodded his head and left to the mall.

He immediately ran inside the mall and went to jewellery shop with driver.

S- Ramu kaka, I'll buy a pendant and give you money, can you buy it for me? Because they'll not give it to me as I'm still a kid.

Ramu kaka nodded his head with a smile.

R- Okay, kunwar sa.

Shivaay went inside the shop with driver and chose the pendant. He gave the money to ramu kaka which he brought by breaking his piggy bank. Finally he bought the pendant.

They headed home. He immediately ran towards the garden area where Anika was waiting for him.

He went and sat beside her but Anika turned her face opposite to him.

S- What happened to My princess? Is she angry with me?

Anika nodded her head and Shivaay chuckled. He made her face turned towards him and was shocked to see her crying. He panicked.

S- Princess, what happened? Why are you crying? Did anyone said something to you?

Anika shook her head in negative.

A- Maa told me that you're going away from here. You're leaving me.

S- No princess. I can never leave you. Yes I'm going to London but I'll be back soon.

A- Sachi?

S- Muchi.

A- But what if you got any other best friend and you forgot me?

Anika asked him with a pout.

S- This will never happen and I've a solution for that.

Anika's eyes glittered.

Shivaay took out a pendant from his pocket and showed it to her.

S- See, I'll wear this A part always and you'll wear this S part always and then we won't forget each other. Whenever you miss me, just touch this pendant and take my name, I'll get to know it and vice versa.

A- Woow! Make me wear this.

Shivaay made her wear the S part and he himself wore the A part.

S- I can never forget you, Princess. Every Prince has only one Princess and you're my princess.

Anika smiled widely and they hugged each other.

A- I'll go now.

Shivaay nodded his head and Anika left from there.

Finally that evening, Shivaay left to London along with Tej, God knows for how many years.

Will their friendship be like before or the time will drift them apart?
