Chapter 17
Erza POV
I sat ontop of my Jellal's chest in victory. He just sat there like a good boy. I felt the anger and rage melt away, replaced by guilt and worry.
"Ah! Jellal! I'm sooooo sorry!" I cried, hugging his arm. He laughed a little.
"It's ok, Scarlet" He said, grinning. He sat up slowly. Pulling me onto his lap. I blushed a little, hugging him.
Across the island, I heard a loud roar. "LUCEEEEE!" Oh no. I leapt up, dragging Jellal with me, racing down to where Lucy and Natsu were supposed to be. I caught glimpse of Gray, Juvia, Mira, Laxus, Gajeel and Levy. We all saw Lucy be sucked down into the abyss. Natsu was in shock. He was frozen. A tear slipped down his face. "Luce." He whimpered. Then, an earth shattering roar was heard across the horizon. I spotted a huge flying beast. It's gargantuan wings beating effortlessly. Natsu let off a feral growl. The beast headed in closer, the bright sun, turning its scales black, it's silhouette on top of us. Natsu Lighting on fire.
"Dad."
Lucy POV
I sat in my luxurious cage. The soft bed of seaweed underneath me offering little comfort. I tapped my claws on the bars. I swished my tail in annoyance. Jeez. I summoned Plue to keep me company. He was busy waddling around underwater. I knew there was no point in trying to escape. The bars were, well, me-proof. The merfolk infront of me pulling restlessly. All the Sea-dragons were in heat, so out of operation. My dad sat on his throne, ontop of my holding vessel.
"You know dear daughter, it's been quite hard, ruling without you." I sweat dropped. "The Sea-Dragons are questioning why I'm their king without you around." He huffed.
I rolled my eyes. I was already pissed that he was forcing me into marriage. I sighed. I wished I could be in my true form. A golden Dragon. I was only in that form once. When I was defending the kingdom from the eastern sirens. Needless to say, I eradicated their race. The Northern, Southern and Western Sirens came the next day, wanting to form an alliance. Tsk.
We had been traveling for about 4 days. I was enjoying it because I had some time to enjoy the gourmet meals. I ate all. Not as great as Mira's, but pretty good. Cancer was just finishing up with my hair when we arrived. I stat, bored. My father clutched the blood stone necklace I'd given him for his 49th birthday when I was 14. He signaled the men to slip in and wrap the Me-proof chains around my tail and arms. They pulled me out and swam me to the surface. They gently lifted me and placed me on a floating gazeboed platform. I felt my eyes turn grey and orange as we finally arrived. I sat, still in my Sea-dragon form on a bed of silk and my father on a throne, his clothing adorned with gold and purple lace and trimming, embroidered with blue and green waves, accompanyed by a golden crown, covered in jewels. The gazebo was pulled along by humans up to the castle. My father's eyes looked nervous, though his body pictured the image of confidence. It was his first time using the blood stone.
As we entered the huge palace, we were greeted by a throne room, adorned with pictures of the elements. A silver haired man sat on the throne, his blue eyes glimmering when they spotted us. His eyes flicked to me, who was glaring at everyone, eyes red and grey. He rolled his eyes. Cold. He stood up and bowed, my father doing the same.
"So I presume you are not the king?" My father asked. The Silver haired man let of a quite chuckle.
"No. I'm his younger brother, and advisor. The king will be returning shortly with the crown prince." He announced, his voice icy. A lady next to him slapped his arm, her head adorned with light blue gems and a light blue silk dress that showed of her stomach and whole back, her hair black.
"Brother, be polite, that princess has the power to wipe out the whole kingdom." I over heard.
"Yeah, yeah." He responded, rolling his eyes. Loud thumping was heard. A roar echoing from out the huge skylight. "Ah, my brother's back."
