"Don't worry about it!" I shout at my father at his response to Jungkooks and Kam's disappearance.

"They'll turn up," he says peering from his glasses.

"What has happened to you?!"

"What do you mean Alexandra?"

"Ever since we have been crowned you have been nothing but a dick!"

I run out of the study and slammed the door and met where everyone was outside.

"Well, what did he say?" Kate says looking like a nervous wreck.

"He doesn't give a shit, " I say crossing my arms.

"Speaking of another devil where is Kai?"

"He is talking with Namjoon," V says with a look of anger.

I look past V and sure enough, they were both talking and laughing about something.

I push past V and Yoongi and stomp right to the pair.

"It's going as planned."

"This is your fucking doing Kai!" I say cutting him off and grabbing his collar.

While Namjoon sneaks away.

"Sweetie calm down!" Kai says as he puts his free hands on my shoulders.

I push him into the wall behind him.

"I know this is your doing Kai! Everything has gone downhill since you came!" I finally let go of all my stress.

"It wasn't just me sweetie," he raises his hand and wipes a tear from my cheek when someone caught his hand.

"Don't fucking touch her, " V says looking him dead in the eyes.

"Who the fuck are you to tell me what to do?" Kai spats in V's face.

I was suddenly pushed out of the way from V.

I see V's large fist make contact with Kai's tan face.

"I'm the one between the two who cares the most," V says standing over him and shaking out his sore hand.

All of these emotions running through my head I just had to run away.

I ran away from the whole situation to the only place where I could be by myself.

Not my room.

But one of theirs.

I skipped the previous rooms I had been in and go to the nearest one.

I open the door and quickly went inside and closed it.

I was then engulfed with darkness.

Until a sudden light fixture from a corner turns on.

Under the light were a single sink and a mirror.

From the light spreading across the room, there was a single mattress for someone to sleep on.

Out of instinct, I go to the sink.

I stand in front of the sink looking down at what it shows me.

It was filled with the smallest amount of water and weird capsules that resembled medicine.

I look up to the mirror and see words written on the corner.

" Would you sacrifice yourself for the people you love? Or will you not say a word? I regret my choice. ~S what you are looking for is inside of the floor your on."

I move forward to make sure I was reading it right when the floor moved.

I kneeled down to the loose floor and pull the piece of wood away revealing the worlds tiniest box.

I pulled the box out of the floorboard.

Opening the box revealed a single piece of paper.

"Their time has come. J+K take action."

As I read the piece of paper I still couldn't understand what she means.

I put the paper back in the box and closed the lid.

Then suddenly everything went black.

Screams.

That was the first thing I heard when I finally opened my eyes. Slowly sitting up from where I laid, I looked around and saw that I was still in the room with the box that now laid closed on the ground beside me.

Suddenly, the door swung open and ai nearly jumped out of my already nervous skin. A guard came into the room and roughly pulled me towards the exit. I noticed that the screams were getting louder and louder as I got further into the halls of the palace.

"W-Where are you taking me-"

"There has been a scandal in the palace, your highness. A grand law has been broken, and you must watch their confession and punishment."

"Grand laws? Broken?"

Questions filled my already troubled head as the shouts from outside the palace got louder as we approached the large doors leading outside. The guard continued to drag me and busted through the main doors, a large crowd gathered amongst the front of the place I called home.

Oddly enough, the group seemed to be in a semi-circle, and they all seemed to stay at me with eyes full of pity.

"What is happening?"

As I was dragged through the crowds, I heard the loud crack of a whip, and a bloodcurdling cry echoed throughout the thick air.

My stomach dropped and I quickly fought my way out of the guard's grasp and made it to the front of the crowds. I saw the five princes lined up, their heads bowed. Some looked like they were trying not to cry, and Jimin was already a mess on Hoseok's shoulder. Kate was beside them, sobbing.

"Wait... There's only five princes... Where's Kam?"

A sudden realization hit me and I slowly looked forward and came face to my worst nightmare.

There, laying and screaming in agony was my friend Kam, and the young prince Jeon Jungkook.

"S-Stop!" My voice was weaker than I had hoped and the punisher looked at me, slashing the whip down on the prince's already bloodied and exposed back, causing him to let out a pained groan.

I looked up to see my father looking at the scene, a look of happiness laying across his features.

"What are you doing?!" I cried out, listening to my close friend weakly cry, "Go Alex, it'll be okay." As the whip came down and caused her to let out a terrified cry. Blood seeped from her back and shoulders, staining the pavement with a deep crimson.

"Why is she bleeding so much?!"

The king I called father shrugged, "These two have broken the royal code, and have had an affair during their stay at this palace. Jungkook for breaking the code of the selection, and Kam, for being his whore."

My world stopped when all I could think of were the notes I had found.

J+K.

The notes were talking about Jungkook and Kam, and I failed to realize that my friends were in danger.

That's why the two acted so strange. It all made sense now: the odd glances, the sudden disappearances, the weird messages. They were having an affair under our very noses.

And I failed to realize.

My eyes widened as Jungkook tried to make his way to his bleeding love. He begged, his voice pained and gurgled with the blood seeping from his busted mouth,"Please stop, your majesty. S-She's bleeding too much. P-Punish me more, she's innocent. S-She didn't know."

"Silence!" My father bellowed, standing from his chair. "I do not care if your slut bleeds out, you will know the consequences of going against our kingdom. Proceed, punisher!"

"No, no no no no no!"

Everything seemed to move in slow motion as the whips were raised and came crashing down onto Kam's back, her cries silenced and her body stilling.

"Kam!" I heard Jungkook cry, managing to cradle her now unconscious and limp body in his arms before being ripped apart from her and beaten by the punisher and guards on stand by.

"STOP!" I screamed, fighting my way towards the punisher. Gasps were heard among the crowds of people, the princes looking up in surprise and terror.

Suddenly, a large tug on my stomach knocked the wind out of me, tugging me away from the sobs of my beloved friends.

"Alexandra stop!" I turned to see my captor and saw none other than Kim Taehyung.

I didn't care. I fought his tight grip. "KAM! JUNGKOOK! TAKE ME INSTEAD! NOT THEM! PLEASE HAVE MERCY!" I sobbed out, realizing that I was being dragged into the castle.

The last thing I saw was the whip raising to hit my bloodied companion and Jungkook trying to fight the guards before the royal doors closed.

"NO!" I let out a scream and thrashed in Kim Taehyung's grasp, trying to make it back to the doors. "Why are you doing this to me?! I have to help them!" I sobbed.

Tae's grip was excruciatingly painful. "Because there is nothing we can do for them! They are sentenced to the dungeon until their other sentences are carried out. We can't save them, it's too late."

My heart stopped.

It's too late.

This was all too much for me as my body seemed to be weighted down by boulders, my head spinning on its topz

The last thing I heard was the cries outside, and Taehyung yelling for me to stay awake, and my vision was gone.
