Vrishali chuckled as she watched her husband help her elder son. Vidha silently watched them with a smile on her face. Vedant and Atulya bickered in the back regarding the suit. "Will you two stop bickering?" Vidha asked.

Atulya and Vedant looked at her. "You don't get involved in this. You were the one who suggested us the same suit."

"Oh. . . Oh. . . You two can wear black suits. It's okay to match," Vrishali said. Vedant groaned. "There's only one black suit and a dark blue suit. I don't want to wear dark blue."

Padmanabh looked at Atulya. "You wore a dark green customised salwar kameez last time, and Vedant didn't complain. Maybe you should adjust and let him wear the black suit this time."

Atulya opened and closed his mouth. "I'm not going to argue on it." Atulya sighed and looked at Vedant. "Fine, next time, get your suits."

"That isn't your suit." Both of them then looked at Vidha. "I'm not going to ask you to select my wardrobe from now on," Atulya said, going towards the door. "Fine, whatever."

Vrishali shook her head. "You two got twenty minutes to get ready. Don't be late before our new relatives."

"Sure. . ." Diya Kumari and Narendra entered the room while Vedant and Atulya were leaving. "Is our man ready?" Narendra asked. Hridyanshu got off the chair and walked over to his grandparents. He took his blessings, and Diya Kumari pulled him into a hug.

"I cannot believe you are finally getting hitched to Nalani." Everyone chuckled, and Hridyanshu groaned. "I can't believe you have learnt those words. I don't blame you for using the slang." Hridyanshu looked at Vidha.

"Hey, I didn't teach Dadi the slang."

"We all know the truth."

"Shut up." Diya Kumari playfully slapped Hridyanshu's arm. "I'm not too old, and I know the informal slang, old boy. Don't scold my baby."

"Yeah. . . Yeah. . ." Vidha is her grandma's favourite. Everyone knew that Diya Kumari would never say no to Vidha. Padmanabh and Narendra conversed as Diya Kumari and Vrishali went over to welcome their guests and relatives who had travelled from Rajasthan.

Hridyanshu and Nalani wanted an intimate engagement ceremony. So, they have invited only the closest relatives. Naina and Arjun were speaking with Atulya.

"Naina didi. . . I missed you," Vrishali said, hugging Naina. Naina chuckled, "I missed you too, darling. Where is he?"

"He is in the room with his Papa and Dada." Naina smiled. "I will be back after meeting him." Vrishali gave a nod.

Nalani breathed out as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. Dev looked away, wiping his tears. "You look so beautiful, Ammaadi. . ." Dyuthi said, kissing Nalani's cheek. Nalani smiled and looked at her dad.

"Achaan, how do I look?" Dev patted the other cheek. "You are always pretty and beautiful in my eyes, no matter how you are." Nalani hugged her dad. "Please, don't cry. I don't want to see you crying."

"I won't." There was a knock. The three looked at the door. Vidha opened the door and stepped in. "Wow." Nalani laughed. "Seriously, you look wow."

"We will leave you two." Dyuthi and Dev left the room to greet the guests. Vidha hugged Nalani. "My brother will lose his brain if he saw you in this colour."

Nalani chuckled. "He was the one who selected this colour." Vidha's eyes widened in horror. "He is already deciding your wardrobe?"

"Not really; I asked if he had any colour in mind. Thankfully, I was thinking the same colour."

"You know, you remind me of Dyuthi Aunty from her wedding days. I remember the wedding photos that we have seen. And this saree looks the same." Nalani chuckled. "It's the same saree."

Vidha looked at the saree. "Oh my god. You are wearing Aunty's reception saree?" Nalani looked at her saree and gave a smile. "Yes, I always wanted to have this saree. She didn't give me before. When searching for my engagement saree, I couldn't find the one I wanted, and she passed it down to me."

"That's so cute. You are looking gorgeous in this saree."

"Thank you, babe. You are looking too cute." Vidha beamed. "Thanks, babe." Nalani looked at the door. "Is your brother ready?"

"He is hurrying everyone. I don't think he would wait any longer." Nalani chuckled. "He will fix the wedding in the next two months. He was saying Mumma and Papa about it."

Nalani looked into the mirror as she thought about Hridyanshu. "Anyway, I'm happy for you two. I never thought this would happen, but I'm glad you are the one." Nalani hugged Vidha.

"I cannot wait to be a part of your family." Vidha looked at Nalani. "You were always a part of our family. I'm the one who married you invisibly." The two women shared a look before laughing. "Yeah. . . Yeah. . ."

The music played softly in the background as Hridyanshu sat on the stage, waiting for Nalani to enter the grand hall. His gaze drifted to his parents, who were seated beside Nalani's parents.

Happy smiles were beaming on their faces. The ceremony will start in another ten minutes. The guests had come, and kids were roaming around. Vedant and Atulya were with their cousins. Vidha and Aadya were with Nalani.

The priest started the puja. Vrishali and Padmanabh made their way towards the stage while Dev and Dyuthi went to bring Nalani as she would be performing the Ganesh puja first. Hridyanshu held his breath while watching Nalani walk down the carpet towards the stage.

She was wearing the mustard yellow saree that he had selected. He knew she would be wearing her Mum's saree. The saree is a simple silk saree with an old-style zari border. The old South Indian women mostly preferred to wear peacock or mango-patterned borders.

She looked breathtaking. When their eyes met, Hridyanshu smiled warmly, and Nalani chuckled as she checked him out. He was wearing the pearl white salwar kameez with a customised coat. He looked handsome and hot.

Upon reaching the stage, Nalani was asked to sit on the silver plank. Once seated, the puja began. Hridyanshu had to move a side― Off the stage. There was some different kind of positive energy.

He watched Nalani as she performed the ceremony steps. There was a smile on his face. "Stop staring at her, it's creepy."

Hridyanshu looked at Vidha. "I can stare at my wife however I want."

"She isn't your wife." Vedant chuckled. "Yet. She is going to be his wife soon." Vidha looked at Vedant and Hridyanshu. "I was pulling his leg. There's no need to interfere."

"Calm down. There's no need to snap at him," Hridyanshu said, wrapping his arm around Vidha. "I wasn't snapping." Vedant laughed.

Atulya joined the siblings. "Hey, does anyone know that girl?" The siblings looked at Atulya.

"Which girl?" Vidha asked. Atulya pointed towards a girl standing near the pillar. "The girl in pink saree."

Vedant narrowed his eyes, and Vidha watched the girl. "Isn't she Aadya's cousin and Nalani's student?" Hridyanshu asked.

"Yeah," Vidha said. Vedant patted Atulya's shoulder. "Why? What did you tell her?"

"I didn't do anything. She snapped at me, and I didn't like it." Vedant shared a look with his other siblings and laughed.

"Please don't fight with Nalani's students. I don't want to upset her with you making a scene." Atulta narrowed his eyes at Hridyanshu. "I wasn't the one who snapped."

Before Hridyanshu could utter a word, Padmanabh called him. "Best of luck, brother."

Hridyanshu smirked and winked at his siblings before looking at the woman who took his breath away.

Nalani was smiling ear to ear as she watched Hridyanshu. Vrishali and Padmanabh were behind him. The ring exchange ceremony would start now.

"I love you. . ." Nalani whispered. Hridyanshu smiled as they watched the rain together.

His siblings and Nalani's cousins sat in the courtyard watching the rain. Nalani looked at her ring finger and back at Hridyanshu, who was not looking at her.

"You look so beautiful in this saree. I think this would be my favourite saree for a while." Nalani chuckled.

Nalani hummed and leaned closer as Hridyanshu brushed her hair off her face. "Tomorrow when everyone is asleep in the morning. I want to take you somewhere."

Hridyanshu's brows frowned in confusion. "Somewhere? Where?" Nakano leaned her chin on Hridyanshu's shoulder as she looked at him. "Somewhere that I want to take you. Wait for my morning call, and don't tell anyone."

Hridyanshu leaned a bit, kissed her forehead, and nodded his head. "Okay."
