It's 8.30 and I'm already at the palace. Mitchell's here too. We're trying to get everything ready on time. The breakfast starts at 11.00. But he have so much to do. The caterer's are setting up tables. I'm checking if all the cuttlery and everything else needed is present or not.

After about twenty minutes the tables have been set up.

Mitchell gives the instructions to the five housemaids who volunteered to work this Sunday. And I'm one of them because after all I'm still a housemaid.

"Now you have to set the tables according to what Cassandra planned. She'll guide you and help you."  With this we're dismissed.

We get to work. I instruct the others to first spread the blue and white silk table clothes on all tables. After that we set out cutlery and the other decorations.

In the mean while, Mitchell had been giving orders to the waiters and chefs. With this all the work is done.

"Everyone go get cleaned up and put on your uniforms." She says flipping through a folder. But she reaches out and stops me. "Your uniform's in my office." She tell me and then goes back to working.

I go up to her office and find a coat draped over the back of a chair. It has a badge with my name pinned to it. I'm wearing a navy blue dress. I run a brush through my hair, reapply lipgloss and put on the coat.

When I get back everyone's already there and Mitchell's in a similar attire as mine. Mrs. Blake is the first one to come out. She checks the preparations and if everything's in order. Soon Mr.Blake, the king shows up. Everyone goes about their work but I can't help glancing at Mrs.Blake once in a while.

Her warning keeps playing over and over again in my head.

The guests begin to arrive and soon the breakfast is in full swing. Mason is the first of the brothers to show up. He sneaks up behind me and says. "Hey Cassy!"

I jump at this. "Ah! Why did you do that?"

He just smiles at me and goes off to join everyone else. After a few moments I realize that he called me Cassy! What?!

When William comes out I look away so that we don't have to make any conversation. The breakfast goes smoothly and everything goes according to plan. In the end the chef's are called out on the king's request and everyone claps for them.

Everyone leaves around 2.00 and I go back home to get changed for the party. I choose a red silk top and black tights. I put on my coat, grab the present I got her and leave the house.

Anna lives a few blocks away from my house. So, I decide to walk.

When I get there I ring the bell. The door is opened by SOPHIE!

"Sophie, right?" I ask.

"Cassandra? I thought I'd never see you again!" She ushers me in.

"You're Anna's sister?" I ask.

"Yep! Then you must be her 'friend from work.'" She says.

Anna runs up to me when she sees me. "I'm so glad you made it!"

Sophie invited more friends of hers. I hang out with Anna in the kitchen and her mom also keeps checking on us once in a while. I have a really good time. I take Sophie's number for the future.

It has been a pretty tiring day for me.

This chapter is not all that good.

I'm trying my level best to update more often.
