Chapter 6
Next Day/April 20th 1992
Donna's pov
I went to the OB/GYN to see Dr. Berns for my ultrasound. Daisy and I are waiting to see Dr. Berns.
The other new moms are staring at me. "Is that Donna Lovelace?" one asked.
"Yes, and she's knocked up," another one said. "I guess another porn actor knocked her up and bounced," a third one said.
The girls continue to laugh. I rolled my eyes, shaking my head.
"Cunts," I whispered. "Ignore them," Daisy told me.
I nodded, holding my belly. "Donna Roussell?" a nurse asked. I look over, standing up a little.
Daisy helped me up as I couldn't get up. I sighed in relief.
"That's me," I said. "Okay, follow me," the nurse said. We nodded, following the nurse.
"Okay, stand on the scale," she said. I stood on the scale, seeing how much I weigh now since my belly got bigger and fake boobs look more real now.
The nurse moves the scale arrow to the weight levels. I used to weigh at least 110 lbs., but I feel like I'm 200lbs.
"140 lbs. Your baby's growing faster since your last visit," the nurse said. "I've been eating too much," I lied.
"Well, that's good," she said. The nurse led me to the Ultrasound room. I sat down, and the nurse asked me questions about my health.
"Okay, Dr. Berns will be with you in a minute," the nurse said. I nodded as the nurse left.
Daisy was sitting in the chair. I sighed, looking at the clock.
"You okay?" Daisy asked. "Just nervous. I hope my baby girl comes into the world safe," I said.
Daisy nodded. "We just want her to be a healthy baby. Also we don't want her to keep hurting your body," she whispered.
"I know. I have a broken rib now. My spine is killing me as well but at least I'm drinking blood to keep her somewhat human in the womb," I said.
Daisy nodded. I heard a knock on the door. Dr. Berns walks into the room.
"Hi, Donna, Hi, Daisy," Dr. Berns said.
"Hi, Dr. Berns," I said, smiling.
"So how are you and the baby?" Dr. Berns asked. "We're good. I know I got a little bigger than a normal pregnancy. She's kicking me like a thunderstorm," I said.
"Okay. Well you are three months along but you look like you're almost to full term. Which is strange. Let's see how the baby's doing and check her heart," he said.
I laid down, lifting my shirt up and pulling the elastic down. "Okay my technician Sonya put the gel on your belly," Dr. Berns said.
"Warning it's hot," Sonya said as she put the gel on my belly. It's very hot on my belly.
"Okay, let's see how baby Roussell's doing," Sonya said. I nodded, as Sonya checked on my baby.
"Okay, there she is. She's a big baby. You are three months but you do look like you're in full term which is strange," she said.
Daisy stood behind Sonya. I heard my baby's heart beating, I started tearing up.
"It's okay, she's perfectly healthy, which is good," she said. Sonya looks at the ultrasound.
"Okay, that's strange," Sonya said, looking concerned. "Is everything okay?" I asked.
Sonya continues to stare and then she faints on the floor. "Oh my," I said, sitting up.
"Nurse!" Dr. Berns calls for help. A couple of nurses rushed into the room.
They helped Soyna off the floor and took her to the firmary to get checked on. "I hope she's okay," I said.
"Me too. I'm gonna bring another one to check to see what happened," Dr. Berns said.
I nodded as I saw a back up one came in. "Thank you, Mariah," Dr. Berns said.
Mariah checked to see what Sonya saw in the ultrasound. Mariah checked to see if my babe scared her or anything.
"Everything's okay. It might've been a glitch that made her faint," Mariah said. Dr. Berns nodded.
"So is my baby still okay?" I asked. "She's good," Mariah said. Mariah stops checking on my baby.
"Okay. I think we're good today," she said, turning off the machine. "Could I see pictures of my little girl in the ultrasound?" I asked.
"Sure," Mariah asked. Mariah cleaned off my belly. I pulled the elastic up, pulling my shirt down as I sat up.
"Here you go," Mariah said, giving me a picture. I smiled softly as I saw my little girl.
"Okay. Since you look at the full term at 3 months. We plan on giving birth next month," Dr. Berns said.
"Is it okay if I do the c-section? I'm scared to give birth naturally," I said. "Well, we usually do c-sections unless the baby or mommy was in danger," Dr. Berns said.
I got a little scared. "Like if my baby was in distress?" I asked. "If she ends up in distress, we will do the c-section. We'll give you an epidural to numb you from the back to your feet," he said.
I nodded, sighing. "Okay, I will schedule to see you next month. If you start feeling contractions before then, just come to the main entrance," he said.
I nodded, sighing. "Sounds good," Daisy said. "So am I free to go?" I asked.
"Yes, have a good rest of your day, Donna," Dr. Berns said. "Thank you, Dr. Berns, you as well," I said, getting up.
Daisy and I leave the room to make my next appointment.
May 4th, 1992
Today is my baby shower. Daisy and Rita planned a beautiful baby shower for me.
Everything is pink and white for girl colors. The cake has pins, raddle, butterflies on it. It says It's A Girl.
We have sherbet punch, sandwich platter and fruit platter to eat. There are girl balloons.
My Aunt Linda, my sister-in-law Charlene, cousin-in-law Dora, and little cousins came from Kansas City last night to celebrate my baby shower.
Also a few adult entertainment actresses are here as well. I'm wearing a pink maternity dress and clog sandals since my feet are swollen and I can't see my feet.
"Thank god, we're in LA weather," I said, smiling. "That's true," Daisy said.
"Thank you, Daisy and Rita for planning this baby shower," I said. "You're welcome," Daisy and Rita said. I have a Mommy to Be sash on.
"Welcome to my baby shower, ladies," I said, smiling. The girls started to bring gifts.
"Okay. We have a couple of games. Around the room, there are four hidden pacifiers. Whoever finds all four of them will get a prize," Rita said to the guests.
The guest nodded. I saw my family as I went to hug them. "Thank you for coming," I said to my aunt.
"You're welcome. Thank you for inviting us," Aunt Linda said. "You're welcome," I said.
---
All the girls and myself finished eating. We are opening gifts right now.
Daisy's writing down the names of the guests that brought gifts. "Okay, this gift is from your sister-in-law Charlene," Daisy said, giving me a gift.
I opened the gift bag, getting out a breast pump. "Oooh," the girls said.
"Thank you, Charlene," I said, smiling. "Are you planning to breastfeed, Donna?" Dora asked.
"Yes. My mom breastfeed me. It's naturally that way. If I end up working, I'll have to pump," I said.
Denise nodded. "Good idea," Denise said. "Thanks again, Charlene," I said.
"You're welcome," Charlene said. "Okay, this gift is from Starla," Daisy said.
I opened the gift, seeing that Starla got me baby clothes, including matching Mommy and Me clothes. "Aww, this is cute," I said.
"Mommy and Me clothes," Rita said. "Thank you, Starla. They're very cute," I said.
"You're welcome," Starla said, smiling. "Okay this gift is from Rita and her family," Daisy said. I sat down with Rita's gift.
I opened it up and it's a bunch of baby things like pacis, booties, mittens, wipes and diapers. "Oh thank you, Rita," I said, smiling.
"You're welcome," Rita said. "Okay. This is from your mom," Daisy said, giving me a big gift bag.
I took the tissue paper out of the bag, seeing a baby blanket. "Oh my gosh! Mom, made this?" I asked.
"Yes, she did. After she found out you were pregnant, she started sewing a blanket for the baby," Aunt Linda said.
I looked up at the heavens. "Thank you, Mom, for making this," I said.
"Okay. One last gift and it's from your Aunt Linda," Daisy said, pushing the big gift.
I stood up to open it. I see a crib. "You got me a crib?" I asked.
"Yes, me and your mom split the cost on the crib," she said, smiling. "Thank you so much," I said.
I hugged my Aunt Linda. "You're welcome," she said. "Actually, there's one more gift and it's from me," Daisy said, bringing it to me.
I unwrapped her gift, it's an ultrasound picture of my baby girl. "Aww, this is amazing. I love it," I said, hugging Daisy.
She hugged me back. "You're welcome," she said. "Well that's all the gifts. Thank you ladies for all the gifts. I appreciate it," I said.
"You're welcome, Donna," the girls said. We continued with the celebration of me becoming a new mommy.
Later That Day
My family, Daisy, and myself went to my house after the baby shower. We're getting the crib together.
I'm finishing setting up the dresser and getting it filled with clothes, blankets, cloth diapers and wipes.
I start feeling a little pain. "Donna, are you okay?" Dora asked.
"Yeah, I think it's Braxton Contractions," I said. "You're only three months pregnant. You don't start feeling those until the 8th month of being pregnant," Aunt Linda said.
"I know. My baby's growing faster than any normal pregnancy," I said. "Every pregnancy is different," Charlene said.
"I'm three months pregnant but I look like I'm six months pregnant, which is weird," I said. My aunt and the rest of my family don't know that I'm pregnant with a cambion.
And I can't tell my family about that or they'll think I'm crazy. "That's weird," Dora said.
"Do you plan on having a natural birth?" Aunt Linda asked. "That's what Dr. Berns said.
However, if the baby's in distress, they'll do a c-section to me," I said.
Aunt Linda nodded.
"Okay. Sounds like a plan," she said. "I don't mind how she's born, all I care is that she's born safe and healthy. That's all that matters," I said.
"True. As long as the baby is born healthy and safe, she'll be okay," Aunt Linda said.
May 18th 1992
My family went back to Kansas City two days after the baby shower. The next time I see them will be after my baby's birth.
Dr. Berns actually scheduled a c-section for me on May 23rd, 1992. Of which is in a few days.
I am on bed rest because I need to rest before then. My body's still hurting me.
I still drink some blood to make sure my baby girl stays half-human so she doesn't turn into a succubus
Well one of the movies I made actually has sold over 100,00 copies. I have a bunch of money saved up to use for me and my baby.
However, Daisy's been dealing with angels lately. One of the angels named Naomi's planning to come to Earth to kill me to prevent my baby from being born.
I finished drinking the blood, throwing it away. I heard wings flapping.
I gasped, seeing Daisy. "Daisy, don't do that!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry, Donna, you have to get out of here fast," Daisy said. I looked at her.
"What's going on?" I asked. "Naomi's coming to Earth. She knows that your baby will be born soon," she said.
"When?" I asked. "In a little bit. You need to go somewhere safe where she can't find you," Daisy said.
I nodded, grabbing the paper that'll ward the angels away. "Okay. Let's go," I said.
Daisy nodded as we left my house so Naomi doesn't kill me in my own home. I got to my car.
"Daisy, are you coming?" I asked. "I can't. If she finds out that I went with you, she'll find you. I'll meet you later," Daisy said.
I nodded, starting my car and drove off. I found an address that Daisy gave to me, and started driving there.
