As Ezra rested himself on the railing to let his emotions to be released without anyone knowing, that would soon change. 

Ezra's pov 

I was there alone again then Sabine walks up beside me, I asked "why are you up this late." Her reply was " I needed a glass of water to go to sleep, ... but I heard your sadness and we have to be there for each other on and off the battlefield, hey I'm sorry for being so snippy when I know you were flirting with me it's obvious, but can you trust me , you tell me the truth what's bothering you and I'll tell you little more about me seems fair " I was thinking how did she become sympathetic now but she is actually trying to help me. I replied " Deal and Sabine you're right we must help each tend each other's wounds." " the nightmare I had was the day my parents were taken away and that night plays in my head every night"

Flashback 

It was another family night for the Bridger family eating dinner after a long days work and Ezra being 10 years old his parents have taught him a lot about their families past even as far back as the battles between the old republic and the sith empire. 

At the table his dad spoke up " son do you know why we trained you so much in secret?" Ezra replied " No dad?" Then his father held his hand across the table and said " we are the guardians of the old republic your ancestry  was one of those commandos during the war , reason we are here still is because the sith empire invaded here for the same reasons the new empire is here now, my dad taught me the same skills I've taught you all I can and son life may be hard ahead but we will love you always and trust in the force." A few minutes of silence then Ezra finished dinner he walked over to put the families dishes in the sink after that he walked to his room moving through the doors to his room. When he entered his room he found a back pack filled to the brim for him was a letter on it ' Son happy birthday bring honor to Lothal like the ones before us and we are always with you every step of the way. Love you Ezra.' Then at that moment ezra opened the bag and found a blaster pistol his father always carried and some armor and other gadgets till he found a helmet a hybrid  Mando / clone trooper phase 2 with  a visor of a scout trooper on the side a range/ target finder on the side of the helmet plus it had some face covers similar to the galactic marines of the republic and all of this was done in multi cam which blended well into Lothals lands. All of sudden a sound all to noticing was a sound of imperial gun ships hovering over their house then a loud voice yelled "Bridger family come out now or we will make our own entry way!!!" 

Death trooper squad leader pov

We were by the door ready for breach our orders were to capture not kill then pryce said over the com "Do it." We places the explosive on the door boom we heard it break the meger table me and my team moved in.

Ezra's father pov 

I ran to my sons room opened it we have a secret hatch hidden so if something like this did happen my son was able to live another day and not be in a imperial cesspit. I opened his door I shoved his helmet in his bag and tossed it to him I looked at him and said "son you have to go I'm right behind you." He was sad and terrified that the empire has came i understand that.  I then shoved his bed over on its side and opened a hatch that connects to the sewer and me and Ezra practiced for such a day like this. 

Ezra's pov 

" dad I love you." I said he then put one last thing in my bag before I climbed down the ladder he replied back "we will always be there Ezra NOW GO!" I had tears in my eyes I reached the bottom and ran on the route my dad and I learned. I made it outside eventually and blended into the crowd of late night party people. I felt lost, guilt but i must not return for now they saved my life so me as their son can live. 

Death trooper pov 

" sir kitchen clear!" I told my squad, then a blaster bolt wizzed by but missed i took aim to shoot at a female she got stunned now we had one more now the husband. As I moved through the hallway with another trooper and my leader we spotted something roll our way it was a gernade.  We opened fire where it came from then I felt the heat of the blast but no shrapnel oddly. I was slammed against the wall I saw my leader get off oh he was now pissed off he charged the  man that was firing in our direction. I saw my leader take a hit to the gut then he tackled the rebel and started beating his face against the wall till he was knocked out. I walked up and cuffed him and we picked up the woman on the way out and pryce personally knocked out her even.  We loaded them up in a gunship and they would be sent to some prison in the galaxy. I thought another days work against annoying rebels. 

As the gunships flew over the city a few civilians looked up in curious about why there was ten gunships in the air even, but one person who watched them was Ezra he understood what he had to do is survive till the empire fell and he went through sleepless nights on the streets thinking about what happened.  But he didn't know his parents known this day would come and the same ship that Hera flew use to be Bridgers they set connections with people before this when Hera bought the ship she didn't know the couple she bought it from the future was for him to be with good people when they were not around. 

Back to present 

As Ezra told Sabine the flash back mince the information only his parents known and not even the contents of the bag he has sobbed his emotions in front of her. She listened and looked with concern for her friend so she handed him a glass of the ice water and Ezra slowly drank the glass . Then she said "Ezra I'm sorry about your family and here's my part of the deal I agreed to." He nodded and said continue please. She replied with "Ezra my family betrayed me when I destroyed a terrible weapon that I designed (sadness sweeps her) I tried to convince my family but they stayed with the empire." "Ezra let's keep this between us I promise that." Ezra said " I agree to the letter." He rubbed Sabines back to comfort her she finally calmed down and felt that Ezra really did care as a friend. Ezra starting his training a few days ago as a Jedi sensed her relaxed and feeling better now. "Hey Sabine it's late and let's head to bed thanks for everything and sorry about the shipment high jacking." Ezra said and Sabine laughed it off thinking how much this step helped fix their wounds we Ezra first joined a week ago. They both went back to their rooms and Sabine looked back to check on Ezra one last time as he went to the common room putting the empty cups of water in the washer , then she laid down and finally went to sleep peacefull for now. Ezra walked back to his room to notice Sabine forgot to close her door so he did for her and walked into his room and climbed into his bunk feeling like some of his demons have been held back for now but he known they would return eventually he didn't know when. He then said " good night my family and the ghost." He fell asleep peacefully for once which was like new life in him as he slept.
