The Rebels were ready for hearing their next op a little to eager. 

"Ezra Bridger.... you've proven yourself in the desperate times from protecting your crew to starting the Firestorm that's inspired many and your tactics on the Empire that are effective so I promote you to lieutenant commander Mr. Bridger." Commander Sato told the young man, zeb came up behind him and said "About time kid." Followed by a punch on his shoulder.  "Ezra and don't fuck up." Hera told him in a stern motherly tone, "Thank you sato." Ezra replied to him but Hera gave him a stern look and all he could think to say is , "okay Hera I'm not that much trouble. Ye..et." , Hera nodded in approval then sato procceded with the briefing pulling up a imperial prison file from the holo table. "Hondo." Ezra said out loud, "yes we want you to break him out... he has information that we need." Commander sato informed them then Hera said "Better get ready we are leaving in fourty five minutes... I'll meet you on the ghost... dismissed Rebels." As the group walked away from the command center Ezra walked slowly thinking about  how both sides of the force he needed guidance. 

About ten minutes later kanan still meditating heard a voice that was unfimiliar , "Kanan Jurras Jedi Knight." The voice spoke through the force to him. "Yes... who are you?" Kanan asked out loud but sensed no one, "ah do you remember the holocron from malachor?" The voice asked, "Yes and what's it have to do with me?" Kanan asked in now a confused state. "Find it and I sense turmoil in your padawan and yourself... after you find it I wanna meet you face to face." The voice answered and it felt like a bunch of bricks have been placed onto the shoulders of the master. So he got up thinking about what the voice meant. 

Ezra was just finished get loaded out for the mission, that's when his door opened up to see no other then his master at the door. "What is it Kanan." Ezra told him with a guilty voice, "Ezra where is the Sith Holocron?" Kanan asked sensing Ezra's guilt then he felt darkness near by. "Ezra be honest with me now, you've been alone just like me." Kanan Followed up with. Ezra closed the door using the force then he dug up the holocron thinking one thing is don't humiliate me. Kanan knew Ezra would be honest with him when he got to the point, Ezra handed the holocron to his master and still waiting for humiliation only got a hug from him and "Thanks for being honest with me." That rocked Ezra to the core causing the darkness to leave him , feeling that his family never left him just like Sabine said earlier. "Ezra you already know I forgive you." Kanan told his friend and adopted son as he let out of the hug with a cheeky smile. "Master please let's keep this between us I don't want Sabine to find out." Ezra told the blind man, "I understand but you're going to have to tell her some day and I got to go meet some body so get them kid." Kanan said as he opened the door and walked out. 

Time skip to the scene where they are at Hondos cell (Kanan and the bundie meet and same conversation) 

"Sabine your up." Ezra told her while standing watch , "I cannot believe we have to bust this guy out." Sabine replied as she entered the code but it was changed everyday  by the warden. The panel buzzed incorrect, "what now?" She told him very annoyed, "cover me Sabine, I'll handle this." He replied holstering both his pistols. Ezra walked in front of the door and placed his hand on it with a deep breath Ezra shattered the cell door to small little fragments. Zeb and the others were in shock of what the heck did Ezra just do. Ezra stood where the door used be , "Hondo this is Ezra we're here to break you out." Ezra said loudly but calmly, that's when Hondo walked out of the shadow with his pig friend (I forgot what species he was but Hondo 😆😆). "Ezra it's been awhile since we've seen each other partner." Hondo said walking out of the cell , that's when two  stormtroopers rounded the corner. Ezra immediately looked at the threat and drew two throwing knives out and using the force launched them deep into the guts of the stormtroopers. Both stormtroopers reached for the knives in them as they slowly slumped against the wall, Ezra reached out with the force and pulled the blades back out and retrieved them.  As Ezra wiped off the blades red blood slowly came through their armor onto their hands. "We have to get moving people." Zeb told them as a reminder. 

After several tense minutes of sneaking through the facility they made it to the door of the prison. That's when the alarm started going off after another group of stormtroopers found their fellow friends in a pool of blood. The door opened with a hiss and the pug thinking it's s home free he started running out side to only be blasted by a AT-DP guarding the landing platform sending the pig flying squealing in terror. "Hera we need a pick up." Ezra said as the squad of stormtroopers and walker started firing more accurately. "Greedy little pig learned the hard way." Hondo said aloud as they took cover behind a stack of crates. Ezra firing in three shot burst started nailing troopers on the landing pad as the others covered the door they went through. "We need to make a move now or we'll be unable to make a move." Sabine yelled as she threw a detonator that exploded in the hall way followed by her blasting the door panel. That's when Ezra felt the force flow through him he stood up behind the crate holstered both pistols and in seconds started running towards the walker. As the pilot and the troopers fired Ezra jumped side to side dodging the bolts and once where he felt he was close enough he jumped off the walkway flying underneath the walker and he reached his hand out giving the walker a massive force push sending the walker flying a few feet in the air. Ezra ignited his lightsaber followed by doing a spin in the air landing on his feet in the middle of the platform, he noticed all the stormtroopers were now focused on him and started shooting at him. With every blaster bolt shot it was sent back to who it came from and jumped as he clipped his lightsaber the walker slammed its head on the edge of the landing pad and with such momentum it left a massive dent in the pad after the walker fell. 

"Prepare to jump guys!" Hera said over the coms, that's when the ghost appeared as Ezra ran in front of the group activating his lightsaber once again blocking blaster bolts to cover everyone. Once he saw they started to jump right on time he jumped towards the ghost blocking blaster bolts even as he landed. "Let's get out of here." Zeb said, "Hondo return my blaster now or you'll be messing with a mando you'll regret pissing off." Sabine said looking at him through her helmet. Then "I'd do it Hondo it's better to be safe than sorry around her." Ezra added on. 

Time skip to after stealing the Y-wings and back on Atollon. (Ezra does everything he did but he did it with out the dark side.) 

The crew looked at what they had been able to capture but things weren't well with Hera and Ezra. Hera turned to look at him with a disappointed look on her face, "Ezra I'm suspending you of your command for 6 months." Hera said to him in front of everyone making him feel guilty and miserable inside. "You should just put me back as a private if you're gonna do that to me." Ezra replied and zeb tryed to be loyal and defend Ezra but when they both looked where he was Ezra was gone. "Ezra?" Kanan said aloud in a sadden voice, "Guys I'll go look for him he'll talk to me more easily." Sabine said with a concerning tone. "Tell Ezra I'd like a personal word with him please." Hera told her artist and the rest of them were signaled to head back inside.

Sabine started her search looking for her friend and the man who she loved. Unknown to them Commander Sato heard the whole thing and he got the idea to talk to Bridger and hearing that Ezra was willing to be demoted for his actions showed great responsibility. So the two both began there search around the base. 

A half hour passed and thanks to seeing where kanan was by the fence he saw a figure sitting on a crate, so sato walked up beside him and "Bridger." Sato said calmly. "Yes commander Sato." Ezra asked still looking at the ground. "I over heard about you wanting demoted.... that shows great responsibility, that's why I promoted you in the first place because you take the consequences seriously and you've handled yourself well Ezra... I'm not relieving of your command but say take a break for a few days Mr. Bridger." Commander Sato said. Ezra lifted his head thinking about everything he said to him and Ezra thanked the commander. Only a few yards away Sabine had heard the whole thing and had used her helmet to record everything and once the conversation ended she sent it to Chopper to let the others watch it.  Once Sato disappeared she stood up from her hiding place and made her way to Ezra, "Hey Ez." She said in a soft voice, "Hey Sabine." He replied looking over atollons desert. "Ezra dinner is ready." Sabine told him and that got him to look at her and when his eyes locked both looked at each other's bodies inch by inch letting their eyes explore. "Yeah ... we better eat and sorry about running off on you guys." He nervously told her as he got off the crate. "Ezra don't be we're always here for each other." 

The pair took their time  as they walked together enjoying the peaceful night and each other's presence..  Meanwhile on the ghost chopper was playing the recording of the conversation to the others and they were discussing what to do. "The Kid did bring up a pretty harsh punishment option." Zeb said a little sad, "but he showed us that he is very responsible and Sato said it too and I'm proud of him for being responsible." Kanan said, "both points are true, I'll go easy on him." Hera said as she got up from her seat and started dinner. That's when the two teens walked in both having smiles on their faces.  Sabine went to sit down as Ezra placed his helmet on a chair across the room.

Ezra came back and sat beside Sabine then "Ezra I'm sorry for getting mad at you earlier." Hera said. "I forgive you Hera." Ezra replied as she finished dinner. "Ezra I take back what I said now let's eat." Hera said in her motherly tone with small smile. 

The night was better than it has been in months , Ezra was happy enough he almost fell off the chair as zeb cracked a joke. Hera and kanan snuggled in the couch once each finished dinner and Sabine was happy to have her Ezra Bridger back. The family has been through a lot and things are going to get more challenging not just anything they've faced before.
