Ezra was in emotional turmoil underneath his helmet, the planets people he cared for was held at gun point, his parents friend old joe had a painful death that the old innocent bar tender didn't deserve. "You may not like this but it's necessary for us to win my home?" Ezra said to the group and through his helmet, "what's that Bridger?" Vizago asked walking up with a bag of storm trooper rations and a E11 with its stock folded out. "I've been captured before by the empire but this will buy us time for small squads to get people to safety and once the factory is secure I got plans." , "Ezra no we can find another way?" Hera said to him on the ghost as they came down to land. "Ezzy please!" Sabine said through her wrist com as she was treated on a ventor for her injuries, "Sabine... it is the only option I promise I'll be okay." Ezra responded with determination that even his master knew wouldn't be negotiated with.

A minute later Ezra pulled out his personal holodisk and adjusted it to imperial frequency on lothal. On the imperial dome Pryce had old joes head mounted on her desk. "Governor we have a incoming transmission." A imperial officer said to her as he walked into her office , "put it through." Pryce ordered . In a second the fimiliar camo figure she's hunted and has seen so much damage done to her reputation. "Interesting move Bridger." Pryce responded with coldly, "I'll surrender and I'll come alone just don't hurt my people." Ezra responded with in front of his men, "fine turn yourself in... then we can negotiate for your... people." Pryce snarled because she was just handed a datapad with the current situation over Lothal , "turn yourself in at the entrance of the city."  Pryce ordered which Ezra nodded and ended the transmission.  "Reznov prepeare 20 man teams to free the hostages and send transports to break people free from the mining guild." Ezra said as he jumped on a stolen imperial speeder. "Ezra I love you and  please be careful." Sabine said on her wrist com as her and her brother as the sound of a speeder went off in the back ground. All of sudden her mother's voice came through, "Sabine, Tristan I'll be arriving over lothal soon on the situation." Ursa said , "mother there's another reason... this isn't you?" Sabine questioned as them two went to the Bridge.  "It's about you and Ezra." Ursa replied  as her pilots informed they were a few minutes out. 

Meanwhile Ezra's men were doing as ordered getting enough explosives for walkers and Hera who noticed the movement down below landed the ghost. "What's going on  Lieutenant?" Kanan asked as he was greeted by two guards from a patrol around the landing zone. "General Bridger is gonna buy us time for us to free citizens but Ezra doesn't want the factory destroyed but cleared." The  Lieutenant guard explained to kanan and Hera who was on the ramp.

Meanwhile at the entrance,two AT-ATs aimed there guns at Ezra which Ezra  activated his weapon locks. "Put your hands up Ezra... Bridger." A death trooper demanded as a squad walked  up to him wrapping two binders, one onto his wrist and elbows. "I'd be careful if I were you trooper." Ezra jokes to them and they just shoved him along. Minutes later three gunships arrived each packing chain gun troopers especially by the situation Ezra had forced Pryce into She was desperate. 

In her office a empty chair for her capture. Moments later two death troopers escorted Ezra in at gun point. "Sit down rebel!" One of the death trooper demanded , as he was forcefully sat down.  "Mr. Bridger?" Pryce said as she stood and circled around him gliding her nails across his starbird on his left shoulder pad. "Seems Sabine means a lot to you Jedi?" Pryce said with a evil tone, "you even dare attempt hurting her I'll kill you." Ezra replied coldly , Pryce seductively walked behind him and started running her fingers down his neck to his back. "Fun for me then I'll have to make sure she finds you slowly bleeding to death so she has no husband." Pryce answered as she went to her desk and drew a medical razor blade out. The death troopers who thought what they did was sick to old joe made one realize they were nothing compared in brutality to imperial high command.  Pryce walked forward and she went to jab at Ezra's hand but Ezra reacted with the force and threw her against the wall and the death troopers moved to kill him but they were lifted up and shaped their necks all at once. "Immmmposible!" Pryce said as she was slowly getting up in fear. Ezra then stood up and shattered his cuffs and drew a blaster pistol followed by walking up to Pryce. "I warned you now you'll do what I'll order or else I'll take you to the rebellion for war trials!" Ezra barked. 

Meanwhile the teams were doing their best to avoid patrols of imperials but they noticed something was different this time the empire was giving up ground quickly. "That's unusual?" Wolfe said followed by a few nods of agreement including Ketsu. All of sudden "I repeat protocol thirteen this isn't a drill!" , the fimiliar voice of Pryce echoed through the city which troopers raised their blasters to shoot civilians but before anyone could shoot back they lowered their guns, "leave them!" A commander yelled to his squad as kanan snuck behind a wall watching the whole thing, "Ezra please be alive." He mumbled to himself but the guardians taking advantage of the moment stormed the troopers and opened fire wiping out the two whole squads around the city market. All across the city the imperials has to make a forced retreat not just because Pryce was held at gun point but the guardians and rag tag rebels made the empire run. Many troopers ether dropped their weapons or we're killed but for any armor such as AT-ATs that were to slow they felt the burn of emp and thermite gernades on their feet. "Get inside!" A death trooper yelled as he payed down covering fire but it was no use because a sniper just shot him clean through his helmet and out the other side. 

"Now launch !" Ezra demanded as the report of all the garrison was inside from TIE pilots who were glad that the rebellion didn't shoot them down as they landed. Minutes later the imperial crew due to pryce's orders they launched, "Ezra get out of there!" Hera yelled, "reznov once high enough for the dome... use all turbo laser batteries to destroy this imperial dome!" Ezra yelled in his wrist com. Sabine and Tristan heard it then a massive barrage with  precision opened fire on Ezra's position. Sabine fell on her knees and cried , she lost the man she loved due, "EZZZZRA NOOOO!" Sabine balled a quiet silence fell over the coms as rounds struck the dome causing it to explode after  receiving a direct hit to its reactor. 

The ghost crew and others watched but through the smoke on the ground a figure walked through it. Civilians were in shock but sadness hit the rebels hard after a long time of silence. "Guys I'm here." A calm voice came through the air and kanan recognized the voice immediately and ran into the smoke. After minutes of running hit slammed into something and it was no other than Ezra. 

Through the coms Ezra's voice came through quickly comforting everyone. With the battle of lothal over the ghost landed and kanan proposed to Hera as she got off the ramp in front of all of citizens and soldiers. Clamping and blaster fire filled the air followed with fireworks, later that night the lothal celebrations were crazy through the streets in the evening after the bodies and Metal was cleared. A slow song played with Sabines mom and dad, Hera and kanan holding each other close and Ezra and Sabine sneaking a few kisses in every few steps but Ursa and Aldrich danced their way over to Sabine and Ezra and Ursa said "Mr. Bridger you have my blessing to marry my daughter." Alrich nodded in agreement and Sabine was so happy she bear hugged Ezra and cried tears of joy on his armor and Ezra thanked them both. Meanwhile watching Ketsu was flirting with Tristan but she had enough and drug him into the group of dancers the ghost crew saw and laughed till their lungs hurt. 

Fast forward 1 year 

The day of liberation brought new might and life to lothal, Ezra who was right about his suspicions acquired thrawns remaing Tie defenders that were in the wear house of the factory just needing pilots and the pollution was gone and loth cats and wolfs ran across the prairie grass that grew back. The war wasn't over for the guardians but lothal was free and ruder as reinstated Governor has a public works project rebuild Ezra's tower that now Ezra and Sabine stayed in. 

The  Phoenix squadron will re-emerge from their quiet life with force the rebellion lost but a battle where old foes will meet again.
