While the crew got ready two young souls had a lot on their minds not just a war and trust between themselves, the force works in mysterious ways. 

Sabine Pov 

Why did Ezra choose me to go with him on probably one of the most dangerous parts of this mission? I thought so I sat down to think I was amazed how much has pulled his own weight or more since he has joined he truly is a hard worker and he has earned every night he stays here with the crew and oh yeah I don't have a knife but my parents before they threw me out trained me in some basic knive techniques but the person I would have to go to Ezra and talk to him about this 

Meanwhile 

Hera went to the cockpit after the briefing she was a little worried about how the plan would go. Then kanan walked in, "what's wrong love I don't need to the force to know that?" Kanan asked Hera, a few seconds passed and Hera looked kanan directly at his eyes "I'm worried about the crew all of us we have never done anything this risky and bold." Hera replied, kanan  Took a seat in his usual seat he can understand why she said that he was in the same thoughts.

Hera pov 

"Kanan I know people need to see the Empire defeated but us as a crew has  never done anything like this!" I said then kanan replied "I know but Spectre 6 probably done risky things when he was on the streets remember how he was it took him time for him to get settled into us and he probably is still." "I can see what your getting at with this." Was all I could think to answer Kanan. "Do you trust him Hera?" Kanan followed up immediately with them I gave my answer "Yes I do ..., I think you're right about Spectre 6 we need to take risk and actually show that just a  pilot, gun sling bar tender, mando Artist, a survivor, a veteran of the clone wars and a gentleman guardian can insult the Empire on its birthday." "Thanks Love" then I hugged him tightly for a while then I released him and sat back down in my chair and started running a scan of the ghost to double check if there are problems that needs fixed I don't want to drop out of the ski like a rock. 

Kanan pov 

I saw Hera do her usual stuff before the missions , she was at home here just like a crazy family crammed into a little house. 

"Hey Love I'm gonna meditate now." I told her she looked at me and nodded so walked out and headed to my room. I'm confident in my  Padawan  he has put in the majority of the effort leading up to this and as a family we need to trust him, all we have to do is follow through this days plan for him. 

Ezra's  POV 

Zeb and I were just chatting about the usual things like trying to prank chop and the other stuff but he had to get a drink which I needed the alone time since the few minutes before Sabine helped me out with my stuff there was actually a third vibro knife exact same as the other two. I hid it under my pillow Long before she came in . Being a Jedi helps a lot with things around the ghost.  But back to the mission I know Sabine Wren doesn't carry a knife she prefers explosives, blasters or her bare fist which I feel sorry for anyone meeting their end by her. Then there was a loud few knocks on the door that made me jump a little getting me out of my state of thought. 

Sabine Pov 

I knocked on Ezra's door after Zeb left I wanted some alone time to get answers and see if he could help me with my equipment. Then I heard "come in" so I walked in and leaned against the the door. Immediately as I got comfortable he stood up and reached for something under his pillow on the top bunk. As he did he said "I understand your missing a piece of equipment." I answered with "yes Ezra your correct but I need to ask you some questions." With his calm deep voice as he turned around and handed me something that looked familiar. He replied "Anything Sabine what's up?" I looked at him directly in the eye and answered "Why did you choose me to be with you instead of kanan or Zeb and I was wondering if you could teach me some on these blades?" 

Ezra's POV 

I replied to Sabine "Sabine reason I didn't choose ethier of them is I wanted kanan on the ground since if we were spotted together it would loose the element of surprise and if one of us is spotted we can jump into help each other because they haven't noticed the other group and the reasons I choose you is you can get a better angle with your specialty EXPLOSIVES, and we are better with our blasters than Zeb and kanan put together and  us on the roofs laying down covering fire gives us a advantage." Then I handed her the knife that still was in its sheath to her.

Sabines POV 

He handed me looks like another knife and I grabbed it and he said "Sabine I'll help you out after this mission I'll train you in that blade and other skills I've learned while growing up and oh yeah keep the knife." I was in shock he gave me one of his personal vibro knives and I pulled the blade out off it's plastic lock-in sheath seeing the layers of  Damascus rolled cortosis the waves of the metal are so beautiful and such a art form of itself. 

The type of knife Ezra has on his legs and the one she is holding in her hands. 

Ezra's POV 

I could see Sabine wasn't expecting this to be given to her then I spoke up "Sabine go get that were you prefer it we have some time I can Help you out meet me in the cargo bay in a few."

The teens stepped out of the room Ezra went to the cargo bay and layed out the three hand stitched bandoliers and light cloaks that was needed for tonight's disruption.  Meanwhile he waited he got everyone's explosives on their bandoliers and he grabbed a few more from the crates and adjusted them to thermal so if he throw these into the mix of the choas of their attack would only cause more damage to the empire.  

Sabines POV 

I walked down the hall towards the cargo bay I had the new blade on my hip where I felt comfortable reaching for it and I've noticed that with his setup. I saw he was getting explosives on the bandoliers a mix of HE and EMP gernades , I had my regular paint and smoke ones too. I slid down the ladder and said "ready for training Ezra blades!" 

So they trained, Ezra teaching her how to take advantage of the double edged blade with  precision, he showed her multiple ways to take down a enemy and more from using it to disarming foes, when she would make a mistake Ezra was honest about it and helped her refine her technique. Both were so  focused on each other they didn't even know that chopper was watching them and recording it. 

Eventually Sabine got used to using the blade and Ezra saw a smile creeping across her face. 

Sabines POV 

Ezra was teaching me in such an small amount of time but when I made a mistake he was honest , clear and very helpful to me and I know he could have stopped at the basic stuff but he went awhile further than I thought he would, he showed me how to do speed strikes, where to hit people from behind, which parts of the body that can be hit with full speed and definitely bring a  enemy to their death 💀. We did this for 30 minutes as we wiped off our sweat he handed me my bandolier that to  signify it was  mine he even sewed my famous STARBIRD on it. "Hey Ezra thanks for putting your own time into teaching me.... I've never had anyone do that for me since I was little." Ezra replied "Sabine it's nothing I know you would do the same for me or anybody on here heck even chopper, but we have 20 minutes till then let's get everyone rounded up and do a final review of the mission and Sabine I'm proud of you that we are friends now." 

As they grabbed their helmets that sat beside each other on the same crate Ezra got everyone together and did a final summary of the plan, grabbed their equipment and explosives and jumped on their speeders heading towards the capital and Hera lifted off and stayed low enough that the imperial scanners wouldn't pick her up. 

The five other Spectres sped through the Prarie of Lothal heading towards their objective. 

The brutality of the Empire soon be answered by  a small group of freedom fighters
