Ezra was busy getting the latest information from rebel information department about recent activity through rebel spies in the lothal sector, one thing Ezra noticed commonly was new tie fighters were becoming more prominent there which Ezra knew it was the Defender program. Things were great last few days from mandalorian soldiers training other rebel insurgents across the galaxy but unknown to the specters mon mothma had other plans in mind. 

"Thanks for the information  Lieutenant." Ezra said to Kassen as Ezra was given a data chip containing Recent troop movements in the area but not directly due to Thrawns enforcers on lothal. That's when Sabine hugged her boyfriend from behind.

Meanwhile on a tie factory in the outer rim a different series of events were going down. "Boy Vader is using you for his personal gain!" Kota yelled at starkiller but that didn't help because the assassin just lunges at the Jedi forcing him to block the lightsaber attack. With explosions all around from the fighters outside a x wing was sent crashing below the command center causing it to flex down ward as the massive explosion rocked the facility. With this both men were thrown near the glass but starkiller got a metal rod through his chest just barely missing his lung, Ron Kota quickly reacted by placing his hand over the angry Jedi hunter but with the gentle touch Kota felt the boys pain and anger from his training to his missions . A minute of doing this starkiller passed out but Kota felt peace in his mind once again, with the liberation he gained he sliced the metal rod below starkiller and threw him over his shoulder and ran out of the blast doors and cut the door just as it sheered off from the facility after a explosion from the battle outside rocked the place. "Starkiller where are you the facility is going down!" The female pilots voice came over the radio on his unility belt. Kota thinking quickly grabbed it off the boy as he ran with flames  started billow through the place forcing him to keep adapting on the fly. "Starkiller is injured meet me at bay 5!" Kota yelled but Juno and proxy hearing he was injured immediately flew through the choas outside and made it to the bay just as the doors opened up with Kota running with the limb boy who had bleed on his shoulder armor.

(The wound Galen marick sustained ) (I KNOW ITS MW3 dust to dust mission but it's as close as I can get to the wound I'm talking about) 

Juno opened the ramp and just as it was fully lowered Kota jumped on the ramp and ran starkiller to the medical bay. As Kota sat the boy down and helped the medical droid he felt the muzzle behind his head, "your Ron Kota ... why the shouldn't I kill you right now!" Juno yelled as proxy flew out of the bay before a massive explosions started destroying the facility. "If I hadn't of saved him he wouldn't be ever to tell you he cares for you and proxy as family and even more." Kota said as he put pressure on the wound as the droid pulled the rod out. With a loud scream from Starkiller the rod was out and the droid wrapped his waist up as doing other tasks. Juno was so close just resting her finger on the blasters trigger and in her mind she just wanted to kill him then and there but she couldn't do it and lowered her weapon. "Starkiller is stable... he needs rest." The medical droid said as he placed a IV into each arm. Kota was exhausted and just slumped over on the wall and Juno could see sadness in the old mans eyes , then "poor kid he doesn't deserve that life of pain and suffering."  Kota muttered which Juno finally holstered her pistol and told proxy to put a distress  beacon out for the rebellion only. 

"Sir we got some distress beacon coming in." A technical support officer on a ventor  informed Ezra who was on the ground of Yavin , "patch it through to the whole base." Ezra ordered . "This is Juno ecplise we got a severally injured force sensitive on board and repeat we need help." The beacon repeatedly said through the inner coms which mon mothma gave the go ahead for a rescue operation. "Bridger send a team to help them and maybe they can join the rebellion?" Mon mothma radioed to Ezra which gave the order for a cruiser with a squadron of fighters to meet the ship that sent the distress beacons location. 

As the rogue shadow was damaged by derby it wasn't able to make a full hyperspace jump just enough for the next system where they broadcasted their distress call. "We got something coming out of hyperspace." Juno said to the droid and now Kota who was in Galen's chair. Just then a republic cruiser and escort star fighters appeared out of hyperspace, "this is guardian cruiser 10X48 we got a distress call from a Juno ecplise." The captain said over the coms which she confirmed it was them and the fighters took a look at the damage which was lucky due to the engine damage they were lucky as heck. "We'll dock with you and get medical personnel on board immediately to help your situation ma'am." The captain told the group which was grateful to survive and once enemies are each other's saviors. 

Guardian medics rushed on board as soon they were latched and Juno powered down the rogue shadow before jumping into hyperspace. With the damage Galen sustained he was rushed through the cruisers narrow hallways to the surgical room. As the news of a successful operation the captain informed the rebellion of the success and current state of the injured boy and Kota went to take a shower as proxy and Juno were taken for interrogation. 

Kanan who was sitting in his chair in the ghost over heard the operations success brought a smile to his face just then Hera walked in and took a seat. But she had a concerned face, "Kanan things are getting ugly here." She said looking at her hot coffee, "I noticed that sense we left to help mandalore, mon mothma has attempted to send missions away from lothal when we clearly are seeing more of thrawns personnal project taking a toll on the war effort." Kanan said loosing his smile because they were sent with a wing of Y-wing bombers to knock out a few cruisers blockading one of the planets they have had sent food to before. "Ezra is right... we need to take out Thrawn and the defender factory soon or the rebellion fleet will be trashed." Hera said remembering the first time they in countered the defender program in combat over atollon. Kanan this kisses her fore head , and they shared the drink. 

Ezra , Sabine and a few mandalorians were walking through the base to the staging area that's when mon mothma's voice came over the loud speakers. "The ones who participated in the liberation of mandalore disobeyed orders now they are traitors to shoot on sight." Mon mothma said through the holo speaker. All of sudden the group pulled their blasters out as rebel commandos started trying to cut off the group to get to their ships. Outside wedge jumped into his x wing and he noticed mart running To the ghost followed by kallus which wedge activated the hover mode on his star fighter and fired at the two sending them into the cargo room with burns. "Mother fuckers will die!" Wedge yelled just as the ghost lifted off from it taking two rocket launchers to its huel. Zeb and reznov joined the group escaping through the base. They reached outside and ran to cover behind some crates as a heavy blaster started opening fire. "Launch well join you guys later now  go!" Ezra yelled to his fleet which was dealing with the multiple star fighters and cruisers the rebellion had but due to the guardians funding during the clone wars they had the strongest shields in the galaxy and the best trained fleet personnel.

Bail organa and Leia stayed in their quarters to avoid being seen as a enemy of the rebellion but they supported both Ezra and the rebellion which bail knew Ezra would save people from the empire  and his family legacy is strong with the republic he served. 

"Let's blow some stuff up!" Zeb growled in anger from them being labeled as traitors. All of sudden a cargo mover speed by them and Sabine taking the chance shot it setting off a massive explosion launching everyone in the area a good distance back. The ghost crew quickly got up but Hondo ran up and helped the others up before three blaster bolts hit his back killing him immediately. The mandalorian he helped caught the pirates body and cursed out loud as he drew his pistol and killed the rebel trooper who was behind a crate. That's when the ghost made a straffing run providing enough cover for them to get in a rebel u -wing but before leaving Rex ran up as he fired his blaster pistols. "Go go go!" Rex yelled as he slammed the door shut before the transport was rocked by hand gernades. Zeb who has gotten to know Hondo well as a friend took his friends corpse and closed the pirates eyes with his fingers. Everyone on board was sad from this betrayal even the mandalorians wanted to rip the spines out of rebel high command when they get their chance.  Meanwhile they escaped the ghost was being perssued by three x wings but none of them could land a hit, "chopper get on the rear gun and take them out!" Hera yelled as kanan was shooting in the ball turret got a few hit on one of the Star fighters but barely missing wedge. All of sudden a dozen arc170s flew above the ghost a lit the three up without hesitation, "ghost crew get locked in now we are evacuating the system as soon general Bridger and the others get home." The flight leader told Hera as the covered her with a escort to a ventor. Ezra and other guardians landed inside the hangers across the fleet , "we need to jump ASAP!" Ezra ordered as he got out of the u wing.

For the rescue operations cruiser it just arrived out of hyperspace then the crew was informed of the betrayal before a few a wings attacked the fighters that were given new orders to make sure that cruiser is the first one to leave. With seasoned veterans the rebellion was taking casualties from the ground kalani had stayed to provide a distraction for others to leave. Rebel troopers were cutting through the droid ranks eventually kalani was with two dL-44 blaster pistols alone just trying to survive then as he lined up on another commando a blaster bolt went straight through the droids head. On the Jedi temple kassan had killed the general for good. 

With the guardians final move was to get out of there and they jumped through hyperspace just as one cruiser launched a escape pod full of heavy assault droids so they would cause a distraction to the rebellion as they made their escape.

The rebellion now fractured made the change of the war effort change for the liberation of the galaxy but any news of this was censored from reaching the holonet. Ezra and other's cremated Hondo for his friendship and before launching his ashes into space Ezra placed a credit in his box of ashes because he always knew Hondo would find a way for credits. A fleet floating in space on the ventor launched the box and even Sabine needed a hug because she never liked the pirate but he was there with the crew for so many missions early on , zeb and others left the area just for the couple to look out into empty space. 

The guardians will need a base of their own and what struggles will be against the divided rebellion and will lothal be liberated so the republic can be reborn.
