Dracen Rosebush-The vampiric patriarch of the Rosebush family who is a strict and cautious but loving father and husband to his six daughters and beautiful human wife. As a vampire and besides sucking blood, Dracen can teleport, run faster than a human, has super strength, is supernaturally more agile than any other beings, turn invisible, heal himself rapidly from any physical injury, blending himself in the shadows, see the flow of blood of any living being, to see clearly in the dark, shapeshift, and manipulate darkness. Dracen is the middle child of the Rosebush family. His family are ruthless vampires who preyed and sucked the blood of those who are seen as feast. Unlike his older brothers and younger sister, Dracen is repulsed of sucking the blood of the humans and was only putting up his coldblooded facade to mask his kind nature out of fear of his parents due to their hatred for humans. Though he shows repulsion, Dracen couldn't keep his vampiric instincts under control as it's constantly kicking in whenever he smells blood from afar or nearby. Although he's in good terms with his siblings, Destin and Valene, Dracen shares a complicated relationship with Duane, who looks down at his younger brother with contempt due to his compassion. Despite having a civil relationship with his parents, their relationship came off as fake since Dracen was only masking his polite nature to pleased his parents and not wanting them to see his compassion towards humans as weak. That is until his life changes when he met and fell in love with a young woman named Rue, who is a freelance magician that performs dark magic. They first met when he saw and applauded her performance in town square of Transylvania after Rue performed a sneaky trick on Transylvania's stuck-up aristocrat when she summons bats to soar out of her dress skirt that causes her to flinched and fell to the fountain making her a laughingstock. After her disastrous performance, Dracen for the first time stepped in and comforted the poor magician. They soon became friends as Dracen began secretly seeking out to hang out with Rue every night. Dracen became more comfortable around Rue to the point where he feels like he should tell her about his vampiric specie. He thought about it for a long time and took Destin and Valene's advice on taking time without putting himself in pressure. At first, he was nervous on telling Rue his vampiric specie, but was surprised when she appeared unfazed and admitted that she knew he's different since the moment she saw him because of her telepathy. Rue even shows empathy and took the news genuinely. For the first time, Dracen's heart became in eased and  he is enamored by the person who shows no fear and is the only woman who made him feel human. As they spend more time together for the whole month of April, Dracen and Rue find themselves developing feelings for one another. They both confessed their feelings and start dating, but his parents found out about it and they disapproved immediately as his parents demanded him to break off his relationship with Rue, but instead of complying his parent's wishes as usual. Dracen finally took the courage to stand up against his parents and refused to break off with Rue. Destin and Valene are the only two people who support his relationship with Rue, they decided to help Dracen and Rue with their wedding where they both got married in the Bran Castle. Then they travel to East Anglia for their romantic and enchanting honeymoon where they met and took in the legendary Black Shuck, whom he changed his name to Ash after Rue and Dracen saved him from a mob of hunters. Afterwards, they moved to Rue's hometown in Spooksville, West Virginia where they lived in a large mansion in the dark forest that was once owned by The Unknown and ended up having six beautiful dhampir daughters along with their shadowy guardian black demon dog and house butler Ash.

Rue Rosebush-The human matriarch of the Rosebush family who is the protective, calm, sweet, and dry humored mother who loves and cares deeply for her daughters and husband. Rue once worked as a freelance magician who travels around the world where she performs her black magic tricks to everyone in different states, but wasn't that popular due to black magic being looked down upon. Soon her life changed when Rue met and befriended the youngest vampire prince Dracen Rosebush during her trip in Transylvania after he applauded her performance and comforted Rue when her last performance didn't go well. As they spend more time together, Rue and Dracen grew romantic feelings for one another, but his family don't approve of Dracen's relationship with a human except for his older brother Destin and younger sister Valene. With Destin and Valene's help, they secretly got married in the Bran Castle and they travel to East Anglia for their honeymoon where they met and took in the legendary Black Shuck, whom he changed his name to Ash after they saved him from a mob of hunters. Afterwards, they moved to Rue's hometown in Spooksville, West Virginia where they lived in a large mansion in the dark forest that was once owned by The Unknown and end up having six beautiful dhampir daughters along with their shadowy guardian and house butler Ash, who is a black demonic dog. She now works as a waitress at the Valkyrie Cafe. Although has no powers, Rue utilizes black magic, telepathy, and telekinesis as her reliability for her family; which is how Ruby inherited her telekinesis and passionate love for black magic (minus the necromancy). Her telepathy ability was also passed on to their 19-year-old eldest daughter, Scarlet.

Ash-A sarcastic, blasé, and snarky shadowy black demon dog who is the house butler and guardian for the Rosebush family. Unbeknownst to the children with the exception of Dracen and Rue, Ash is actually the infamous legendary Black Shuck from the coastline and countryside of East Anglia. For centuries, the beast known as Black Shuck struck fear into the hearts of all who crossed his path. Just a single glimpse was enough to impart a fatal curse; the briefest encounter sufficient to suck the life from any hapless victim. He was also known to kill worshippers during an almighty thunderstorm in August 1577 at Holy Trinity church, Blythburgh. A clap of thunder burst open the church doors and a hairy black 'devil dog' came snarling in. It ran through congregation, killing a man and boy and causing the church steeple to fall through the roof. Scorch marks still visible on the church doors are purported to have come from Shuck's claws as it fled. Next stop was 12 miles away in Bungay, where two worshippers were killed at St Mary's church. One was left shrivelled 'like a drawn purse' as he prayed. Although his howling makes the hearer's blood run cold, his footfalls make no sound. However centuries later, Black Shuck longer terrorized the village of East Anglia as the East Anglian villagers knew exactly how to kill him. As he was constantly blending in shadows to hide from a mob of hunters, his life changed when he met vampire prince Dracen Rosebush and his human wife Rue. He was distrustful and hostile of them at first, but soon warms up to them after he and Rue saved him from the hunters. Afterwards, the three moved to Rue's hometown in Spooksville, West Virginia where he changed his name to Ash and became the Rosebush family's loyal guardian and butler. His eyes are green in human form, but whenever triggered or sense danger, Ash's eyes will turn bloody red.

Scarlet Rosebush-The 19-year-old eldest daughter of the Rosebush family who is the hardworking, determined, elegant, and intelligent teenager with a sense of duty and pride. With five younger sisters, one more unruly than the other, somebody needs to maintain order and stability which happens to be Scarlet besides her father and mother. As the oldest sister of the family, Scarlet makes sure that her sisters keep out of trouble and never interfere the lives of humans. Henceforth the name "Stern Red". When Scarlet was a child, she once had a human friend named Hyatt Klum whom she always played with in a human elementary school. However, this friendship has been damaged when Scarlet's vampiric instincts took over and bites Hyatt. Scarlet became so frightened and embarrassed that she and her parents decided to move to the forest where she and her sisters attend to monster school. While attending Monster high with Carmen and Ruby, Scarlet still holds guilt for the attack on her childhood friend until she met Hyatt once again when her youngest sister Robin met his younger brother Jazz. Throughout the story Scarlet struggles to rekindle her friendship with Hyatt due to her fear of her vampiric instincts kicking in again, but they both eventually rekindled as the story progresses. But soon Scarlet finds herself developing strong feelings for Hyatt. Besides looking out for her sisters, Scarlet spends most of her time reading novels, playing the piano, and watching musicals. She and most of her sisters are half vampire and human which makes them immune to the sun and eat human food, but the quantity of the blood a dhampir needs will vary greatly for the body. Much like her father, Scarlet can manipulate darkness, and blend herself in the shadows. She can also teleport through shadows and darkness whenever she's near or able to touch shadows or darkness in anywhere else. She also inherited her mother's telepathy.

Carmen Rosebush-The 17-year-old second daughter of the Rosebush family who is the flirtatious, provocative, vivacious, and whimsical tease. When first meet her, Carmen came out as a typical flirt with a femme fatale vibe who loves being the center of attention in her school or in public; much to her sisters' annoyance as well as titillating men up with her frisky ways and telling off-color jokes to make them laugh. Which explains why her peers called her "Sexy Red" due to her flirtatious nature with an alluring beauty that entices every boy around her. However, behind her seductive front is a gentle girl who is sweet as pie and loves her younger sisters, her older sister, their house butler Ash, and most of all, her parents. She also dislikes men who mistreat their families or them bad mouthing about her family or her older sister and younger sisters. Carmen also has a soft spot for children as she has four younger sisters and see them as adorable. After witnessing her eldest sister sucking the blood of a human, Carmen starts to keep her distance from her peers due to fear of hurting them just like how Scarlet hurt Hyatt. After the family moves to the forest to attend monster schools for their children, Carmen was having a hard time adjusting her new environment just like her sisters. But as she enters her prepubescent years, her vampiric instincts soon develops when she couldn't stop smelling the blood of a human. She tries to suppress her instincts, but no avail. Desperate to keep herself alive, Carmen has no choice but to sacrifice her own innocence and seduce a prepubescent boy to regain blood for her body. After she and her sisters entered high school, Carmen became Monster High's femme fatale due to her undeniable craving for blood where she seduces men at night and lures them to the woods before devouring their blood. When not flirting other guys, Carmen spends most of her time teasing her sisters (mostly Ruby), shopping or roaming around the mall, dressmaking, sewing, watching RuPaul's Drag Race, posting photos on Instagram, and taking selfies in her room. Besides sucking blood, Carmen can seduced men with her supernatural beauty as well as hypnotizing other humans to do her biding. She can also shapeshift into people as well as manipulating pink flames and camouflage in surroundings.

Ruby Rosebush-The 15-year-old third daughter of the Rosebush family who is the deadpan, blunt, sarcastic, and low-key pessimist with a dark sense of humor. When it comes to life, Ruby shows a cold and jaded view of the world today. She believes human society is where people were held captive by their own inner demons and brainwashed by the "curses" that society puts them through. Ruby is even repulsed by social media on how it's "contaminating" people into becoming "mindless and blinded idiots". This causes everyone in her school to call her "Goth Red" due to her pessimism, expressionless, sarcasm, and dark sense of humor. Although sarcastic and distant, Ruby is insecure with her leg brace. This made Ruby stand out from her peers and was outcasted as a result. This causes her to developed depression due to the constant bullying from her peers because of her leg brace. When someone asked about her leg brace, Ruby always bitterly replied that she's in pain. The only people she felt close with is her family and her sisters. Ruby received her leg brace as a child when she has a birth defect on her right foot. Despite her pessimism, Ruby shows great sympathy for those who are emotionally hurt and vulnerable including her older sisters, younger sisters, and her family. She's also fascinated with death and the decays in the environment. Ruby even keeps a miniature black horse statue named Sven in her small cupboard whom she often talks to in her room during her inner monologues or rants. Matter of fact, Sven was named after Ruby's late boyfriend who was killed by a hunter. This also represents Ruby's inability to move forward and his death made her depression even worse. She and Sven met in English class when Sven approached her at her desk. Ruby was wary at first, but slowly warmed up to him and they both immediately clicked. Hell, this is the first time Ruby has ever been close to someone who doesn't make fun of her leg brace. But one day, Ruby starts to notice his strange behavior when he became distant towards her. It confuses yet hurt her at first until she spotted Sven heading straight to the loch while on her way home from school. Curious, Ruby decided to follow him and she couldn't believe her own eyes. Sven isn't just an ordinary teen boy, he's more than that. He's a kelpie, a shapeshifting water horse that preys on those who comes near them and drowns them to the water until they died before devouring them. Soon Ruby understands and sympathizes with Sven. She then confessed her feelings towards him and kissed him. Sven kissed her in return as both of them became a couple. After they started dating, Ruby introduced Sven to her family, who quickly accepted him as part of their family. However, they're relationship didn't last long when Ruby was searching for him at the Loch when she visited him for his birthday, but her plans didn't go as she thought when she dropped his gift to witnessed something horrific. She saw Sven's lifeless body in his horse form lying near the Loch. Heartbroken, Ruby kissed his skeletal head before and burying his body beneath the ground. Afterwards, Ruby took Sven's gift of the black horse statue to her room and placed it in the small cupboard to remember him by while her family sympathized her grief and vowed to be with her at all cost. When not ranting or talking about death and society to her family, she spends most of her time in her room talking to Sven about life, writing deep and dark poetry about life, practicing black magic or necromancy, or listening to rock music like Guns N' Roses, Evanescence and Paramore. Like her mother, Ruby utilizes black magic as well as necromancy. She also controls her own hair allowing her to freely alter, grow out, change texture, color, etc. due to her hair lacking nerves. Her animated hair can also be used as a defense mechanism whenever Ruby gets mad or at the brink of rage to the point where she uses telekinesis as part of her vile temper. Because of her leg brace, Ruby can run faster than her sisters and other humans.

Ginger Rosebush-The 13-year-old fourth daughter of the Rosebush family who is the mischievous and adventurous tomboy with ruthless savagery and a feisty attitude that runs through her veins. The world is full of ugly truths and a shitty reality, but in Ginger's eyes, it's a world of adventure and fun. Ginger isn't the type of person who doesn't care what people say or think of her. She could careless about how girls should looked or act. I mean come on, who would waste their time doing that kind of thing? All Ginger wants is to run around the fields, climbing gnarly trees, playing wild games with abandoned toys, collecting pebbles, and hitting things with sticks. Hence the name "Tomboy Red" due to her tomboyish, fun-loving, and adventurous nature. Ironically, Ginger is 13 and the end is near, but she refuses to grow up as she fears of forgetting her childhood and is repulsed by her pre-growth breasts as well as her mensuration. She also finds the idea of womanhood "boring" and "restraining". Ginger prefers to be wild and free rather than being a "tamed domestic animal". She even rejects feminity and the stereotypical gender role of what women should do. Although carefree and childish, Ginger cares deeply for her family and her sisters especially Robin. If someone dares to hurt them, then they'll going to receive a one-way ticket to hell. Much like her father, she has inhuman strength, excellent agility, and fantastic fighting skills. Besides being active outside, sometimes Ginger spends her time chatting with Rose and Robin, bugging Carmen or Ruby, training or playing with her father, napping besides her mother, playing video games or action figures, watching let plays on YouTube, playing jacks with Scarlet, Rose, or Ruby, and listening rap music like Doja Cat, Ashnikko, and Drake. Ginger is also a huge fan of Pink, Lizzo, Missy Elliot, Billie Eillish, Cardi B, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Avril Lavigne, whom she all admired so much cuz of their badass vibes.

Rose Rosebush-The 11-year-old fifth daughter of the Rosebush family who is the sweet, empathetic, and insightful mature girl with a spiritual vibe running through her veins. Most people lived in ugly dark world, but in Rose's eyes, she sees beauty in the cruel world. Rose is fascinated by the imperfections in the world with a sympathetic view on life believing that the circle of life is where people were born, lived, died, and reborn on the earth just like how Jesus Christ went through. Though Rose is rather abstract and spacey about it. Rose is quite mature for her age, but there is a certain air of innocence about her that is charming and disconcerting at the same time. While her sisters and her father hunt down humans for blood, Rose only hunts down the lambs as she sees them as "sacrificial substitutes" for her craving thirst, so she can "shed the blood away from their sins". Yet she shows guilt and sympathetic towards the lambs that she ravaged, but she must do what's best for her. Rose is also a passionate animal lover and wholeheartedly loves nature just like Ginger. She will even defend nature's smallest creatures and gorgeous plants against anyone who might wish them harm. Like Robin, Rose is getting bullied in school due to her eccentric personality and dhampir specie while suppressing her vampiric instincts. However, Rose is rather unfazed by it and ignored her bullies where she looks down at them with a pitiful expression and views them as "nuisances". Rose even sees the idea of belittling, harassing, and harming the weak as "meaningless" and "immature". The only person whom she felt a close connection with in school is Kaho, a female kappa. That is until her life changes when Rose met a young boy named Leon Gabel, whom she saved from the clutches of the Boggart, who was chasing after Rose for invading his yard while trying to save a baby fox that was entangled in barbed wire. Much like her sisters, Rose loves and cares deeply for her family and her sisters especially Robin, whom she shared a close sister relationship with. Much like her father, she can run faster than any ordinary human, but she also manipulates seven auras such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. When red, Rose can channel her or other's aura to increase her or their physical aspects such as specific bodily attributes or enhancing their finesse to the highest potential. When orange, she can empathize with others for better understanding. Rose can also understand or interpret their emotions. When yellow, Rose can generate her own unique aura. When green, Rose can use her aura to sense the pain, disease, etc, from others and besides regenerating herself like her father and her sisters, she also can heal others with her aura as well. When blue, Rose can channel her or their aura to gain higher level of enlightenment which enhanced her or other's intelligence. When indigo, she can use spiritual training to be in sync with the body, mind, heart, and soul. Rose can also used it in different applications such as separating herself from her physical form, track and locate objects, resources, and people, can use the indigo aura to access the third eye, mentally communicate with others while in a meditative state, and can be quiet and clear her mind that allows her to focus on only the task at hand. When violet, Rose can read the aura of another and gain information of one's emotion, health, and gain information of the special abilities of others. This makes her spiritually ascend into a developed state of awareness to the point where she became aware of false realities and breaks free from the illusions. While in the house, Rose spends her time mediating in her room, playing with Robin, helping Scarlet and her mother with chores, reading suspense tragic stories to Robin every night before bed, baking, and feeding or petting her animals.

Robin Rosebush-The 9-year-old youngest daughter of the Rosebush family who is the soft-spoken and demure girl with a perceptive view on life and death. While most children in her age are innocent and naive, Robin is none like the other kids. As the youngest child of the family who has been living in the forest for her entire life, Robin shows a solicitous understanding view on life and death, but she shows no fear of death due to seeing people, plants, or animals die "all the time". However like most children, Robin believes heaven could be a "safe and beautiful place" to go after she dies where "good people" became angels while "bad people" go to hell where they became "devils", but doesn't realized that death can be permanent. Throughout the story, Robin is shown to struggle with suppressing her vampiric instincts while being bullied by her peers due to her Dhampir specie and her precocious personality. That is until she met and befriended a young human boy in the same age as her named Jazz Klum. Besides showing undaunted reactions to death, Robin is more concern of having fun and being a child where she spends most of her time playing with Rose and Ash. She also has a passionate love for wolves and always pleading her parents to buy her a wolf for her birthday much to Rue's concern and Dracen's dismay because "one dog is enough". Robin naively believes that wolves are like dogs and werewolves are like people, but doesn't really how dangerous those creatures are. Much like her father and siblings, she has super speed, great agility, but also inherits her father's invisibility and has excellent reflexes with extreme hyper mobility where Robin can move her body parts in ways that are normally not possible as well as bending in ways that were not meant to. While she spends her time roaming around the woods, Robin spends her time at home playing LEGO blocks, jigsaw puzzles, playing or talking with Rose, listening to Rose's tragic tales before bed, snuggling with her mother, Ash, or father, and collecting or playing with old fashioned porcelain dolls (sometimes she does this with Ruby or Rose).
