Some time has gone by since that mission on Mountain Glenn and a lot of things have happened since then. The first of many was about Emerald.

Everyone didn't exactly welcome her with open arms at first, since she tried to kill Ruby and Yang along with Cinder, Mercury and Tai. But after Nemesis explained the situation to the rest of the group, they started to forgive her. The first ones who forgave her was Ruby and Yang, surprisingly, saying that she understood that she was simply following orders by someone who though of her as someone dear.

The next big change was from Raven. She explained to the Rose and Branwen family why she returned to them. Basically, after Qrow shower her the picture of the decapitated Salem, she explained to the tribe that she decided to leave and start living her own life and try fixing some of her mistakes from her past, beginning with her daughter that she abandoned so long ago. Although Yang was hesitant at first, she was happy to have her real mother back. Although she still sees both Summer and Raven as her mothers.

The last big thing was about Star. Since she left Tai, she had nowhere else to go. But that also meant that she has no family anymore, or so she thought. Yang and Ruby asked to Summer and Qrow is it was possible to make her part of the family. They thought about it and decided to do it. So the very next day, they told Star the news about them adopting her and she basically tackled them into a hug as she cried a little.

Those were the big news, and now, the Rose Branwen family can be seen training with their daughters. Ruby was training with Qrow for her scythe skills, Yang was training with Raven while starting to develop a better mother daughter relationship, and finally Star was training with her new mother Summer. She was using knifes to fight, similar to Summer and she was teaching a couple of tricks to how to predict the opponents movements.

"I'm glad to see that this family is finally enjoying their time together without any worry," said Ozpin as he watches the family train in the courtyard from a distance.

"I have to agree. This family has gone through so much, it brings a smile to see that they can finally enjoy their time together," said Tenzu.

"And what about Nemesis?" Ozpin asked looking towards Tenzu.

"The crazy plague doctor? He's doing fine. I believe that he's training Emerald at the arena. He's a hard person to read, especially with his peculiar speech patterns," said Tenzu as he takes a sip from his tea.

"That may be true, but he did do an incredible favour to us by killing Salem," said Ozpin, taking a sip from his drink as well.

"But what about the Grimm? They still lurk all over Remnant," Tenzu asked.

"You haven't noticed? Since the death of Salem, the grimm has been starting to act like normal animals. Meaning that they mostly gets hostile when someone gets into their territory," Ozpin explained.

"Well that's nice to hear," said Tenzu as the both of them turn to look at the family training.

"Indeed, these lands will be at peace for a long time, but can't forget about our duties," said Ozpin as he looks towards the family as well with a smile.

The family decided to take a break from the training as everyone grabbed a cold beverage from the portable cool box that they had near them.

"You girls a re doing great," said Summer to their daughters.

"Thanks mom," said Ruby.

"Yeah, it's tough but it's also worth it," said Yang as she get a pat on her shoulder by Raven.

"That's my girls," said Raven with a small, genuine smile.

Everyone let out a chuckle as they hear this. Moments later, they could hear someone screaming to get their attention. They look towards the source of the voices and saw Weiss, Blake, team JNPR and the rest of Star's team walking towards them.

"Hey everyone, how's training?" Blake asked.

"It's going great so far," Ruby responded.

"Say, is it possible that we could invite them to go to Vale?" Jaune asked.

The family looked at each other, before nodding.

"Sure, I think that they deserve a break, but we'll pick it back up tomorrow, understand?" said Qrow.

"Yay! Thanks dad!" said Star as she went to hug him.

"Now go enjoy yourself," said Summer with a smile.

"Thanks you!" said Yang as they went to their friends.

"*Sigh* What a peculiar team," said Raven.

"*Chuckles* We were almost the same back then, Raven. I'd say that we are even more peculiar that then now," said Summer.

"*Laughs* I can't deny you there. I mean, my sister and I can change into birds, Raven is now an ex leader of the tribe, and we got Summer who can transform into someone's worst nightmares. So I'd say that we are the weirder group here," said Qrow as he took a gulp from his flask.

"I guess that's true," said Raven with a small smile.

"Say, what do you think is going to happen to the future?" Summer asked.

"Who knows. I mean, Salem is gone, but that doesn't mean all evil has disappeared in the world. Sooner or later, a new evil will probably rise," said Raven.

"And who knows, maybe team RWBY will follow our footsteps and help the world in their own special way," said Qrow.

"Well, if that does happen, all we can do is support them the best we can," said Summer with a smile.

"Now on a less serious note, how about we go get something to eat?" Qrow asked.

"Hmm... Sure, any place in mind?" said Raven.

"Qrow and I know of a place in Vale. Come, well show you," said Summer as she starts making her way towards the Bullheads.

Both Qrow and Raven was shaking her head as she starts to follow her, seeing that she hasn't changed at all, even after what happened with eyes, she can still smile. And they could learn from her, that no matter how dark things may look, there will always hope and head forwards with a smile.
