-Summer's dorm, Day of the Initiation-

I woke up early today so I can wish my daughters luck for the test. I still remember when I did the initiation. The so called artefacts that Ozpin had for us at the time were big shards of Quarts and Obsidian in different shapes and sizes and each par had to obtain one for their own. My team obtained the four obsidian pillars, and we kept them. Over time, I cut the obsidian to make an obsidian knife out of it, which I still have.

I looked around the room that I've stayed for the last couple of year, and I noticed that someone was in here with me. And judging form the dark red and grey aura, I can tell who it was.

"Hey Qrow," I greeted groggily.

"Hey Summer, how did you sleep?" he asked as he walks towards the bed I was still laying in.

"Not bad, just a bit worried about the girls," I responded.

"Come on, Short Stack. We've taught everything we could to the girls, and even some of the teachers trained them early. So I'm sure that they will do great," said Qrow with a smile.

"Yeah, that's true. Now, could you... get out for a moment? Need to get dressed," I asked shyly.

"Oh come on, Short Stack. We've seen each other naked before. At least I did," said Qrow tauntingly, while I was blushing.

I can't exactly deny it. Over time, Qrow and I have become very close to each other, even after what happened to me and technically before that. Ruby is his daughter and I cheated with Tai, but that was when we were both very drunk and I don't remember anything from that night. Qrow on the other hand does remember everything from that night and he's very glad that to have his daughter close to him.

"You know what I mean, Qrow," I said, embarrassed.

"Alright, alright. I'm going to Ozpin. I'll see you at his office, alright?" said Qrow as he makes his way out of the room.

"Alright, see ya in a moment," I said as I hear the door close.

I started to put on my usual cloths and put my hooded cloak on and made my way towards the elevator.

-Locker Room-

Ruby and Yang were talking to each other and preparing a few things before thie initiation starts. While the sisters are talking to each other, at another part of the locker room was a red haird girl surrounded by people.

This girl is named Pyrrha Nikos, a world redound fighter who is currently surrounded by some fans and she tried to get away from her fans, but she isn't having that much luck with it.

"Hey! Leave her be!" said a blond boy with a simple light chest plate on, this boy is called Jaune Arc.

Just as he said that, Glynda called on the intercom to call everyone to the cliff, and all of the students made their way there, leaving Pyrrha alone for a moment. The red head was surprised that someone actually tried to help her. She soon snaps back to reality as Ruby came to check on her.

"Hey, are you alright?" Ruby asked innocently.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for asking," said Pyrrha kindly as she made her way towards the cliff, but not before giving another looked to the blonde boy.

Ruby was a bit confused on how she reacted, but she followed Yang towards the cliffside. As they approach the cliffside, they saw their mother and Qrow next to Glynda. Ozpin still need to arrive, so Ruby and Yang decided to talk with their family.

"Hey mom, hey Uncle Qrow. How are you doing?" Yang asked happily.

"Oh, we're here to see how you girls are going to do and to wish you luck," Summer, responded with a kind smile.

"Ah, thanks mom," said Yang as she and Ruby hugged the both of them before waking back to the launch pad.

Just then Ozpin came walking towards the group of students and stand next to Glynda, Qrow and Summer.

"For years you have trained to become warriors. And to day, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest," said Ozpin as he started his speech.

"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumours about the assignment of teams. Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given team mates... Today," Glynda explained.

Ruby was slightly nervous by hearing this, even if she heard this part multiple times on the footage that she watched. She was nervous because, there is a big chance that she might not end up in the same group as Yang.

"These team mates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Be-"

"Summer! Ruby! Yang!" said a voice that the three, fearfully, recognised.

Ruby, Yang, Summer and basically everyone else look towards the new voice.

There, approaching the launching platform, was Taiyang Xiao Long still with a missing arm.

"Dad? What are you doing here?" asked a girl with long icy white hair, dark purple eyes, a pair of cat ears, and a necklace with a bell on it.

"DAD!?" asked Ruby, Yang, Summer asked in shock.

Qrow leans towards Ozpin and started to whisper to him.

"Oz, I think we should postpone the initiation. We don't want Summer scarring all of the students," Qrow explained, by which he nodded.

"Listen everyone. The initiation will be delayed to tomorrow. Everyone, please go to the ballroom or stay at the courtyard and don't disturbed the other students," said Ozpin in a serious tone.

All of the students went away to do their own thing, except the Rose/Branwen Family, Ozpin, Glynda and the icy haired girl that called Tai dad.

"Tai, why are you here?" Ozpin asked in a serious tone.

Tai had a nervous and panicked look as he look between his former family and the white haired girl.

"Listen, please. I-I just wanted t-to apologize f-"

"Why would you apologize for what they did to you!?" asked the white haired girl in an angry tone.

"S-Star, please calm d-down,2 said Tai, trying to calm her down.

"How can I calm down when the family over there made him suffer!?" said Star.

"Excuse me. Did you say, made HIM suffer!?" Qrow asked in an angry tone.

"Do you even know what he did to us!?" Ruby screamed.

"Yeah! He's missing an arm BECAUSE he cut my arm FIRST!" Yang screamed as her semblance activated.

"You're clearly lying! You still got two arms, while he doesn't!" Star protested.

Just as she said that, Yang deactivated the camouflage ability on her arm, revealing the black and yellow demonic arm, shocking Tai and Star.

"I'm the one who's lying? I'M THE ONE WHO'S LYING!? HE FUCKING ABUSED US AND TORTURED US TILL WE COULD BARELY BREATH! MY SISTER STILL GET NIGHTMARES FROM THOSE BEATINGS! AND THAT WAS ALMOST TEN YEARS AGO!" Yang screamed, scarring Tai and Star.

"So... You've lied to me, dad," Star whispered.

"S-Star, please. Calm down a-and listen to me," said Tai.

"You spent most of my life lying on how this family made you suffer, while it was the other way around. Now I understand why she cut your arm off, because you deserve it you lying son of a b-" Star stated to say but was cut off my Tai punching her.

Star fell to the ground, holding her bleeding nose, and Tai instantly regreted it. Before he could say anything, he got shot twice. One by his arm and the other by his left leg. Tai looks up, and saw Ruby with her scythe and Qrow with his sword, both of the weapons in gun mode and both smoking.

"It's seams that you haven't changed one bit, Taiyang," said Qrow in a angry tone.

"I think you should go, Tai. And if you never come back to Beacon, unless you want to be arrested for trespassing," said Ozpin a very serious tone.

Tai started to stand up and slow walk away.

"Don't think this is over, Rose and Branwen Family," said Tai before he left.

Once Tai left their sight, Ruby folded Cresent Rose and helped Star to the infirmary.
