A/N: You know... I'm feeling generous, and knowing that a lot of you are waiting for the next chapter, I though 'why not'. I hope you'll enjoy it!

"W-w-where have you been? W-we though you w-were dead," Ruby stuttered through her tears.

"It's... it's a long story, and dark story," I said, hugging both my daughters as tight as I could, even if I couldn't see them physically.

"M-mom, w-why do you have that cloth over y-your eyes?" Yang asked, slowly reaching towards it.

"Yang, don't!" Qrow screamed, trying to stop her from reaching the blindfold, but it was too late.

I couldn't react in time from Yang taking the blindfold off. I quickly pushed the girls away before I could do any true harm to them. While the girls tried to recover and understand why I pushed them, they soon started shake in pure fear, because of what's happening to me.

I can feel my body crack, twist in unnatural ways. I could feel my back forcing my back to hunch forward, while making the most disgusting twisting sounds that any normal human should never be able to do. I could feel my left arm's bones breaking, the skin tearing itself apart and last, but not least hardening and transforming. Next, I started to feel my teeth turning sharp and pointed, then my cheeks started to rip open, revealing all of my now sharp teeth that was once hidden.

What I didn't noticed was the small cosmetic changes on my body, like my hair color changing to blonde, my skin getting tan and dirty or that my clothes changed as well. I look down to my hands and saw that the arm that was breaking has transformed into an axe.

"Girls! Look away!" Qrow screamed.

I look up see what's going on, and saw they turned pale, shivering and crying in fear. Then I realised what I turned into. A monster version of Tai.

"R-Ruby? Yang?" I asked as I tried to reach out to them, only for them run and hide behind Qrow.

When I saw this happen, I couldn't help but break down and cry, covering my eyes with my hands. Or the good hand that I got now.

"Summer, please look at me," said Qrow.

I continued crying, but I did as he asked. I slowly remove my hands from my face and look towards Qrow. I look into his eyes and I slowly started to feel my body change back to normal. My back started to snap back in place, my arm started to transform back to an arm, fixing the broken bones at the same time, and I can feel my teeth transform back to normal and my cheeks started to heal itself. Before anything bad happens to me, Qrow quickly put on the blindfold over my eyes.

"Don't worry, Summer. Everything's going to be alright," said Qrow, trying to calm me down.

"U-u-uncle Q-Qrow? W-w-what happened to m-mommy?" Ruby asked, still shaking in fear.

"It's... a long, and dark, story," said Qrow in an uneasy tone.

"Uncle Qrow?" Yang asked in a worried tone.

"Listen, all that you girls need to know for now is that she's still the mother that cared for you. What you girls just saw happening... she has no control over it. She never meant to scare you girls like that. I mean, look at her," Qrow said.

While they were talking, I continued to cry, my hands cupping my face.

"She didn't want to scare you girls. She had no control of what she just did, she's still the mother you girls love," Qrow explained.

Everyone stayed quite for a couple of minutes. All that could be heard was the sound of crying from me. After some time, I felt someone hug me, which surprised me. I look to who it was and it was a small, red aura.

"I forgive you, mommy," said Ruby, hugging me.

"R-Ruby?" I asked in disbelieve.

"Me too, mom. If you couldn't control it, then I forgive you," said Yang, hugging me as well.

I couldn't say anything, all I did was hug my two daughters with all the love that I can give.

"So... what do we do now?" Yang asked.

"I'm... not sure," I said to them.

"Maybe I can ask a favour from Ozpin. I'm sure he'd be willing to help you out. Especially after what Tai did to your daughters," Qrow suggested.

"I think it's the best option we got," I said to him.

"Alright. Give me a moment, I'm going to call a Bullhead to get us out of here," said Qrow as he walks outside, leaving alone with the girls.

-Outside the cabin-

"Hey Ozpin," said Qrow through his Scroll.

"Greetings, Qrow. What do I own this call for?" he asked.

"I... Need to ask you a favour. And this is fairly important," Qrow said in a serious tone.

"What's the matter?" he asked in a worried tone.

"It's about my nieces. Tai was abusing them and he even fucking chopped Yang's arm off. I want to bring them to safety," Qrow explained.

"Dear Oum. Qrow, I want you to bring them to Beacon as soon as you can. We'll provide the help you need," said Ozpin in a serious tone.

"Thank you, Ozpin. But I got more... news. Do you prefer to hear the bad news first?" Qrow asked hesitantly.

"What did you find, Qrow?" Ozpin asked.

"I... found someone that can turn into anyone's worst nightmare," Qrow said in a worried tone.

"And the good news?" Ozpin asked.

"It's Summer. I found her. And she's with the kids," Qrow answered.

Ozpin went quiet after hearing this.

"Oz? You there?" Qrow asked getting worried.

"Where are you right now?" Ozpin asked, even more serious than before.

"We're at the very north side of Patch, near the dock. We are in a wooden cabin roughly two miles away," Qrow instructed

"Alright, we'll be there as soon as we can," said Ozpin.

-Beacon, three hours later-

I was looking at beauty that is Beacon. It seams so long since I've been here and how good the times were. Now, it's just a distant memory. I quickly put my blindfold on and face Qrow and the girls again.

"Are you alright, Summer?" Qrow asked in a worried tone.

"Yeah, just... remembering the past, that's all," I said with a small smile.

"How was it, training to be a Hunter and Huntress?" Ruby asked excitedly.

"It was great. There was a lot to learn as well, but it's essential to fight against the Grimm," said Qrow.

"Really?" Ruby asked as stars started to form in her eyes.

"You think that one day we'll be Huntresses as well?" Yang asked.

"I'm sure of it," I said to her with a smile.

"Even with... the missing arm?" Yang asked, the hope slowly disappearing in her voice.

"Of course, pipsqueak. Don't worry. We'll come up with something to fix that, alright?" said Qrow as he bends down to her level.

At that moment, Yang quickly went and hugged Qrow. He lets out a chuckle as he lifts he up and gives her a piggyback ride. I kneel down and picked up Ruby, as she started to giggle.

"Let's go. The headmaster want to see us. And maybe after this, we can go around Vale," I said to them.

"Oh, oh! Could we buy cookies after this?" Ruby asked excitedly.

"*Chuckles* Sure, petals. Anything for you two," I said to them.

I could feel the worry slowly disappear from both my daughters, which makes me smile.

'I'm glad that my girls started to feel better. I just hope that things will be alright in the future,' I though as we make out way towards Beacon Tower.
