"Ugh, my neck... What happened?" said Yang out loud.

"Yang! Thank Oum you're awake," said Ruby.

Yang looks up and saw Ruby hanging from a ceiling, wrapped in chains. Yang looks down and saw that she was in a similar position as her sister.

"Well, well. Look who finally decided to wake up," said a female voice below them.

The two sisters looks down at the source of the voice and saw a woman in a red dress with yellow patterns, long black hair that covers one of her amber eyes.

"Let us go, you monster!" said Yang, struggling to free herself from the chains.

"I'm afraid that I can't do that. Besides, you girls can provide us with some good information about Beacon's secrets," said the woman.

"We would never tell anything to the scum like you!" said Ruby, trying to free herself from the chains as well.

"I think it would be best if you reconsider Cinder's option there, Ruby," said a new voice, one that made the two sisters freeze.

They look down and saw Taiyang standing next to Cinder with a sinister smile on his face.

"What the fuck are you doing here!?" Yang asked, her eyes turning red.

"Isn't that obvious? I'm here to lend Cinder here a hand," Tai responded.

"Why would you do that!?" Ruby asked.

"To get rid of you two and the rest of your pathetic family, starting with you two. And if we can get some new information of Beacon, that it's even better," said Tai.

"We won't say anything!" said both Ruby and Yang.

"Well, that's a shame. Because we'll have to use force now. Emerald, move our two 'guests' towards the fireplace. We're going to have some fun," said Cinder in a sinister tone.

Suddenly the chains that the two sisters were hanging from started to move. Yang is still struggling to free herself from the chains. After a couple of seconds, the chains stopped moving. The two sisters look down and saw that they were above a big pile of old dried wood. The two sisters have a good idea for what was about to happen to them.

"I give you girls one more chance to tell us what we want to know," said Cinder in a serious tone.

Ruby looks at Yang and both of them nodded to each other.

"We won't tell you anything!" said Ruby.

"*Sigh* So be it," said Cinder as she started to walk towards the big pile of wood.

Once she was close enough to the giant pile of wood, she extended her hand towards it. Suddenly a flame started to appear in her hand it burst forwards like a flamethrower on wood. Within a couple of seconds, the fire started to grow big and wild, and the two sisters started to feel the heat hit them. Within minutes, the girls started to sweat profusely as they continued to struggle to free themselves from the chains.

Due to the heat of the flames below the girls, the chains started to get hotter, up to the point where it starts to burn my touching it, all the while screaming in pain. But because of the screaming, they started to inhale the fire's fumes, causing them to cough heavily.

"HELP! SOMEBODY HELP US!" Ruby screamed, in between coughs.

"Scream all you want, nobody will hear you scream from here," said Taiyang with an evil smirk.

"Once I'm out of these fucking chains, I'm going to tear off every fucking limb or your!" Yang threatened.

"*Chuckles* I'd like to see you try," Tai responded.

The fire started to grow bigger and hotter. The was started to get so bad, that the two sisters can feel the outer layer of their skin slowly being pulled away and starting to break. Thanks to the heat as well, their blood started to get hotter as well, making them suffer and scream more in pain

-Hours Before Ruby And Yang Woke Up, Beacon-

"What do you mean Ruby and Yang have gone missing!?" Qrow screamed in shock.

"They were apparently following someone that they saw moving around Mountain Glenn. They could be anywhere!" Summer explained.

"God dammit!" said Qrow, smashing his fist to the wall.

Moments later, someone knocked on Qrow's door.

"Bird man? Are you alright?" Nemesis asked.

"No! My daughters are missing at Mountain Glenn," Qrow explained.

"Is that Nemesis in the background?" Summer asked through her scroll.

"Yeah, he's here," Qrow responded in a frustrated tone.

"Bring him with you. We need all the help we can get," said Summer.

"Then I hope that you don't mind if we come with you," said a new voice at the room.

Qrow and Nemesis turn around to face the source of the voice and saw the last person Qrow was expecting.

"Raven? Tenzu? How are your here?" Qrow asked.

"Your sis here flew to me and told me that something went wrong. I guess she was right," said Tenzu.

"Raven!? You're there too?" said Summer through the scroll.

"Are you guys just going to stay here waiting or are we going to save Ruby and Yang?" Raven asked in a serious tone.

"Raven, do you think you can bring us to Summer?" Qrow asked.

"I fear not. I thought that she was dead a long time ago and lost the link between us. Sorry Summer," said Raven.

"That's understandable. You've been gone for a long time as well," said Summer through the scroll.

"Come on, let's go to the Bullhead," said Tenzu.

"Nemesis, you can find Summer, right?" Qrow asked.

"Yeah, Nemesis can trace her due to the magic that Nemesis cast on her so she can see," he explained.

"Alright. Tenzu, Nemesis, you two need to go with the bullhead. Raven and I can get to Summer quicker, but we can't take you with us," Qrow explained.

"Understood. We'll see you at the city. Come on, Nemesis. We need to go as fast as possible," said Tenzu, as he runs out of the room and towards the Bullhead area, Nemesis following closely behind.

Raven opened the window and both of them transformed into their bird form and started to fly towards Mountain Glenn.

"So, are you going to explain why you suddenly came to help us?" Qrow asked.

"I... I though about what you said and I left the tribe and I wanted to return to... to the rest of the family," Raven responded.

Qrow was surprised that she actually responded like that. Normally, he would snap back negatively to her, but he could see that she meant it.

"I guess this is a good start for redemption," said Qrow.

Raven didn't expected that answer from him, but even in her bird form, a smile started to form.
