The day has finally arrived where all the first year students were waiting for, the day for their first mission. Everyone was gathered at the auditorium, waiting for Ozpin's speech.

"What kind of mission do you guys think we should take?" Ruby asked excitedly.

"I don't know, but I think that it has to be around Mountain Glenn, so we can try and investigate about the activity of the White Fang," said Blake.

"I have to agree with Blake. We have a lead that leads to them being there," Weiss agreed.

As soon as she said that, Ozpin and Glynda started to walk on stage and towards the microphone.

"Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin," said Glynda, gaining everyone's attention.

"Today we stand together, united. Mistral. Atlas. Vacuo. Vale. The four kingdoms of Remnant. On this day nearly eighty years ago, the largest was in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom. But about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self expression. And as you all are well aware that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself. Color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither would the generations to come. And it was a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism, and unity. Through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today while the rest of the world celebrate peace, Huntsmen and Huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional Huntsman or Huntress, on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best," said Ozpin, finishing his speech as everyone started to clap.

"This is perfect. All we have to do is shadow a huntsman working in the Southeast," said Ruby.

"Yeah! We'll follow them around by day and give them the slip at night," said Yang excitedly.

"So that's what's you girls are planning?" asked a female voice, starteling the team.

The team turn around and Summer in her usual white cloak and her blindfold over her eyes.

"*Chuckles* Sorry girls, didn't mean to scare you," said Summer.

"Don't worry, mom," said Ruby with a kind smile.

"So this is your mother, it's nice to meet you miss Rose," said Blake.

"Likewise, Blake. So you girls wish to go towards the Southeast of Vale?" Summer asked curiously.

"Wha- No... not at all," said Ruby, trying to lie.

"Girls, you don't need to lie. I'll be going with you on any of these missions," Summer explained.

"Really? That's great!" said Yang.

"Ah, there you are girls are. And I see that Summer beat me to it," said another voice directed to the group.

The group looks towards the voice and they were met with Ozpin.

"Hello, headmaster," said the team at the same time.

"Hello team RWBY. I see that Summer informed you girls that she's going to be the huntress that will be with you during the mission," said Ozpin.

"Yeah, we're about to discuss on what mission we should take," said Weiss.

"I though, that we could take the Search and Destroy mission in Mountain Glenn," Summer suggested.

"Are you sure about this, Summer?" Ozpin asked in a worried tone.

"I can still fight, even I can't see the enemy directly," said Summer with a confident smile.

"I don't doubt that. I wanted to make sure that the girls agree with it as well," said Ozpin.

All the girls look at each other before nodded.

"We agree, professor," said Ruby with a confided smile.

"Alright them. Usually that kind of mission is reserved for older year students, but I think I'll bent the rules just this once," said Ozpin, pulling out his scroll and writing something on it.

The team looks relieved and excited.

"We won't let you down," said Ruby determent.

"I've seen what you girls can, and I know that you won't. Good luck," said Ozpin, walking away.

The girls now started to walk towards the landing platform where they will soon be transported towards Mountain Glenn.

"You girls have been very busy, haven't you?" Summer asked to the team.

"What are you talking about, miss Rose?" Weiss asked, nervously.

"I may not have eyes, but we do keep an eye on you girls. Impressive work with the Paladin, by the way," said Summer.

The girls froze when they heard her comment that.

"*Chuckles* You girls should be proud of your actions. That sort of actions would be expected by a full fledged hunters," said Summer with a smile.

"What!? You girls have been on crazy adventures without us? I'm hurt, sad, maybe a little hungry. That last one is not your fault though. Ren." said a very cheerful toned girl.

As the group turns around, they were met with Team JNPR and Star's team, CADS (Cards), which consisted of Casey Ranter, Axel Nightrra and Dwayne Hunt.

"Where are you guys going for your mission?" Jaune asked.

"Oh, just outside the kingdom," Ruby responded.

"Hey! So are we," said Nora.

"So are we," said Star.

"Ren and Nora wanted to shadow the sheriff of a nearby village," said Pyrrha.

"And we'll go tomorrow as well," said Star.

"We're going to protect a nearby village from some grimm attacks that's been happening recently," Axel explained.

"Well, we wish you good luck," said Yang.

"Same to you," said Star with a smile.

"Good luck," said Jaune.

Team RWBY started to walk towards the Bullhead with Summer. After a couple of minutes, the Bullhead started to fly towards the destination.
