The bright lights had finally stopped but the carnage kept going. The beast had only gotten stronger and the huntsmen have either gone mad, are too weak, or they've already died

Yang: These monsters don't look like grimm!?

Nora: That's cause they're not

Blake: Then what are they?

Nora: I can't explain right now but now, that the flashing lights are gone, it's time we clear this out

Before they could argue Nora ran straight into the beasts and, while igniting her hammer, set them ablaze. While they scream in pain she proceeded to bash their heads in, and a few knees, her friends watch in awe

Ruby: She uh..... she really has changed

Jaune: Yeah, no kidding

Yang: Well can't let her have all the fun now, can we?

Weiss: Although I don't find pleasure in saying this, Yang is right! We trained for this, sorta!

Blake: Well let's do this

Ruby: GO TEAM RWBY!!

They ran in on the battle and, with their combined strength, they were clearing every beast they came upon

Jaune: Glad she hasn't changed!

Ren: Yes, as am I

They join their friends and as they fight they can't help but wonder where Pyrrha has disappeared to

Nightmare of Memphis

Light dispersed from Micolash hands and honed in on the mint haired girl. Her and Mercury were tasked on killing anyone they found but they had picked off more than they could chew. Micolash had swallowed up Mercury with his tentacles and Emerald tried running away but her illusions didn't work. He saw right through her semblance as if he was looking through a window

Emerald: How—!?

Before she could question anything the light shot through he chest. It hurt like hell but it didn't kill her. She used her last bit of strength to run away from the scholar, sadly, she didn't get very far. She turned the corner and ran into another individual. She looked up at the individual and saw his piercing, red eyed, glance

Emerald: H-help me!

She spits out a bit of blood and the holes in her body starts to make themselves known to her. She kneels over from fatigue and pain but is caught by (Y/N) in his arms

(Y/N): Forgive me but it appears you I am too late to give assistance

He takes out the small side of the Rakuyos and brings it up to her chest

(Y/N): May you find your peace in the waking world

He gently drives the knife in her heart and dies immediately. Once she is dead he takes his blade and puts it away then shuts her eyes

Salem: A shame, really. She showed promise with her semblance

(Y/N): Nothing can be done. I must finish what I started

Loud footsteps are heard coming from the corner at the end of the hall. A shadow of a cage appears as Micolash turns the corner, with his wicked smile. (Y/N) stands and holds out his Rakuyo out in each hand

Salem: You should turn around and run. Last time you didn't stand a chance

(Y/N): Now it's different. I've given up my humanity!

He takes one step and is immediately impaled by several rays of light. He stands still for a moment before the holes in his body start to cover in blood then are completely healed, his pale flesh visible through the holes

(Y/N): Do you hear it? The hunt! It calls for me, I must end the nightmare, and you are standing in my way

He plunges the blades into himself and they appear out from his back. He takes a step back before he pulls them out with blood covering them and making them longer

Salem: You are insane! I like that

He swings his larger blade at him causing Micolash to jump back. He didn't jump far enough. The blood  extended greatly and cut Micolash straight across his stomach causing the mad man to hold his injury

Salem: Interesting

Micolash: Oh, you are terrible!

He turns to run and (Y/N) follows behind him, walking, at his own pace. His bright red eye glows as his other eye is covered by his bangs. Meanwhile, in the hunters dream, the Doll was sitting by some white roses and humming a lovely tune

Courtyard

The courtyard was mostly cleared out by now. The beast have dwindled in numbers and the remaining atlas soldiers started helping the, sane, wounded. Team RWBY and the remaining of team JNPR finally had time to catch up

Jaune: So, Nora, where have you been?

Blake: Yeah, you've been gone a couple of weeks now

Nora: What?!

Weiss: What?

Nora: What do you mean weeks!? It's only been one night!

Ren: One night? Nora you've been gone for nearly a month

Nora: But, how could I?

She thinks back to her time in Yharnam and noticed how long she actually spent there. Not once did she ever feel the need to sleep or eat except the need to hunt. Even now she still feels the need to hunt

Yang: *concerned* Hey what happened to the school

Yang points to the school, now that all the madness has calmed down, and noticed that the school had changed

Blake: What happened to Beacon!?

Jaune: Has it always been like that!?

Yang: No way, we would've definitely noticed something like this

The school was nothing like they remembered. It had gotten bigger and looked more decayed than before. They were so distracted that they didn't notice Ruby having another one of her episodes. She held her head as she sees Pyrrha, on the roof, take an arrow to the heart. She then sees herself glow, a bright silver, from her eyes and her vision ends

Ruby: Pyrrha!!

Shs runs into the school, without thinking, and leaves her friends worried

Yang: Ruby!!

Before they could run after her more beast come from the forest. They get ready to fight again but Yang is deciding whether or not to chase after her sister

Blake: Go after her!

Yang: What!? But what about you guys?

Weiss: We'll be fine. We trained for this, although they aren't exactly grimm

Nora: I'll go with, come on!

Ren: Nora, wait!

Nora: Yes, Ren

Ren: *smiles* Just make sure to come back this time

Nora: *giggling* I promise

Her and Yang run inside the lecture building while the rest of the team stay behind to take care of the beast. Meanwhile Ruby is using her semblance to run to the top of the building as fast a possible

Nightmare of Mensis

Micolash is running through the halls of the school, trying to escape the hunter. He soon comes to a dead end as the footsteps of the red eyed Vileblood. Micolash extends his arm out and tentacles come from the void in his hand. As they were about to grab (Y/N) he vanishes and appears behind Micolash

(Y/N): Nowhere to run

A hand burst through Micolash chest as blood spurts through the freshly made wound

(Y/N): May you find your peace in the waking world

He doesn't fall down immediately. He wobbles away desperate to stay in the nightmare. It all proves futile when he falls down and starts to dissappear

Micolash: I'm waking up! I'll.... forget...... everything!!!

He soon dissappears, leaving the duo alone. (Y/N) holds his emotionless look and continues moving forward

Salem: Such power. What was in that vile you used earlier, maybe I could use some of it?

(Y/N): Blood. The blood of someone I considered a mother!

Salem: Your mothers blood. She must've been a firce warrior to give you this much power

(Y/N): She was so much more, I could only dream of being as great as her

Salem: But you are, you said it yourself, you killed her. You are so much stronger

(Y/N): But I didn't, she let me kill her, she couldn't bare the burden anymore

Salem: And I thought I had family problems

He stops walking and grabs Salem to lift her up to eye level

(Y/N): I don't like your tone head! Disrespect my lady anymore and you'll see that being a severed head is only the beginning of your misery

Salem:...... Very well. I'm no fool, I know a losing battle when I see one

(Y/N): Good, now stop talking

He soon reaches the top of the lecture building and spots a worried woman in a wedding dress. She was deathly pale, more than Weiss, and a bloody stain on her stomach as she looks up at the very top of the building

A familiar feeling hit (Y/N) but he pushed it aside, knowing he was close to the end of the Nightmare. He walks inside and goes up the elevator then spots a baby carriage. The baby cries as soon as (Y/N) enters the area and as he gets closer to the carriage the baby cries louder. Then, from the sky, a creature drops in to the area and defends the baby

Mergos wet Nurse

(Y/N) readies himself once again for a battle with the creature of the Nightmare, this one looking more challenging than the last. Unbeknownst to him, a couple floors down, a red headed spartan was fighting with another woman in a red dress. And Ruby wasn't too far away from them followed by Yang and Nora not that far behind her

Well I really can't believe I'm saying this but only 2 chapters left on this story. My second story, my first original one, and probably the first story I'll ever finish. That is crazy. All I can say is thanks to everyone who was here to witness the end of a story that could've been finished in a couple months. If only I was more consistent. Oh well. I'll try and update as fast as possible but no promises. Anyway I'll see you all next time, bye
