Not long after Orion went into the woods Sophia woke up. Her brown hair was matted with dirt and twigs. "Good morning." I said. She replied "I hope it's a good morning." I giggled and crawled over to her, for some odd reason Calix and her both decided to sleep on the same side of the fire, resulting in Calix putting both his arm and leg on Sophia's chest. I'm not even sure how you can do that either.

When I got to my destination I helped Sophia push off Calix's limbs, I then helped her up into the sitting position. "Can I look at your wound?" I asked.

"Sure, but while your doing that I'm going to be getting these sticks out of my hair." I nodded in agreement and went strainght for her leg. When I unwrapped the bandages I sighed in relief, the cut seemed to have started mending it's self back together and healing. Sophia shouldn't feel pain from her leg now.

"You can walk again today, your wound is starting to close up. But I would go easy at the same time, you don't want to open it." I said wrapping her leg back up.

"Ok, hey where's Orion? I didn't see him when I woke up."

"He told me he's going out into the woods." I said blushing.
Sophia had a sly smirk on her face,"don't tell me you already have feelings for him."

I looked up confused, "Of course I would, we're friends I don't want any one you to get hurt, well hurt even more." I said glancing down at her leg.

Sophia sighed in frustration,"I'm not sure if you got what I was talking about, but I guess that's a nice answer so I'll leave it at that." I smiled and ran my left hand through my hair, sure enough their were sticks and leaves in it. Calix was still sleeping by the time Orion came back.

We didn't have alot of food left in our bags, there's about three days left of food but that's only if we keeps skipping lunch. We were about halfway to our mark so I guess it didn't matter, we could jog our way back on the last day.

I stomped out the fire and told Sophia to wake up Calix. "Nooooooooooooo I don't wanna get up yettttt."Calix said whining. I handed bottles of water out along with some more granola bars. "Wish we could have actual food." I muttered. When we were done eating we headed out again, this time the pace was faster.

I think everyone was still a little shook up from the fight yesterday. We stopped once when we got to a river but that was the only rest we were gonna get that day.

"There it is" I said excitedly pointing to the huge tree. But I paled just as fast. Underneth the big tree was the biggest warrior I have ever seen. The warrior must have been as tall as a two story house. If you looked behind the warrior you could see that it was guarding what looked like a pistle, bow and arrow, knife, and a long sword. These must be the weapons we have to achive. We could use them for fighting the Warrior if we snuck past it.

"Ok guys we need to make a plan, Calix and I will distract the warrior while Sophia and Orion sneak past the warrior."

"Celena you should sneak with Sophia to the weapons. Your arm is still hurt." Orion said. I waved my hand dismissing the idea, "Nah my arm dosent hurt but if you really want to you can distract."

"Yeah let's go with that plan, I don't want you to get hurt."Orion said.

Sophia and I got ready to sneak past the warrior while Orion and Calix walked right up to the Warrior. The Warrior snake eyes focused on the two figures walking up to him.

With excitement the Warrior spoke. "Well what do we have here, my snack of the day?" The Warrior spoke in a gruff voice.

"Sorry to dissapoint you, but I wanted to ask you a few questions." Orion says

"There is no need for questions if I kill you." The warrior said

"Yes but I was talking about a special lady that's interested in you." The warrior was silent, listining to what Orion was saying.

Orion gave me a glance and a nodded. That was the signal, we have to go now. I tapped Sophia's hand to warn her of the signal. We slowly snuck closer. Calix then spoke for the first time to the Warrior,"This little lady seems to have an eye out for you, here let me draw her for you."

"Why can't you humans bring her out your self." I got worried we didn't go deep into the plan for questions like these.

"She's a shy one, especially to someone she finds attractive." Calix said drawing the first line of the picture.

Sophia and I sprinted over to the tree successfully. The Warrior hadn't turned around at all, being to preoccupied in Calix's drawing. The weapons were in the front of the tree they were all gleaming with their golden color. Sophia and I were so close that we could almost touch them.

I immediately touched the closes weapon, the pistle. At first I thought it was my imagination but the weapon it's self was getting warmer and warmer to the point where my hand was burning. I quickly handed it to Sophia but judging by her expression the weapon was doing the same thing.

She stuffed the golden pistle in her bag. I reached for the next item, the bow and arrow. This was alot heavier then it looked so when I had grabbed it I dropped the arrows. The sound seemed to have echoed through the trees. "Oh poop, we're done for." I said aloud.

The warrior turned around with rage in his eyes. "You dare try to trick me to get my golden weapons." I was so nervous that I spat the first thing that came to mind," Ummm obviously I dare to trick you, I mean why else would I be holding the weapons."

Calix stifled a laugh, Orion who was right next to him faced palmed.

The Warrior grabbed Calix and threw him at us. "Calix" Sophia screamed.
Calix got up from a nearby tree that he hit "I'm good." The bow in my hands burned once again, by now Orion was running to Sophia and I . When he got to me I shoved the bow and arrows in to his hands, I couldn't take the blistering heat anymore.

Sophia had grabbed the knife and was holding it with more confidence then the other weapons. "Is it not burning you?" I asked worridly, the Warrior was unsheathing his sword. "It must have chosen me" Sophia answered.

Then that must be the last weapon is mine, the sword. The Warrior charged at us. Sophia called Calix to hurry over for his weapon. He did as told and hurried over almost knocking Sophia over in the process. She took the pistle out of her bag and gave it to Calix almost instantly you could tell he was more at easy with the weapon in his hands.

I looked back to the monster to see the blade about to touch me. An arrow came from behind me puncturing the armur of the Warrior. The Warrior screeched, and ripped the arrow out of himself. Almost instantly the arrow dissolved into golden dust. "We can't let the Warrior heal, we have to keep shooting it." Orion said form behind me, he must have been the one that shot the arrow.

I sneaked a glance at my sword, this time not almost getting killed in the process. Some how it had fallen off the ledge that it was perched on. I jumped to the grassy floor, right in front of my weapon. When I touched the hilt of the sword I felt as if my whole body had gotten stronger.

My body wasn't the only thing that felt like it changed, my mind mentally, had a new courage to protect anyone around me. I held my sword, confidence now in my eyes.

I was ready for a fight.
